Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said tornadoes are the latest climate change threat after a tornado warning was issued for Washington, D.C.
“There's people stuck outside. We need to get them out,” the New York Democrat said Thursday in an Instagram video after the city was placed under a tornado warning. “This is crazy.” [video]
After her brief video, Ocasio-Cortez discussed how tornadoes were part of the threat of climate change.
“The climate crisis is real y’all,” she said. “Guess we’re at casual tornadoes in growing regions of the country?”

Yep, there were never any tornadoes before there were SUVs and coal burning power plants.

The Random Hurricanes that are coming are really going to upset her. People stuck outside? What is that all about? The only people outside are those in trucks full of cameras that actually chase the tornadoes.

Go easy on Alex from the Bronx. She is still learning how to work a garbage disposal and planting yuca in her garden. Her education at Boston U did not have courses in Tornadoes.

OMG I am at a loss for words but I will try to find something to describe : nitwit, dumber than dirt, rock stupid, help me here folks. I am laughing so hard at this that it is hard to come up with adequate phrases. You really cannot make up this level of imbecile. She takes the IQ off the charts into negative territory and makes "braindead" seem an inadequate term.

Oh no! Drop your third grade books, Mini AOC, you’ve got
another skit to do. Explain how casual tornadoes are different
from traditional, more formal tornadoes and why we don’t like
them as much.

Occasional Cortez pontificates again...what a dumb azz....maybe, instead of blaming the non existant climate change for everything, she should read 'The Harbinger' for the real reason....

The sad thing is, her words resonate with a portion of dems who are as wacky as she is. She is simply a big mouthed twit.

She is the gift that keeps on giving but unfortunately the message is stale and spoiled. The only entertainment value now is looking forward to the nest Mini Me AOC video. Really, are her constituents so stupid and ignorant to keep supporting her like the balance of the other dim-o-crats? Boston U needs to rescind here diploma if they want to keep their accreditation.

I agree with other posters about "y'all". I have no problem with people from the south using this word but when I see it now, I cringe. I realize I'm getting older and stupid things tick me off. I think it's meant to sound cool but it just sound stupid and lazy. I believe it started with moochelle which only makes me hate it more.
Fun fact, we had our first tornado Wednesday night. I woke up as the rain was coming in the windows and I briefly considered going to the basement but fell back asleep before I could decide. My neighbors barn roof is torn 3/4 off and he has a metal roof and he's convinced it was a twister.

Since when does a Puerto Rican from The Bronx say ”ya’ll”? Reminds me of Illary’s “ain’t no ways tarred” and Biden’s “they're gonna put y’all back in chains” BS. The left is truly shameless. As a Southerner, I find it offensive and insulting. But then, I’m a conservative so I have no right to be offended or insulted - those are rights reserved only for the left.

Bless her stupid little heart.
And bless her alma mater, the once-respected Boston University, whose ivy wilts a bit with every bit of exposure she gets.

Just for fun let's tell her all the States that give name to Tornado Alley and emphasize that the highest percentage of tornadoes are unscheduled there.
We'd see an unforgettable video of her "educating" this concurring knowledge.

If she ever gets dementia the diagnosis will depend on something like a blood test; because nobody will ever be able to spot in her the steep decline in mental function that is the more common telltale symptom....

It's clear from her tweets and statements that, until she ran for public office, she never, and I mean never, paid attention to anything going on outside of her bar and taco diner where she worked and provided "expert" advice on life and its mysteries.

Wait until AOC goes to Australia and finds out tornadoes spin the other way and instead of blowing houses apart, the tornadoes puts them together.

Chica needs a road trip to see some tornado damage, then head on down to the border for an up close and personal. Who is paying for her publicity ? Arrest them.

"Casual" tornadoes, as opposed to "FORMAL" tornadoes??? And why do the weather forecasters think that tornadoes are a recent phenomenon?? They've been around for millenia!!
