Pelosi’s Impeachment Dilemma

Original Article

The progressives in her party are lining up to demand an impeachment spectacle. They hail from uber-liberal districts, their constituents want Trump’s scalp, and they fear inaction will earn them a primary challenge. Even Mrs. Pelosi’s wingmen—those who’ve had her fake-impeachment back—are starting to break. The Washington Post reports that Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler is arguing for a formal impeachment inquiry, as are “five members of Pelosi’s leadership team.”

Here are the missing paragraphs; Outline begins with the third. These are the first two in Kim's article: It wasn’t with a heavy heart that Virginia Democratic Rep. Don Beyer on Tuesday endorsed initiating formal impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump. And it was with unvoiced alarm that his fellow Virginia Democrat Rep. Abigail Spanberger ran from the impeachment question the same day. Speaker Nancy Pelosi has a wicked impeachment dilemma, and Virginia captures it perfectly. It’s been one month since Congress got its hands on the Mueller report, and Mrs. Pelosi has spent that time scrambling to balance competing demands in her caucus. Her approach—call it pseudo-impeachment—has involved accusing the president of all things impeachable (to appease the left) while not engaging in a real impeachment process (to appease moderates). That strategy is now hitting a wall.

When Pelosi was speaking yesterday her speech sounded like she might have had a small stroke. The Democrat's are tearing her apart.

This is good but what about Pelosi's biggest dilemma: respecting her biological clock.

I think the democrats missed the boat on impeachment. Now that President Trump has ordered declassification of documents- going back as far as 2009- some of the democrat leadership are going to have problems that will make them forget impeachment! We are in for a fascinating show, between now and 2020!

The mistake that most of the dims make and the MSM vultures also believe is that the people who are screaming for impeachment actually believe that the President has committed impeachable offenses. That is not true. The ones with half a brain know that the charges are being made out of personal hatred and it's about the only way that they can bring Donald Trump down now that Russia Russia has backfired and the actual guilty parties are in the crosshairs. Pelosi knows this and if charges are formally made then it is up to her to bring the fight forward. She knows that she can't do it before the 2020 election, which is why she backed off earlier and what's left of her brain is malfunctioning. It sucks to be them.

Rep Beyer's district in Northern Virginia - full of federal bureaucrats who have probably been doing everything they can to obstruct President Trump's agenda at their respective federal agencies. A pox on all of them.

"Then again, where did Mrs. Pelosi think all her rabble-rousing was headed?" The reason Pelousy felt she could rabble rouse with impunity is because that's what dems always do and they have paid no price for it except at the ballot box. Dems fake it up. The media stands at their side. BO did this all throughout his presidency. Every time there was a racial issue, he jumped on it and distorted it as proved later. The dems even do this with the hard Left. They make promises and never deliver. The problem is, BO told the Left they deserved to get what they wanted. Now they are demanding action, even very stupid action. Dems created these monsters and their "off switch" is no longer working.

Nancy’s party has gotten away from her because she's not up to the job. She likely never was. When Dubya was President, Nancy was able to run congress like it was the middle school mean girls’ club because W wouldn’t say crap if he had a cheek-bulging mouthful. But this time around, Donald Trump is President and Karl Rove isn’t pulling the strings.

WASHINGTON—House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D., Calif.) said the Justice Department had agreed to turn over 12 categories of counterintelligence and foreign intelligence materials connected to special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation. Mr. Schiff said Wednesday that the Justice Department had agreed to turn over the documents on a rolling basis, to be completed by the end of next week. He also postponed a committee meeting, but said the panel remained ready to enforce its subpoena for the full report and underlying documents. Mr. Schiff had set Wednesday as a deadline for the Justice Department to cooperate.

There are now 23 candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination with New York’s mayor jumping in. The unveiling of the spies and tactics behind the fake collusion tale continues apace. It looks as though Mueller will testify before Congress on the 12th of Never and the impeachment train will never leave the station. Inspector General Horowitz’s reports on Comey and another on charges of illegal conduct in the DoJ and FBI are due soon, though, as usual, seem to be a long time aborning. General Flynn’s sentencing hearing should come soon.

