Ocasio-Cortez Stepped On A Rake Trying To Slam A Reporter For
Tweeting About Warren’s Legal Career

Original Article

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) ate it last week. No, it wasn’t about the Green New Deal, which is a recipe for economic disaster; it was a poorly executed counterattack against…the media. Yep, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is running for the Democratic nomination in 2020, so your whole life goes under the microscope. Y’all know the drill. It so happens that she had quite the legal career as well, charging $675/hour and worked on over 50 legal cases. CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski simply tweeted about this dot on Warren’s resume, which AOC thought was an attack, pulled the trigger, but got face-full of buckshot instead.

AOC may be the worst elected member of congress we have witnessed for a long time, but dang she sure is entertaining. Like Pavlov's dog in the laboratory, she just doesn't know when to quit hurting herself. She and her fellow newbies are going to be a big part of Pelosi's legacy of failure whether Nancy likes it or not.

Sorry Matt, but the statement that if you run for the Democrat nomination, (they're not democratic) your life goes under a microscope is plain BS. Maybe if you're a conservative, but never a democrat, or we'd have known a a lot more about the Kenyan.

I have a friend who is a top-notch corporate bankruptcy lawyer; has worked on some of the major cases. He reminds me that the laws are written that the first folks paid in bankruptcy are the lawyers. He has worked with Senator Warren on some of his cases and I can guarantee you that they weren't representing the poor widows and orphans but the hundreds-of-dollars-an-hour corporate clients. Nothing wrong with that (although my friend, like Ms. Warren, is a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat), and he has done very well for a poor boy living in an apartment over stores on main street in our home town. But don't give me that I was working for the little people shtick.

Trump: Whoever kept USS John McCain

President Donald Trump insisted Thursday he had nothing to do with keeping the USS John S. McCain hidden from the site of his weekend speech in Japan. He said whoever had done so was “well-meaning.” “I wasn’t involved. I would not have done that. I was very angry with John McCain because he killed health care,” Trump said, referring to the late senator’s deciding vote that killed a Senate GOP bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act. “I was not a big fan of John McCain in any way, shape or form,” Trump continued in comments to reporters on the South Lawn of the White House.

So, Robert Mueller is gone. Poof…into the wind he goes. After two years, he finally concluded that there was no collusion and reiterated his position on obstruction, though he gave the entire Democratic Party a massive smoke signal to push for impeachment on that front. It’s it new. Meh. Not really. Since 2019 the Democrats have been slowly building up towards impeachment proceedings. Heck, Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), his posse, and his politically motivated subpoenas over Trump’s taxes and bank records are all but a massive game of impeachment bingo. The Democrats are throwing up whatever against the wall and sees what sticks,

Last November, the American people overwhelmingly elected a new majority in the House of Representatives, giving Democrats the power to impeach President Donald J. Trump — if it was warranted. But Wednesday, special counsel Robert Mueller publicly reiterated what his report already made clear: that “if we had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said that.” Put another way, Mueller noted that despite what Trump might think or tweet, he was not an exonerated man. Democrats have a version of the report, and they have Mueller’s clear interpretation of the facts in it. And what ha

Robert Mueller has advised Americans to go back and actually read his report if we want to understand what happened in 2016. “We chose those words carefully, and the work speaks for itself,” he said on Wednesday morning, speaking publicly for the first time since his appointment. But the words of the report are damning. “The Russian government interfered in the 2016 presidential election in sweeping and systematic fashion,” Mueller wrote. This help “favored presidential candidate Donald J. Trump and disparaged presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.”

Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller’s swan song illustrates nothing so much as the constitutional illogic of having a special prosecutor set up to investigate the president in the first place. Mr. Mueller sought to create the impression that he was doing everything by the book. He was, though, playing against Washington, Madison, Adams, and the other Framers of the Constitution. So it ended in checkmate.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced he was running for president on May 16. He must have done some focus-group testing to show that he had a chance at the Democratic nomination, but people in his own state — in the city where he is mayor, even — don’t seem to think he would be a good president. Shortly after he announced, MSNBC posted a video of New York City residents bashing their mayor. Now comes New York Magazine’s Eve Peyser, who tried to find someone, anyone, who supported him for president. Peyser started by casting a wide net.

He’s dominating in the polls, his fundraising is going gangbusters and he’s showing broad support from key political players in the early presidential states. So where are the big energetic crowds, the lines around the block to get into Joe Biden’s events? The question is no small matter in a party still recovering from a bitter 2016 defeat — a loss marked by a lack of enthusiasm for an establishment nominee in several critical states. Attendance at the former vice president’s launch rally paled next to some of his rivals. In his first Iowa visit, he didn’t match the crowds that greeted

President Trump may be guilty of many things, but a coverup in the Mueller probe isn’t one of them. Speaker Nancy Pelosi, attempting to appease forces in the Democratic Party eager for impeachment, is accusing him of one, with all the familiar Watergate connotations. The charge is strange, not to say incomprehensible, in light of the fact that Congress is in possession of a 448-page report produced by the Trump Department of Justice cataloguing the alleged obstruction that Congress now wants to investigate.

In February 2018, the House Intelligence Committee released the so-called Nunes memo. In four pages, the document, from the committee's then-chairman Rep. Devin Nunes, revealed much of what the public knows today about the FBI's reliance on the Steele dossier in pursuing since-discredited allegations that the Trump campaign and Russia conspired to fix the 2016 election. Specifically, it revealed that the FBI included unverified material from the dossier in applications to a secret spy court to win a warrant to wiretap Trump foreign policy volunteer adviser Carter Page.

We did not, however, make a determination as to whether the president did commit a crime. It is not the job of prosecutors to state that a suspect “clearly did not commit a crime,”

It is tempting for normal people to ignore our president when he starts ranting about treason and corruption at the FBI. I understand the temptation. I’m the object of many of his rants, and even I try to ignore him. But we shouldn’t, because millions of good people believe what a president of the United States says. In normal times, that’s healthy. But not now, when the president is a liar who doesn’t care what damage he does to vital institutions. We must call out his lies that the FBI was corrupt and committed treason, that we spied on the Trump campaign and tried to defeat Donald Trump.

The report focuses on witnesses of so-called "Tic Tacs," but other shapes and sizes of UFOs have also been credibly recorded by the U.S., British, Chinese, Russian, and other governments for the past 65 years.
