Clyburn says he thinks House
will eventually impeach Trump

Original Article

House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) said Sunday he believes President Trump will be impeached "at some point" but that Democrats must first build a case for impeachment. Clyburn, the third-ranking Democrat in House leadership, offered the remarks in an interview with Jake Tapper on CNN's "State of the Union." When Tapper asked Clyburn if he thought Democrats would launch impeachment proceedings against Trump, he said, "Yes, that's exactly what I feel."

Comments:

Feelings… As the average person if they know who James Clyburn is… I rest my case. It is good to know that he knows they must build their case first, although normally that precedes any talk of impeachment doesn’t it?

The Dems have been crying IMPEACHMENT since the election results came in. They have been looking for anything and everything to hang on him since he became President. The zealousness and frenzy guiding the Democrats will lead to foolish mistakes which will make them look like bigger idiots than they already are.

I agree. There's no doubt in my mind the House will eventually move forward with impeachment. What else do they have? Look at the economy, the unemployment rate, the stock market, the disaster on the southern border. As if that weren't enough, look at the pathetic slate of imbeciles running against PDT, starting with the chief buffoon and current front runner, creepy old Joe who sticks his foot in his pie hole every time he opens it. What are they going to run on, the "green new deal"? They know impeachment is the only hope in h*ll they have to win. They probably will even have the votes, but then it has to get past the Senate so go ahead and waste everyone's time and make yourselves look like even bigger idiots...……..if that's possible.

No surprise as the leftist and liberal Democrats would impeach President Trump for wearing the wrong colored socks! The Democrats are starting a dangerous precedent as in the future anytime the President is of one political party and the House of Representatives are controlled by politicians of the opposing political party there will be an attempt to impeach the President in a political attempt to undo the election.

#5, it does not matter to any of them that any actual crime was committed, they just don't want him as POTUS. I'd hate it if any of them, or the millions others like them, would be on a jury trial since they can't reason or set aside their biases. Do you think, maybe, some have been needlessly convicted as a result of millions having their views so cemented in stone? As for the Dems talking about impeachment even before he was elected, I suspect that's because they were clued-in on the "insurance policy" that they believed would get him. They just "knew" he did something because he is just too harsh with his language, and tweets, after all.

But there is no chance that the Senate, which requires 67 votes for conviction (removal) after impeachment will summon anywhere near the votes to remove Trump from office. That ain't happenin'. Former British spy Christopher Steele, the author of the anti-Trump dossier of salacious and unverified claims about the president’s ties to Russia, has agreed to be questioned by investigators from the United States, according to a report in Britain. The Times (UK) cited sources close to Steele on Tuesday in reporting that the 54-year-old is set to be interviewed in London within weeks. The development comes as attention has returned to the dossier authored by Steele -- especially since its more sensational claims were not substantiated by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, whose report found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 election.
