Boy howdy, Maria Bartiromo has the big picture of the 2015/2016 political weaponization of the intelligence apparatus exactly right. In this interesting interview with Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham both Bartriromo and Graham discuss the scale and scope of the 2015/2016 effort to stop Trump. Interestingly, in a shift of tone, Senator Graham outlines what this surveillance operation means when contrast against the structures of our constitutional government. (Video) Traditionally Lindsey Graham would bury any issue adverse to the institutions of the DC administrative state. So there’s two possibilities here: (A) Graham has fundamentally changed his outlook toward the dangers

I, too like what Lindsey Graham has been saying of late, for the most part. We will see if there is any significant action to come from his stated positions, etc. That said, I do and will continue to cast a wary eye in his direction. Swamp critters and leopard´s stripes don´t often change.

We watched the show, "Snowden" last night, and, although made by nutjob Oliver Stone, it did desribe the open-ended surveillance the Obama NSA/CIA had on performing global "dragnets" on people no matter what they were using to communicate on. It also explained how easy it is to migrate from some Turkish muslim millionaire funding islamic terror to any of us in as few as a few hops, thereby allowing them to listen-in on nearly anyone. This is essentially what they did with Carter Page.
The NSA AND the CIA Charter was strictly limited to OUTSIDE the USA, up until Clinton. Then the Feds started welcoming unsavory islamics into the country, bringing their terror-cells with them, and now, as a result, the Feds consider all Americans potential terrorists, worthy of surveillance.
It´s time to take our government BACK to its Constitutional foundations and DEPORT those who made their way into this country through deception and lies.

Graham SEEMS to be changed or changing, but ultimately, I still do not really trust him. He has stabbed us in the back on Open Borders and Amnesty several times and I think ultimately THAT part has not changed at all.

He’s still a grandstander who likes to give the impression he knows everything. A real “insider”. Fine. Rather have him on our side, but a watcher.
The best part of the program was the segment with John Radcliffe (sp?).. He is very frank, very knowledgeable and I am REALLY glad he’s ours...

I am very tired of Senator Graham, who has been on Sunday Morning Futures every week all year, saying he is going to get to the bottom of things. Every Sunday, same thing, nothing new. All talk. Like Trey Gowdy got to the bottom of Benghazi. We got nothing, and we have gotten nothing from Graham but his usual in front of the camera spiel. Mr. Graham, ACTION Sir!

Lindsey has always been all talk no action. This Spygate Drama is like a soap opera. Turn it off for a month, come back and you haven´t missed anything. By autumn nothing will have been done. Any significant action will have to come from AG Barr, so forget Lindsey. He won´t accomplish anything.

If one accepts the existence of the Uniparty, then one wonders on what anyone bases any trust in Republicans or Democrats. It fascinates me when I read the comments that the GOPe is somehow going to rescue America from its Dem-induced ills. How many betrayals must one suffer to get a clue? Why are the Republicans perpetually powerless despite congressional majorities and the White House?
FTA: "When you think about the actual structure of the National Republican Party -vs- the state party machines; it’s enough to make you wonder if the mid-term outcome and lack of structural fight was not part of this dynamic."
The "dynamic" was the Uniparty goal of getting rid of Trump, certainly blocking his re-election. A GOPe-majority House could do nothing, and it is apparent that the passive ´18 campaign had its intended outcome, a Dem majority that could do the dirty work necessary to smear and ultraradiate Trump, his family, his associates and the MAGA agenda. Nadler, Cummings and Schiff are doing their Uniparty masters´ bidding, while McCarthy and McConnell stand by and mumble nonsense.
The build-up will continue to the summer recess, percolate in the media, then bust loose after Labor Day with the plain object to run PDT out of any re-election race. Get ready to see the kitchen sinks fly - this will be the last act of the Uniparty and the Deep State one way or the other.

Lindsey Graham was one of the prosecutors in the Clinton era investigations. I can´t remember his exact title. But he was a firebrand. Really admired him. Then after the election that year he came back like a castrated donkey. No spunk. No hell fire and brimstones. Very surprised. During the Kavanah Senate hearings, I got his mojo back and lambasted the stupids. Ah ha I said. Lindsey is back. Back in form and fire. Admire him.
