Donald Trump: US president in
'Prince of Whales' Twitter error

Original Article

US President Donald Trump has caused a splash on Twitter after he tweeted to say he had met the "Prince of Whales". Mr Trump made the mistake, intending to refer to Prince of Wales, Prince Charles, in response to articles following an ABC news interview. He said he would listen if a foreign government gave damaging information about a political rival without necessarily reporting it to the FBI. In the tweet, he accused media reporting the statement of "fake news". (tweet) Mr Trump subsequently deleted his tweet and corrected his error. Referring to his recent UK state visit, the president initially wrote on Twitter: "I meet and talk to 'foreign governments' every day.

Corpse-man for corpsman. But, the criticism of Trump is appropriate. "Your" forgetting that spellin' and grammar isn't important anymore in the U.S. education system.

Before condemning the President for alleged spelling errors, first verify whether Twitter's auto-correction feature did not play a part. I often struggle with my not-so-smart smart phone's inserting the wrong words texts. Otherwise, perhaps this was a case of the President' tweaking HRH Prince Charles for his environmentalist leanings.

If he loses the election it will be said that he lived by the tweet and died by the tweet. At least 90% of the controversies he has stirred have resulted from something he has said. I would venture that otherwise he would be well ahead in the polls. Alas.

On one of President Reagan's birthdays, a member of the press congratulated him for looking so young. Reagan thanked him and attributed his apparent youth to his parents taking the wrong baby home from the hospital. Obviously, any baby taken home from the hospital would have been the same age. Presidents make jokes, and they make gaffes. This doesn't worry me.

After the ridiculous lecture he had to endure from the wooden top Prince on globull warming, I have no doubt that this is how so many people see him anyway. The Prince was a terrible host that day, and really missed the boat. He could have talked about his favorite subject of architecture and had a grand time with Trump. But he had to give in to his global leftist sensibilities. Prince of Whales is about right. That one needs to stick.

If you could call them controversies, #14. They're controversies only in the minds of the juvenile press corpse (yes, I meant to do that). Spelling and grammatical errors are legion nowadays in the product of professional "journalists." I can't help but wonder if Trump does it deliberately. While his opponents and the media (but I repeat myself) are gnashing their teeth and wringing their hands over meaningless BS, Trump is busy over there implementing his agenda.

President Donald Trump on Saturday denied a New York Times report claiming the U.S. is ramping up cyber attacks against Russia, calling the decision to run the article a “virtual act of treason.” According to the Times, the U.S. is increasingly targeting Russia’s electric power grid and has even gone as far as to install debilitating code inside it. The operation is the first of its kind, according to the newspaper, which also claimed two administration officials said President Donald Trump is believed not to have been briefed on the mission. Reacting to the report in a pair of tweets, President Trump wrote

The United States is stepping up digital incursions into Russia’s electric power grid in a warning to President Vladimir V. Putin and a demonstration of how the Trump administration is using new authorities to deploy cybertools more aggressively, current and former government officials said. In interviews over the past three months, the officials described the previously unreported deployment of American computer code inside Russia’s grid and other targets as a classified companion to more publicly discussed action directed at Moscow’s disinformation and hacking units around the 2018 midterm elections.

James Madison is justly celebrated for his frequently stated opinion that “all power in just and free Government is derived from compact.” But Madison’s view is not endorsed by all purported champions of the founders. A recent article, “Our Unwritten Constitution: Orestes Brownson and the Foundation of American Liberty,” published as part of the Real Clear Policy series on the American Project and co-authored by Richard M. Reinsch II and the late Peter Augustine Lawler, argues that Madison is utterly mistaken in his claim. In fact, the authors claim that reliance on “Lockean contract theory” produced a constitution that was “devised solely in the interest of the rights of individuals”

President Trump owes his presidency largely to evangelical Christians. With four out of five white evangelical voters supporting President Trump in 2016, they made up the core of his voting base. But unless he takes a more compassionate approach to immigration reform, he may not be able to count on the same support in 2020. In recent years, evangelical Christians have been seen as staunchly unsympathetic to immigrants. This view is somewhat merited: A 2017 poll found that three-quarters of white evangelicals supported the “travel ban” preventing refugees and others from Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S.

The Alaska Supreme Court ruled that a state law requiring the registry of all sex offenders is unconstitutional because it violates offenders' rights to due process. The ruling was issued Friday. In a 3-2 decision, the court said an offender must be given the chance to prove he or she is rehabilitated and no longer remains a threat to the public. “Our decision requiring an individualized risk-assessment hearing is based on the judicial power,” the court wrote in its opinion. If an offender "can show at a hearing that he does not pose a risk requiring registration, then there is no compelling reason requiring him to register, and the fact that
