For a normal person, finding out that you're not being charged with criminal conspiracy with a foreign government would be great enough news. But to find out that your former mistress's attorney is facing criminal charges from two separate U.S. attorneys for two separate sets of crimes? That's just raw, unadulterated schadenfreude for the president of the United States. Part-time #Resistance hero and full-time Trump foe Michael Avenatti finally graduated from media grifting and refusing to pay back creditors to big boy crimes, and he now faces upwards of a century in the clinker. A U.S. attorney's office in California has charged Avenatti

CNN's Brian Stelter was in the group of Avenatti for president boosters. I hope he's pleased with himself. Where will he find another job when CNN floats to the surface, eyes glazed, and bobs gently there?

He will only be the first of the 2020 Presidential contenders to face legal troubles and jail. It seems as if there is so much there to prosecute. Hopefully they will go back and get the 2016 Presidential candidates also.

The MSM loved the idea of putting another sleazy lawyer into the White House but Avenatti imploded before their worshiping eyes. The talk shows couldn't get enough of him and the donors began opening their wallets but the Ferrari-driving playboy could not help himself. Greed got the best of him just like it did the Obama's and will do with Bernie as he eloquently attempts to explain how he went from a house with a dirt floor and an old Volkswagen to three ostentatious homes and millionaire status after entering government, a long distance away from the sacred teachings of Karl Marx unless you are already a senior apparatchik.

The liberal Democrat Party allied media was just doing what the have been doing since President Trump was elected anytime an anti-Trump personality comes along who they can use in their 24/7 attempts to embarrass Trump. In this instance they attempted to elevate an obvious gutter level lawyer to a national figure who the liberal media openly touted as being a future President. Those media efforts were stupid, and have evidenced that the liberal media are a gaggle of fools.

How is it that the rest of us saw right through this sleazeball and yet the likes of Joy Behar and the View gals not to mention all of CNN and MSNBC thought he was the second coming? Makes you wonder doesn't it? What drugs are these people on? Who is this stupid? And how is it that they are in charge of major networks that are suppose to disseminate our news? This is not only pathetic it is dangerous to have these lowlife nitwits in charge of anything.

Are reports that migrant sea deaths are down due to Italy's closure of ports to African refugees good or bad news? "Migrant sea deaths in the Mediterranean have dropped to the lowest levels in years, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) reported Saturday." This mirrors the experience of Australia. "The Rudd government’s dismantling of the Howard government’s successful border protection policies directly resulted in .... at least 1200 people (including hundreds of children) perished at sea." The numbers dropped sharply after border controls were re-established. Then prime minister Tony Abbott "told European leaders to simply 'stop the boats' flooding to Italy from Libya

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she's praying for the president. Well, so am I, the difference being that I really am, whereas she's cynically pretending to, to show her mock concern over his mental state. Pelosi, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and the rest of the congressional Democratic cabal have treated President Trump abominably, and it's getting old. Do they assume Americans have endless patience for their ongoing investigation charade? Consider the latest brouhaha between Trump and the Democratic leaders. They were scheduled to meet at the White House on a $2 trillion infrastructure plan when Pelosi decided to poison the punch

As Heritage Foundation President Kay Coles James has written, "The federal budget is at the core of our political system. Everything the federal government does, from taxing, to regulating, to providing services, to protecting our very freedoms, it does through the federal budget." Liberals might dismiss the foundation's "Blueprint for Balance: A Federal Budget for Fiscal 2020," but they shouldn't. The document is based on verifiable facts. If implemented, Heritage claims, it would save trillions of dollars compared to projections by the Congressional Budget Office and produce a budget surplus by 2025. Everyone knows "entitlements" are the main drivers of debt

Senior author Dr. Jay Lehr had the privilege of leading one of these societies long ago. But things are different now. Whether it be chemistry, physics, geology or engineering, many of the world’s primary professional societies have changed from being paragons of technical virtue to opportunistic groups focused on maximizing their members' financial gains in support of the climate scare, the world’s greatest science fraud.

This video was in the New York Post. I saw it at Althouse. It shows a shooting of a suspect by a police officer in San Diego last year. The police officer is being approached on a street by a man who swings a four-foot chain. The officer tries to get the man to drop the chain. Ann’s comment is apt: “[I]t’s astounding how long the cop walks backward, warning the man that he will get shot.” The suspect says a couple of times, “Trump is the devil.” The officer tried to tase him, but the taser missed. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue announced that the Trump administration would give an additional $16 billion in aid to America's farmers hurt by the trade war with China. Farmers have been particularly hurt by Chinese retaliatory tariffs, and with more retaliation on the way, Trump decided to get out ahead of the problem and try to shield farmers from the worst effects of the trade war. WASHINGTON — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi openly questioned President Donald Trump’s fitness to remain in office Thursday, suggesting a family or staff “intervention” for the good of the nation after his dramatic blow-up at a White House meeting with Democrats. Technology can be a beautiful thing. But in the matter of who wields it, it can be vital to distinguish friend from foe. The late historian Samuel Eliot Morison, in his classic 15-volume naval history of World War II, bequeathed us a "grimly humorous" anecdote from the aftermath of the 1942 Doolittle Raid on Japan -- in which, in order to surprise Japan with a retaliatory bombing less than five months after Pearl Harbor, two U.S. aircraft carriers, the Hornet and the Enterprise, sailed much closer to Japanese waters than Tokyo was expecting. After U.S. bombers took off from the deck of the Hornet,

Gay representation has certainly come a long way from Patrick Stewart and Steven Weber in the classic 1995 gay film, “Jeffrey.” That same year, Patrick Swayze, John Leguizamo, and Wesley Snipes shocked audiences with their hilarious and stunningly relatable performances as urban drag queens taking a long road trip across middle America in “To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar.” And of course, who could forget Robin William’s heartfelt comedy performance in “The Birdcage”the following year?
