Attorney General William Barr’s nearly hour-long interview with CBS News’ Jan Crawford last week was full of fascinating details about the special counsel probe, the debunked Russia collusion theory that roiled Washington for years, and Barr’s investigation into how the FBI and Department of Justice used the “bogus” theory to investigate the Trump campaign. The interview was downplayed by the media, which is implicated in perpetuating the Russia hoax Barr is investigating, and which came in for criticism from Barr for its failure to care about violations of civil liberties. Here are the top 28 take-aways from the interview.

Finally!! America has a serious and courageous attorney general who´s unafraid to ruffle feathers if he needs to in order to get to the truth. This is a fascinating article on many levels.

He comes off as the only sane man in the DC power structure other than a few dozen Trump
people. Almost all the media and bureaucrats have gone literally insane.
Thank you, Bill Barr. Keep up the good work.
What a contrast to Sessions.

Our Communist compatriots are shocked that Barr thinks spying on President-elect trump went on.

Wow! Keep this article and check off how Barr runs the investigation to bring justice exactly where it must be applied. There must be no sacred cows. None!

Never understood why President Trump didn't fire Jeff Sessions in his first year as President.

She ask him did he worry about his reputation, he said everyone dies! Great article Mollie! Barr wants to make the JD great again! He reminds me of President Trump. They care more about their country than getting re-elected or appointed .

Amazing! What a class act. Barr does not need this but, feels that he has been called in a time of crises to make things right.
Does anyone know where I can find a video of the full interview. I looked on You Tube yesterday and could not find it.

A two year investigation and we still don't get the real reasons that launched it.

I love his matter of fact delivery. I also prefer his word "bogus" to the use of "hoax." There's nothing playfull about an attempt to overthrow a government.
Perhaps most importantly he has roped the media into the discussion. We have laws against collusion between corporations for price fixing and unfair labor practices because of the interference with free and fair markets. The media can all come out with the exact same talking points using the exact same words at the exact same time with each other and the democrat party propagandists but somehow that's ok?

The leftists' narrative morphed and they themselves appear to be totally unaware of it, as they were with Nixon and Watergate. They went from one thing (Russian 'collusion'/Watergate break-in) to another (Obstruction of Justice/""), all in one fell swoop without the CNN crazies skipping a beat. They are just like the judges at the Salem Witch Trial shocked by the accused claiming their innocence amidst scant evidence is again proof of the crime.
The one who should be brought into our courts are Hillary Clinton, the Podesta brothers, Brennan, Comey, Lynch, Susan Rice, Samantha Powers, and Clapper. Let their squeals be heard by loyal Americans across our great land.

Barr will be about 75 years old in 2024. Still young enough to stand in for President trump as the new President. I really, really like this man. He's a cool fighter.

Slam dunk on the "Resistance" Deep State...Comey, Mueller, Brennan, Hildebeast, Stinky, Jarrett, Powers, Rice, Podesta brothers, et al. and their propaganda accomplices in the drive-by media:
Quoting AG Barr: “[R]epublics have fallen because of Praetorian Guard mentality, where government officials get very arrogant, they identify the national interest with their own political preferences and they feel that anyone who has a different opinion, you know, is somehow an enemy of the state. And you know, there is that tendency that they know better and that, you know, they’re there to protect as guardians of the people. That can easily translate into essentially supervening the will of the majority and getting your own way as a government official.”

We are here and AG Barr is here for one reason and one reason only: Billary, Obie, Soros, the dims, the msm, and the deep state still can't come to grips with the results of the 2016 Presidential election. Their colluding with Russia to build the dossier for destroying Trump failed and they have now run for cover like cockroaches now that Muellie's report was a bust.
All they had to do was lay low after November 2016 and prepare for November 2020. But, they didn't. Billary wanted to destroy the country as punishment for her self-inflicted loss.
AG Barr is a man of steel. His Perry Mason schtick is refreshing and absolutely welcome. Cleaning the swamp of those who helped collude against the President will take time but must be done. What a shame it was that two years were wasted with Sessions who didn't have the stones to investigate and himself ran for cover while Muellie ran his political circus.

Regarding the media: I do not believe the First Amendment protects anyone, or gives them a free pass, to employ malicious speech or actions intended to cause harm-in any form- to a person. The idea that the media is above the law, just because they are the media, must be eliminated.

Strangely America has some unknown ability to have the right person at the right time to get us back on the narrow good path. I believe Barr is one of these earth shaking historical figures.

Thank God for Mollie Hemingway, Sara Carter, Kim Strassel, John Solomon and Catherine Herridge. They are the best of the very few political reporters/investigators who seek and tell the truth.

America has seen many Miracles. Some have been foretold, some not so much. Our Nation was founded on GOD's Rules and the Faith our forefathers had in Him.
As we prayed to Heaven for a fighter to help save US (POTUS DJT), The LORD has seen fit to give US a weapon as well.

I do wish that Barr would drop the “you know’s”. It reminds me too much of Illary and AOC. Barr is far too intelligent to speak that way.

Wow. I hope he can pull this investigation off and nail these people without getting completely stymied by the deep staters (speaking of which, if I had to take exception with anything Bill Barr said in this interview, it would be his praise of FBI Director Wray, who has yet to demonstrate he's anything but a committed deep state toad).
Also, FTA: "Well it’s hard to read some of the texts with and not feel that there was gross bias at work and they’re appalling…. Those were appalling." One assumes he's talking about those between the smarmy Strzok and Lisa Page. It's hard to find more despicable people in this sorry affair than these two, although there are so many despicable characters one is hard pressed to pick a favorite(s).
