COLUMBIA, S.C. — Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren suggested that abortion restrictions and anti-abortion politicians were motivated by a desire to return to a period when women could not participate in the workforce."It is not 1952," the Massachusetts senator said on Saturday about her work in the upper chamber to expand abortion rights. "You're not going to lock women back in the kitchen. You are not going to tell us what to do."Warren was speaking at the "We Decide" forum hosted by Planned Parenthood's political arm, an event coinciding with the state Democratic convention. She has promised that if elected president she would have Congress pass a bill into law

Wouldn't be a problem if they would keep their knees together, old saying from a long time ago.

I think she is telling us that her own mother was "locked in the kitchen."
Sheesh. These harridans are tiring.

Non sequitur.
A straw-man if I ever saw one. Create a false representation of your opponent's position, then tear it apart as easily as a man made of straw.

Does the year 1952 have some particular meaning or did she just pick a random year? Roe was decided approximately 20 years after 1952 so I’m curious as to why she said 1952. Other than she’s crazy.

I missed the squaw's appearance before the Planned Parenthood butchers.
But I did watch Jo Biden prostrate himself before the bloody cultists.
He shamed himself beyond belief.

Liz Warren's views are an echo of what the slaveholders said, that their livelihoods depended on what they were doing.

Fauxcahontas knows where the kitchen is? I'm surprised, I thought she mostly cooked her food on a campfire out in the woods. She has a fridge though,...that's where she goes when she's "gonna get ME a beer".

What is she talking about? This from the woman that also wants to tax wealth. Is this how she would govern? America must do better.

She's investing in the future. Her future. I can't think of a more effective way of chopping wood for the eternal fire that awaits her.

I think this woman should sit down and read what life was like in 1952. Mothers stayed home (because they wanted to) to take care of their home and family. Fathers earned the living that allowed the mom to stay home. You didn't read about kids growing up to be Rapists or Robbers. They went to school (not all went to College), then they had a Trade of some sort that provided them with a job of their own. College was for the people who could afford it. Boys knew they were boys and girls knew they were girls. No question about it. People dressed appropriately when they went to school and church. Towns were well kept (by the people) and so were churches. Stores were "downtown" and everyone shopped there. No Malls! Movie Theaters showed Movies fit for families to watch together. I think Ms. Warren should spend her time teaching those "poor women" who will have to travel to get abortions how to swallow that FREE little white Birth Control Poll. Then they won't have to travel anywhere. The Taxpayers should not be responsible for their stupidity!

I'm a professional woman and I love the kitchen!
My father always said birth control ruined the world. It eliminated the fear of pregnancy and caused the sexual revolution.
My mother spent her life at home until we went to college and loved it. Then she went back to work and had a fulfilling career. Nothing wrong with that!

So the FREE birth control pill is just too dang complicated for these people. That whole “one pill each day” is really tough to master.
However. Sterilization is widely available.
And there’s abstinence.
This is the party of science.

Just thinking linearly here. So, not allowing some female nutcase
to abort her hours-from-birth baby is the same as forcing her to
accept responsibility for her own actions and worse, cook food
for the little unit.
