Thursday on ABC’s “The View,” Whoopi Goldberg was briefly “bleeped” during her comments on President Donald Trump’s visit abroad.Co-host Joy Behar said it was “rich” to watch Trump’s conduct at the anniversary of D-Day in Normandy.Goldberg said, “I don’t want to talk about him there because it irritates the (bleeped) out of me.”After Goldberg’s audio was restored, she continued, “All those people who went and gave their lives – they didn’t have bone spurs, they went. People went to fight the ugly that was happening. They went and did it.

I have never watched the view, or these women, but from what has shown up at Lucianne.com I'm pretty sure I haven't missed much. Why is Whoopie being irritated by Trump suppose to be of interest to me? He has accomplished more in his life than she or Joy ever have, and will continue to do so, in spite of their opinions of their own importance. OBTW I think Joy is misnamed, she seems to be a very unjoyful person.

It's interesting how this year's D-Day anniversary has brought out so much national pride from unctuous lefties like Whoopi, Acosta and many others. Clearly, they're all patriots now because PDJT is in the middle of official observances and the hatred for him supersedes America hatred. Subtlety of motive has never been a puzzler with those folks, "folks" being a euphemism.

It appears that Whoopi and Joy are still having a hard time accepting that Trump is President of the United States and, in accordance with his 2016 election win, has the honor of representing the United States during the anniversary of D-Day in Normandy. Most Americans and Europeans appreciate that the President of the United States represented his country at this event. The hate spewed by Whoopi and Joy is despicable. If they do not like Trump as president, they are free to enter the 2020 presidential race and present their plan to credentials and their plan to do a better job. Let the voters decide. As Whoopi and Joy demonstrate, it is much easier to be a critic of others than it is to show them how much better prepared you are to do their job. I do not believe the negative attitude and hate-filled drivel spewed by these two "entertainers" should get them elected dog-catcher, but again let the voters decide

And furthermore........ Republicans prefer, but don't require military service. Democrats however only tout their own service if their opponent has none, If their opponent does have military service, the dems deem it unnecessary. Clinton didn't need it to run against Bush, Obama didn't need it to run against McCain, but by G-D! it was imperative that the war hero Kerry had more combat experience than Bush.

Note to WHoopsie, the vast majority of people in this country have never served, thats why we honor those who did so much. It does not require military service to honor a soldier. I never served, I am still proud to be an American and I am honored that so many were willing to do what I am unable to. I grew up with the greates generation all around me. Even then it was a small fraction of the dads, uncles, freinds and acquaintances of me and my freinds. They were not vocal or even known often times. They had come home and done what we all wanted. Got married, bought a house, worked at a career, had kids and a family. They never pointed out who did and did not serve as if it were some pre requisite for enjoying the freedom they provided. Your very existence is because of them, if they never judged, why should you.

Aside from the hypocrisy of this woman who loved draft-dodger Bill Clinton, some of those soldiers might have had bone spurs. Requirements were different when we were preparing to fight a world war. My father was drafted when he was in his 30s. I haven't researched it but I have a feeling some on the medical issues used to avoid the draft in the Vietnam era were not available in 1941--45.

The 2020 election is lurching toward us like a malfunctioning robot, and I think we must ask ourselves: Can we risk nominating a man for president? Men selected as major-party nominees for president have failed to win the popular vote 50 percent of the time. Contrast that to the 100 percent of the time that a female nominee for president has won the popular vote. More importantly, are Americans ready to withstand another four years of male presidency? It is unpleasant to traffic in stereotypes, and many men are in no way like this, but recent experience teaches that for usually 31 days a month (sometimes 30, occasionally 28),
