Eric Swalwell's shocking financial disclosure

Original Article

Posted By: DVC, 5/20/2019 11:25:35 PM

I believe that the technical psychiatric term for Rep. Eric Swalwell is "hot mess." Or at least it should be. After having been exposed as a liar about the "evidence" he claimed to have seen that President Trump is a traitor in league with Russia, Swalwell declared himself a candidate for president. Clearly, he has no chance, but at least one could justify it as a fundraising ploy appealing to the nutso faction of the Democrats, a significant constituency among the Donkeys.

Comments:

This lying, loud mouthed jerk is also a walking financial disaster. He has between $25-65K debt on two credit cards. No savings or checking account, has not paid on his student loans, and cashed out his pension plan. Total idiot, living far beyond his means.

This low life is a financial disaster. Makes perfect sense why he chose politics as a career. He can milk the system, and become financially independent with taxpayer's money.

Shaking my head and laughing. I bet Trump is doing the same thing. I am especially stung by the fact he hasn't paid his student loan. I'll be thinking that everytime he comes on tv.

I think Swallows-well has 'daddy issues' too. His father is a police officer and Republican. The little boy is still rebelling against mommy & daddy.

One step away from bankruptcy. This clown could give Obama a run for his money in spending once he gets his hands on the key to the Treasury. Probably in the romance department too.

I knew a guy almost exactly like this years ago. Young, good looking, had it all, but was a big time compulsive spender, sociopathic liar etc etc. He was always barely one step ahead of American Express collections and conned his girlfriends into paying his bills after which he would dump them on some flimsy excuse......Swalwell didn't get into this because he cares about the country at all; he's looking for the public payday.

Political scientist Edward Banfield, author of The Unheavenly City (1971) and The Unheavenly City Revisited (1990), defined upper and lower class people by their orientation toward either the future, or, radically, toward the present. Low class people demand instant gratification and have little thought for the future. Swallwell is among the lowest of the low class. He will come to a bad end, and he is doing it to himself. Total idiot, complete loser. Probably needs institutionalization for his own good. In both his political philosophy and in his personal life, liberty just doesn't agree with him; it's incompatible with his lifestyle. He needs constant supervision. Tranquilizers and a financial conservator might do him some good.

The Royal Navy is too small to counter the potential threat from Iran, the defence minister has admitted. Tobias Ellwood told The Times: “The threats we’re facing are changing in front of us, the world is getting more complex. If we are wanting to continue to play this influential role on the international stage it will require further funding for our armed forces, not least the Royal Navy. Our Royal Navy is too small to manage our interests across the globe.” The news comes after it emerged that Tehran had ignored warnings from a British warship against seizing a UK-flagged tanker in the Gulf. The Stena Impero and her 23-strong crew

CNN is suffering a credibility crisis as viewership for the once-proud network continues to crater with no apparent plan in place to fix things anytime soon, according to media watchdogs and insiders. CNN’s audience shriveled in the second quarter of 2019, averaging only 541,000 total viewers, less than half Fox News Channel’s 1.3 million average. But CNN struggled even more during the primetime hours of 8-11 p.m. ET, finishing as the fifteenth most-watched network on basic cable behind networks such as TLC, Investigation Discovery and the Hallmark Channel. CNN averaged a dismal 761,000 primetime viewers while FNC averaged 2.4 million.

Britain’s ambassador to the United States resigned Wednesday, just days after diplomatic cables criticizing President Donald Trump caused embarrassment to two countries that often celebrate having a “special relationship.” The resignation of Kim Darroch came a day after Trump lashed out at him on Twitter describing him as “wacky” and a “pompous fool” after leaked documents revealed the envoy’s dim view of Trump’s administration. “I am grateful to all those in the UK and the US, who have offered their support during this difficult few days,”

Fox News' Geraldo Rivera defended President Trump's Fourth of July parade plans saying that the only reason anyone opposed the celebration is their "hatred" for the president. When you see how Republicans feel about the country right now according to the surveys and the way that Democrats feel about the country now according to the surveys. It is amazing," Rivera told guest host Dan Bongino on "Hannity." "People on the left hates our president so much that they are willing to just put a negative spin on anything.

A U.S. high-altitude drone was shot down Thursday by an Iranian surface-to-air missile over the Strait of Hormuz amid heightened tensions in the region after last week’s attacks on two oil tankers, a source told Fox News. The U.S. Navy’s MQ-4C drone, , which has the same wingspan as a Boeing 737, was over international airspace at the time and about 17 miles from Iran, the source said. Capt. Bill Urban, a U.S. Central Command spokesman, declined to comment on the reported attack when reached by the AP, but he said no drone was over Iranian territory. IRNA news agency, the country’s state-run news arm, identified the drone as an RQ-4

When assembling a cabal, prudence dictates that one choose the participants with an eye toward circumspection. After all, a loudmouth is not the best repository for your darkest secrets. President Barack Obama may be about to learn that lesson the hard way. In 2010, following the roughshod passage of Obamacare, the American people during the midterm elections unambiguously expressed their disgust with high-handed government edicts. A furious populace handed a solid House majority to Republican leadership, who promptly squandered the opportunity, never missing a chance to stand down, pledging unconvincingly to "fight on the next one."

If I have to choose between sneaky radical leftists who pretend to be small-d democratic activists and honest ones who admit they would stop at nothing in punishing people like me should they gain power, I would always choose the honest ones. Like radical jihadists, they believe that their cause is so righteous that opposition is immoral, and the evil people who oppose them deserve no constitutional protections once they are in power. In fact, the Constitution itself is an obsolete document, written by evil white slave-owners, and a hindrance to the utopia they believe is in reach if only we submit to their command.

The experts, four psychiatrists and one clinical psychologist, presented their positions alongside a mental health analysis of special counsel Robert Mueller's 448-page report, in which they concluded Trump does not have the sound mental capacity to function in his role as president. Dr. James Merikangas, a psychiatrist from George Washington University, said the chanting at Trump's rallies were reminiscent of "Nuremberg rallies that Adolf Hilter had."

The $25 million damages judgment plus the over $6.5 million attorney’s fees and expenses award, puts Oberlin College almost $32 million in debt to Gibson’s Bakery and its owners. Post-judgment interest in Ohio is 5%, which if my math is correct, on $32 million equals $1.6 million a year just in interest, or $4,384 per day. So that $32 million is going to keep growing as the inevitable appeal winds its way through the courts. Interest aside, Oberlin College doesn’t want Gibson’s Bakery to start collecting the judgment by seizing bank accounts, college equipment, and anything else they can get their hands on. Not surprisingly, Oberlin College
