AMES, Iowa—The presidential run of Beto O’Rourke is a profoundly personality-driven exercise, his charisma and Kennedy-esque demeanor the topic of one profile after another, so it’s surprising to listen to his speeches on the stump in which he doesn’t talk a whole lot about himself. In Iowa recently, over several days in a rainy, foggy, uncertain stretch of spring, O’Rourke delivered a series of speeches and held question-and-answer sessions in which he spoke at length about unity, civility and inclusivity, and only rarely touched on his personal story. There was one notable exception:

If there is a more boring topic than Beto O´Rourke, I don´t know what it is.

I had to stop reading this at the words “Kennedyesque demeanor.” Will this fawning never end? The description is supposed to be positive but the Kennedy men proved time after time to be low class spoiled brats who are, as a whole, licentious, cruel, selfish, homicidal, reckless, entitled, stupid, adulterous, addicted and perpetually childish frat boys. The term “Kennedy-esque” is an invention of the Hollywood and East Coast Left who covered up for the drunken treasonous and homicidally reckless dim-bulb Ted; an adulterous, drug-addled and sadistic John and an adulterous and scheming Robert. Their progeny underlined the family’s unworthiness. Does anyone truly admire them? Does the infatuation with them survive? Why? And besides, Beto O’Rourke has a profile more like Margaret Hamilton than Robert Kennedy.

This guy is a loser on so many levels. The fact that democrats are trying to elevate him with comparisons to Kennedy is just pathetic.

Watching O´Rourke giving a speech and flapping his arms wildly, I keep thinking that he is gonna break out into an R. Kelly song:
I believe I can fly
I believe I can touch the sky...

If Politico is skewering him, the Dems are done with Robert. Putting their muscle behind ButtBoi now.

No one seems curious about how he supports his family without having a job. Of course we know - the rich daddy-in-law and probably an inheritance. But no - there are no real accomplishments on which to build Betoland.

Waving arms and dancing around critical issues is NOT moving upward, it is the action of a clueless Idiot!

He reminds me of one of those blow up figures they use in front of car dealerships. Flapping his arms as the wind blows.

If Beto had an accomplishment, he would tout it. He doesn´t. All he has is a bought-by- outside-money single digit loss in his home state. It´s a thin resume. And a thinner candidate.

I´ve been to Ames. In the two-hour bus ride from the big city airport to this farm community I noticed straw on the floor of the bus, obviously dropped there by the blue-collar, pasture-walking people who rode it last. They are good solid Americans with all the right values. They will not fall for Beto´s spiel.

This lightweight needs a shot of Ritalin to calm him down. And I´ll bet he´s got a bit of St. Vitus Dance in him too.

Dick Morris wrote a recent article claiming there is significant evidence that o´rourke and his mother were involved in selling drugs in their rural Texas community...where, fortunately for them, they had the political connections to avoid jail time...

Beto´s mad dash up the Peter Principle ladder has ended with his (blinded by ambition) grab for a non-existent mirage resembling the top rung, and now he´s in free fall, over backwards, destined to met the inevitable floor of hard knocks and leave the smallest grease spot in the history of politics.

Lots of conservatives love the Kennedys. Esque and all. As a matter of fact many who love him and quote him are members of this Forum. I´ve never understood it.

Peter Principle: people rise to their area of incompetence. Beto has risen way beyond his area of competence.

As one or two of our LDot community stated months ago, they went to school with Robert and know that he was the spawn of Communist criminals and privileged his entire life. There is no doubt in my mind he is being funded by sinister forces within and outside these United States. Follow ANY money this cretin gets. He´s not smart enough to earn a dime honestly.

Robert O’Rourke is an Irishman with a funny walk and puppet gesticulations. Why do women find in this kind of loser? He even fled the scene of a DUI accident. I think Kamela is the dark horse in this race.

The only thing Kennedyesque about Beto is that he inherited his money from his father and didn´t have to do a day´s work in his life.
