There will be no Triple Crown winner this year. Controversial Kentucky Derby winner Country House will not be running in the May 18 Preakness Stakes after developing a cough, trainer Bill Mott told the Daily Racing Form on Tuesday. “He developed a little bit of a cough this morning,” Mott told the paper by telephone. “His appetite is good.
