If you are bewildered by the weird antipathy with which Democrats and the media regard Attorney General William Barr, consider a passage from the Nobel Prize acceptance speech delivered by Polish dissident Czesław Miłosz in 1980: “In a room where people unanimously maintain a conspiracy of silence, one word of truth sounds like a pistol shot.” Our government hasn’t yet devolved into the kind of totalitarian regime under which Poland groaned at that time, but there is a conspiracy of silence surrounding the skullduggery that led to the Russia collusion fraud, and Barr fired that metaphorical pistol on April 10, 2019.

One can always hope that Barr is corrupt Washington's worst nightmare. This is yet to be seen. Except for several leaving their government jobs nothing has happened on the surface. Nobody except those that were spied upon have been fined or gone to jail. Meanwhile Brennan and Clapper have their pulpits in the media to attack anything they see as a threat to themselves and their fellow travelers. I'll bet Brennan and Clapper still have their security clearances and regularly access their sources in the government.

FTA: “There are few things that scare the denizens of D.C. more than an honest man. The only thing they fear more is an honest man who doesn’t give a damn what they think of him. William Barr is their worst nightmare.”
I certainly hope and pray this to be truth because the Republic is hanging by a raveling thread and the democrats, some Republicans, most in the media, entertainment industry and academia are doing their best to deny any wrongdoing and stifle any investigation into what has been a full frontal attack on this President and his administration because he had the audacity to win an election they had rigged in favor of his opponent. Then, when that was unsuccessful, they have been engaged in a coup d'etat to remove a duly elected President. The criminal corruption that has already been exposed must be prosecuted and the seditionists know that AG Barr is their worst nightmare. This may be the hardest test the Republic has had to face since its founding which is can we hold everyone to the same legal standard regardless of their status or will we balk at applying equal justice under the law. God help us if we get this wrong. God speed, AG Barr. The Republic is in your hands.

#2 Apparently the quotations marks are missing, but if you do a web search of the entire passage you cited it turns up in numerous articles as a statement by Brennan.

As AG Barr gets closer to blowing the lid off of the dims' coverup of the spying operation, covert conversations by the dims to eliminate Barr will intensify. Arkanicide knows no bounds. May God continue to protect AG Barr and his family.

Okay, let's just say Barr, "discovers" the coup and releases his findings and all facts, statements, etc regarding the illegal coup to remove a duly elected president and the illegal actions of utterly and totally destroying innocent people's lives in the process. So what? What has happened in the past to these deep state criminals, ALL of these same deep state criminals? Rewards and promotions for them and at best, innocent people's lives ruined with the hopes that one day a duly elected president might pardon the ones who were forced into process crimes (and they still will never be made whole. Just ask Scooter.)
Nope, the only thing Barr will accomplish is two more years of pillow and sheet sales by four talk radio hosts and that's about it. Sorry, my turnip truck wounds healed decades ago.

The "System" will not overtly punish its own. I think as a long time insider, AG Barr knows this fully well. There will be scapegoats. Strzok, McCabe, the Ohr couple come to mind. But these are small potatoes. In my view Comey, Brennan and Clapper as well as Rice and Lynch will escape imprisonment. But we are on uncharted territory, so who knows. The big enchiladas Hillary, Hussein and Jarrett will go scot free. The real punishment is to be inflicted by the people. This will come in form keeping these people away from power. That is up to us the people. And our memories are notoriously short and faulty. Re-elect trump and give him back the House. That is the best we can do. Don't hanker for anything else, you will be disappointed.

What is to be said about the democrat party, its advisors, donors, major media and voters? Here we have a major scandal, possibly the worst ever in our history, perpetrated by the highest officials in government and these people want to sweep it under the rug?

Apparently Catron is very good at what he does. His bio calls him a Health Care Consultant, yet he wishes he were a Clairvoyant when he writes, ''And it’s unclear to me what Mr. Barr is actually going to do.'' Me too, David, me too.

This is a pivotal point in American history. Our country is under attack from several directions: Foreign enemies; illegal immigrant invasion; and deep state traitors. It is a time when great men emerge to change the course of history. I believe that President Donald J. Trump is such a man. Another such man may be AG Barr. We shall see.

My concern is that the first time someone does something outrageous, there is often no law in place to punish them appropriately. It wasn't envisioned that someone would actually DO that. However, the FISA head judge has stated that 85% of the queries from 2012 to 2016 were ILLEGAL. That seems pretty clear. They have been referred for investigation and prosecution. Someone initiated these queries that were mostly against BO's political opponents. Even if it was a contractor that actually did it, someone was supervising them. They didn't do this on a whim and there is NO good reason that justifies it.
This seems like a solid piece of meat that Barr can sink his teeth into. Barr has also mentioned senior leadership so it looks like it's it's not just the worker bees that are in trouble.
We suspect a lot and have good evidence to support our suspicions. But do those suspicions lead to crimes? Can the criminals be fully identified? We will have to see how it plays out. The tone of the reports soonest to come will tell us a lot but Durham will have a lot to say even if the IG doesn't.

Donald Trump (and at the time, Jeff Sessions) has known since before his inauguration (most likely way before) that Obama/Clinton people were engaged in a criminal conspiracy to prevent/derail his candidacy/presidency. Let that sink in. Is it possible that Donald Trump has, for 3 years now, been planning to let them get away with it? Likelihood of that: 0%.

FTA:"This is why Barr is so scary to Washington insiders. He’s an honest man with more
concern for the truth than his popularity inside the Beltway. "
I hope this is true, and so far it seems so.
Praying.
