Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee announced Monday that they will call John Dean, the former White House counsel to President Richard Nixon, as their first witness in the upcoming Mueller report hearings.
The hearings, which House Democrats have titled “Lessons from the Mueller Report: Presidential Obstruction and Other Crimes,” will begin June 10 and will primarily serve as a platform to further explore President Trump’s alleged attempts to obstruct Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.
“While the White House continues to cover up and stonewall, and to prevent the American people from knowing the truth, we will continue to move forward with our investigation,” Judiciary Committee chariman

So, how old is John Dean? This flash from the past shows how Dems hope to restore the glory they pretended to have in attempting to impeach Nixon. Donald Trump will not resign, you idiots. He ain't no Nixon.

The dems have to go back almost 50 years to the time of their "victory" over Nixon to summon up the ghost of Obstruction. Their witness is the Michael Cohen "rat" of that time who betrayed Nixon. I believe Nixon and his people were unbelievably stupid over something that was trivial in nature. They could have let justice take its course and then pardoned the Watergate crooks at Nixon's exit. This was what Mueller was trying to do, pressure Trump into a stupid move. Trump, while frustrated, did NOT accommodate him. Mueller, as a partisan hack, could not assemble viable evidence against Trump so in frustration, he and his team resorted to smears.
REAL lawyers, Barr and others at Justice, determined, accurately, that there was no obstruction. The House dems have now picked up the gauntlet but the public can actually read Mueller's report and know there is nothing there. The House cannot bring the pressure to bear that Mueller did so their attacks will greatly lack Mueller's punch. The House can vote as they wish but there is nothing for the Senate to work with. The Constitution bar for presidential removal is HIGH crimes and misdemeanors. At worst, Trump might have gotten a parking ticket for ill temper due to great provocation. The House dems are playing with fire. You think that after getting burned by Reid "going nuclear" and the Republicans returning the favor 10 fold they would be more cautious.

Will the republicans call C Gordon Liddy? He made a few comical statements about Dean.

Calling in the rat John Dean is like calling in Jane Fonda to discuss the dangers of Nuclear power because she was in the movie The China Syndrome.....neither know the square root of Foxtrot Able about anything....

Dean is 81 years old. Anyone under the age of 60 doesn't have a clue who he is, and couldn't care less about what he could possibly say.

Rumor has it no one responded to Nadler's subpoenas to those involved with the Teapot Dome scandal.
What a shame.

Well of course they are! They've been replaying their tapes from the 60's and 70's for decades, assuming that, "Hey, if it worked once, it will surely work again!" Ha! Not since the demise of leftist owned print and broadcast news media. The Internet has changed all the old rules.

I watched Jerry Nadler chairing some meeting, and it was hilarious.
Point of order - point of order - or whatever they say.
I just might watch
THE UPCOMING MUELLER REPORT HEARINGS.
I bet it will be fun to watch.

Just call CNN he spends much of his time there. He loves to reminisce about the good old days when he ratted out Nixon. Between John Dean & Carl Bernstein they like to brag about how much they think they knew about Watergate. Both come across as idiots..

C Gordon Liddy was ask did he have any guns he said no but my wife has a few, & he said something colorful about Dean & prostitutes. People stopped what they were doing & came to the court room because it was entertaining. Oh my goodness next the dems will probably bring in Lannie Davis & Bob Bennett.

Mr. Watergate Break-in himself. Ask him how Maureen Biner-Dean is doing, and if they ever found that little book he was looking for.

Whip meets dead horse. I want to see his prostitute wife and maybe find that 'blackbook' of democrat clients to be blackmailed by Nixon's 'burglar plumbers'. This is hilarious to watch the left flounder like fish in the sun on dry land.
