Joe Biden is the Democratic frontrunner for president. The big money donors say so. The pollsters all say so. The 95 percent of the media outlets that are little more than a public relations arm of the Democratic Party say so, too. So where is he? It is a mystery. The former vice president has no other job. Nothing distracts him from getting out (Snip) According to Biden, the 2020 election is a battle for the soul of the nation. One would expect him to focus all his time and energy on the campaign. And yet . . . Biden is virtually invisible.

Comments:

He is old. An old fraud.

"Dr." Jill does look bored. I guess it was more exciting back when she was married to an ex-football player, but dating Jo Biden. Jo even hired her to work in his senate office. She was, after all, a highly qualified reading teacher. And by keeping her close in his office, Jo kept her way from her husband.

The game was supposed to be to drag the scattered and very insane Democratic party gaggle back to the center and back to something that resembles sanity. Biden's weight (his political gravitas) was supposed to counterbalance the weight of the very crazy and unserious party bus of silly people running with a D next to their names. Biden was the only dummy dumb enough to accept that role. Biden knows he is in it just for a short while, only until a few of the absurdity candidates drop out. He is not exactly an "Oxygen Consumer" - and that fact is starting to show. Kamala Harris has more energy in her little finger than Biden has in his whole body. In a month or two the game will have p[roven itself worthless and the money will suddenly dry up, Biden will declare his health or his family more important, and drop out, sending a wobbly endorsement to whichever less-crazy D is on the passenger list and fade off into his retirement. I was going to suggest people should send envelopes with little girl hair clippings for him to wistfully sniff. But, to me, even that seems a bit too creepy. Perhaps horse hair would substitute- I doubt Biden could tell the difference.

When you campaign daily, the press wants you to say new things. Saying new things that are not at least as radical as he positions being staked out by your Democrat opponents would be disappointing to the party's left wing base. Then it would be boring. Then it would appear too "yesterday." At that point Uncle Joe becomes Grandpa. Biden needs to appear just enough to keep him in the news without saying anything stupid. The strategy may work for a year, but not for the duration.

If he's dead, that's no problem. That's been a major Dim constituency for years. His handlers and the Big Money behind him know he's his own worst enemy, and that he has nowhere to go but down. They know he'll never manage to match Trump's energy on the campaign trail. So for as long as they can get away with it, they're keeping him out of sight and trying to rig the primary process.

Former British spy Christopher Steele, the author of the anti-Trump dossier of salacious and unverified claims about the president’s ties to Russia, has agreed to be questioned by investigators from the United States, according to a report in Britain. The Times (UK) cited sources close to Steele on Tuesday in reporting that the 54-year-old is set to be interviewed in London within weeks. The development comes as attention has returned to the dossier authored by Steele -- especially since its more sensational claims were not substantiated by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, whose report found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 election.
