Human beings will die without oxygen. Yet breathing pure oxygen will kill you as certainly as taking strychnine or cyanide. Someone should remind Grand Rapids, Michigan’s Congressman Justin Amash of this – and maybe his voters. In a series of tweets on Saturday, Amash declared that “Contrary to Barr’s portrayal, Mueller’s report reveals that President Trump engaged in specific actions and a pattern of behavior that meet the threshold for impeachment.”

I made it as far as " charisma-challenged " Mike Pence. The writer hasn't met or talked to Mike Pence. If ever there was a man who looks, sounds and acts presidential , it is our Vice President. I would suggest that anyone who agrees with Thomas McCardle ,needs to google the our vice president's speech on the constitution to the Hillsdale graduation a few years ago. Working quietly and loyally beside president Trump does not relegate this fine man to the rank of 'charisma-challenged". He has served in the U S House, two terms of governor on Indiana and hosted the most popular radio talk show in the state . But yeah, we know he's just TOO religious.

How dare these morons who claim to represent the people of America cry to impeach Trump whose every legal and effective action has been criticized since before he took office. Russia Russia does not exist except in the minds of the FBI and the CIA because Hillary and Barack put it there. A President who has evil intentions does not work double time to make America great. But - one can also reasonably suspect that Organized Crime(D), uh I mean well-intentioned Democrats, have used mafia-style tactics on said Republican and/or his family in order to "change his mind". Sundance exposed recently that Amash is beholden via his company to China and all that means. So Amash isn't liking the tariffs. Maybe Amash should walk his talk about his company selling products actually made in America. That would stop the problems with tariffs. But then again, his district borders Tlaib's, and we have seen how that is working out. Way to go Michigan.

In my dream world when someone accuses the President of the United States of high crimes and misdemeanors it is incumbent on them to state the crimes. Failure to do so has all the intellectual honesty of simply stating orange man bad. So what should Trump be impeached for, having been spied on, having been slandered and impeded by proven lie, having been investigated for a known lie foisted by his political opponent? Or for being boisterous, arrogant, dumping his wife for an upgrade? You ready for that criteria for impeachment?

The nine-page complaint regarding President Trump’s July phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky from a, so far, anonymous CIA “whistleblower” is like something from Hollywood’s favorite conspiracy-peddling director. Investigative journalist Gerald Posner, author of the book on the John F. Kennedy assassination, 1993’s 600-plus page Case Closed, has called sensationalist left-wing moviemaker Oliver Stone a “master filmmaker … but just a terrible historian,” declaring that “the only thing he gets right in ‘JFK’ is the date on which Kennedy is killed.” Oddly enough, Stone, who seldom meets a far-fetched plot he doesn’t fall in love with,

There’s something sick in America’s abortion industry. What else would account for a doctor who collected thousands of dead babies in some kind of twisted hobby that he hid from his allegedly unsuspecting wife? Two thousand two hundred and forty-six fetuses were found “medically preserved” in Ulrich Klopfer’s garage last week after he died on Sept. 3. And now the attorneys general of Illinois and Indiana are investigating how the human remains got from Klopfer’s network of Indiana abortion clinics to his rural Illinois home and what laws might have been violated. Klopfer isn’t the only abortionist to enjoy keeping trophies of his grisly work close at hand.

Late-night talk show host Steven Colbert had Sen. She can’t answer honestly, if she wants to have any hope of being president. Nor can any of the other Democrats running president be honest about their agendas. That’s made clear by a recent Harvard/Harris Poll, the results of which got far too little attention.

On Sunday morning, I pulled out the Sunday Review section of The New York Times. It was by Times staffers Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly, authors of the forthcoming book "The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation," from which this essay was adapted. After reading it, I thought the essay was missing something important. The first 10 paragraphs were devoted mostly to Deborah Ramirez, who went to Yale when Kavanaugh was a student there, and also to Christine Blasey Ford,

“When it comes time to hang the capitalists, they will vie with each other for the rope contract.” Attributed to Vladimir Lenin. Lenin may or may not have said exactly that (there’s a more boring version in his writings). But the prediction was a little off anyway. We capitalists aren’t selling the rope. We’re buying it — literally — only from the Communist Chinese. For the record, according to the United Nations, China exported $237 million in rope-type products 2017. The U.S. imported $91 million of those goods. American rope output imported by China: $1.09 million. Our mutual trade posture writ small.

But if that’s so, he’s failing miserably at all those things they accuse him of. A spate of recent data and reports, including an update of the income and poverty statistics by the U.S. Census Bureau for 2017 and 2018, show just how bad that failure is. Take that “racist” charge. The Census report shows that black unemployment, at 5.5% in August, is the lowest it’s been since records started being kept in 1972.