Better late than never: Attorney General William Barr has tasked U.S. Attorney John Durham to investigate the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation. If the Justice Department had done this two years ago, the country would be in a much better place. Mr. Barr has made clear that he intends to restore his department’s credibility. The Durham appointment is a perfect example of that effort. This is how Justice ought to operate, from the nature of the probe to the choice of prosecutor. It’s a striking contrast to the hash that became of the Mueller investigation. Mr. Barr gets credit for

Steve Blass spent his boyhood afternoons in Connecticut flinging a rubber ball against the side of a half-barn, fantasizing that he was pitching in the majors. Come evening, the 10-year-old would get his radio and tune into a game, delighted when Mel Allen’s voice crackled from the transistor. “When I thought ‘baseball,’ I thought about Mel Allen,” said Blass, now a Pittsburgh Pirates announcer. “When I thought ‘Mel Allen,’ I thought about baseball.” More than in any other sport, baseball broadcasters become an inseparable part of the game they describe.

President Donald Trump's order to declassify documents explaining the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation is "all nonsense," Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), the chairman of the House intelligence committee, told MSNBC's Rachel Maddow Thursday night. Nadler said there's no "basis" to examine the origins of the FBI's Trump-Russia investigation. He called it an "imaginary scandal." (Video) Maddow asked Nadler for his reaction to the breaking news that Trump has issued an executive order directing the intelligence community to "quickly and fully cooperate with the Attorney General's investigation

Classic films now face the wrath of perpetually enraged social justice warriors. Last weekend’s "Watters World" on Fox News Channel analyzed the impact of this politically correct phenomenon. Exhibit A was Mel Brooks’ “Blazing Saddles,” the single funniest motion picture ever committed to celluloid. Jesse Watters’ guest, Cathy Areu, publisher of Catalina Magazine, responded to a clip of the comedy-Western in which Brooks himself portrays a Yiddish speaking American Indian chief. After securing safe passage for a family of black pioneers rolling West in their stagecoach, the feather-headdress-clad Indian bids them, “auf wiedersehen.”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said tornadoes are the latest climate change threat after a tornado warning was issued for Washington, D.C. “There's people stuck outside. We need to get them out,” the New York Democrat said Thursday in an Instagram video after the city was placed under a tornado warning. “This is crazy.” [video] After her brief video, Ocasio-Cortez discussed how tornadoes were part of the threat of climate change. “The climate crisis is real y’all,” she said. “Guess we’re at casual tornadoes in growing regions of the country?”

Heads are exploding all over the beltway, as the unraveling of the biggest political scandal in American history enters a new stage. Make no mistake, there is a plan and a timetable designed for maximum dramatic impact. President Trump finally has taken the long-awaited step to lift the cloak of classification and uncover the weaponization of the federal government’s law enforcement and intelligence agencies against his candidacy and then presidency. (snip) Barr almost certainly has seen or will see the IG Report before it is released. He can declassify information that the IG Report needs to reveal, even before the report is released.

Bill Weld conceded in an interview this week that Republican voters have little appetite for his insurgent primary bid to block President Trump from renomination in 2020. The former Massachusetts governor did not dispute Trump’s high approval ratings with self-identified Republicans, nor claim a silent groundswell for his long shot campaign. But Weld predicted Trump would grow vulnerable to a primary challenge in the months ahead, insisting his campaign was a key element in softening the political support the president enjoys inside the GOP.

Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez suggested the tornado warning that hit the D.C. area Thursday was part of the “climate crisis” she has previously said humanity only has 12 years left to solve. “The climate crisis is real y’all,” Ocasio said on Instagram Thursday, “guess we’re at casual tornadoes in growing regions of the country?” However, she was quickly fact-checked by meteorologist Ryan Maue, who pointed out that far from proof of a “climate crisis,” D.C.’s tornado warning was “just the weather.”

Dan Zadra once wrote, “worry is a misuse of the imagination.” In January of this year, after coming across a particularly worrying piece in the Atlantic, I misused my imagination. Sorry, Mr. Zadra. Titled “Young Trans Children Know Who They Are,” the piece focused on transgender children — those of whom identify as a different gender from the one they were assigned at birth. Ed Yang, the author of the piece, argues that, from an early age, children already have a strong sense of identity. He contends that some children as young as three already have a strong sense of their identity. If a three-year-old boy tells his parents

Imagine, for a moment, what the political reaction would be if a leading Republican senator met with an antagonistic foreign power, say Russia, in the midst of high-tension standoff between President Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin? Such a scenario seems nearly inconceivable. Yet, it’s exactly the situation Sen. Dianne Feinstein created when hosting Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif for dinner a few weeks ago. Politico reported on the meeting, noting that it was “a bit unusual” for a former chair of the Intelligence Committee and a member of the Senate minority to dine out with the acting foreign minister of an adversary of the United States. And by “unusual,”
