Remember when Obama made fun of Trump´s magic wand´ to fix the economy?

Three years ago, then-president Barack Hussein Obama (D) mocked the plans of his sure-not-to-be-successor, Donald J. Trump (R), for the country, comparing them to his oh, so successful eight-year "scandal free," high unemployment, high food stamp use, successful administration. "He just says, ´I´m gonna negotiate a better deal.´ Well how? How exactly are you going to negotiate that?" Obama said during the town hall portion of the event. "What magic wand do you have? And usually the answer is, he doesn´t have an answer." Well, that was then. And this is now. To Obama´s shock and dismay, Trump is president.

Obama is a putz.

I love it when Rush imitates Barry’s dismissive answer to the blue collar worker who had been laid off work. Barry turned it into mocking Donald Trump’s promise to bring jobs back to America.
“Uhhh, what’see gonna do, huh? Wave a magic wand? Who’s he gonna negotiate with, huh? Those jobs aren’t coming back.”
No wonder Barry looks so dark and sour these days. Trump did bring the jobs back and in person.

The "magic wand" wand is very simple. Lifting the oppressive government boot off of the neck of business and commerce, even a few millimeters, and things get rapidly better.

No magic, other than the magic of free markets. Still way, WAY too much government boot on our necks, things could be ten times better if we could get it off even more.

The funniest thing, because it was SOOOO classically BO, is that after Trump upended just about everything that BO did, BO wanted us to thank HIM for getting the economy in good order. Even better, I´ll bet that BO, a supreme narcissist, actually believes that.

The economy actually started to improve right after the 2016 election in anticipation of Trump fixing things. With no BO and no Hillary, business KNEW things would get better.

The dems/Left/media don´t "see" it because they can´t afford to, especially now that their collusion/obstruction/impeachment meme is imploding. Maybe they need a magic wand?

BHO is a lame, mouthy, punk, drug addled, tool of deeper, darker, evil, forces. When he goes off script and tries to think of something clever to say, he reveals what a lazy student he is about, well everything, really. Except black liberation b s. He was well schooled in that by the street criminal preacher at the perverted ´church´ he went to for decades.

I don´t care what the flyweight thinks about anything. He is just a dangerous fool in history. Actually one of the worst, but not thru any effort or skill on his part. He was just a true puppet for others. What I care about are all the neighbors and millions of citizens in this country who could be so superficial, so smug, so absolutely stupid, to vote for this dope, twice. Time to call them out and see if they learned anything in the last 2 years. This country needs a purge of the forces of sedition at all levels, starting with government, but with the mass media right beside them. Then we need to find out what the heck is wrong with the minds of the zombies who can´t seem to see the obvious.

After taking President Trump's endorsement to get himself elected senator, Mitt Romney has made quite a show of turning on Trump. The last two incidents have been notable: He declared GOP "maverick" congressman Justin Amash "courageous" for joining the Democrats and calling for the impeachment of President Trump in the House. He also made this ad hominem attack on Trump over the weekend, playing Puritan for us: On Sunday, Romney was back at it, attacking the president's character. "I think he could substantially improve his game when it comes to helping shape the character of the country," Romney said on CNN.
Bernie Sanders flips off urban minority kids 1 reply

Few things offend Bernie Sanders as much as people escaping from command-and-control government systems, even minority students whose parents are desperate to get their kids a decent education. The socialist wants to turn George Wallace on his head and not block black children from attending traditional public schools but block them from exiting them for something better. The New York Times the other day wrote a long, devastating report on the then-Burlington, Vt., mayor’s love affair with the Sandinistas in the 1980s. So many decades later, his reflex is the same: If the Sandinistas wouldn’t favor it, he’s not inclined to like it much, either.

A brazen thief stole chemotherapy medication from an Oklahoma City man’s doorstep just minutes after it was delivered, delaying his treatment for brain cancer. James Mills, 43, said his planned round of chemotherapy on Monday would not happen after a hooded suspect swiped the potentially life-saving delivery from his porch on Saturday. “I checked the door and didn’t see the package,” Mills told KFOR. “I double checked and they said it had been delivered. I check the security cameras, and I saw the UPS driver deliver it, then about eight minutes later another individual comes up, grabs it and takes off.”

Spurned Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland — whose chance at a spot on the high court was derailed by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell — may have a key say on whether President Trump’s financial records are released to the House. Trump’s lawyers on Tuesday appealed a lower court’s decision ordering that the records be released to the House Oversight Committee to the Washington, DC, Circuit Court of Appeals — which Garland heads as chief judge. President Barack Obama nominated Garland to replace Justice Antonin Scalia in 2016 after Scalia’s death. But McConnell refused to even schedule a meeting of the Senate Judiciary Committee to consider Garland’s nomination,

Authorities have discovered a second homegrown Muslim terrorist training facility owned by a terrorist organization presided over by the son of jihadist iman Siraj Ibn Wahhaj. The FBI found the camp near Tuskegee, Alabama, and reportedly described it as containing a “makeshift military-style obstacle course.” Details are few. Researchers at WPMI-TV, an NBC affiliate in Mobile, Alabama, uncovered the existence of the second facility after combing through legal documents and reported on it April 29 but the national media only picked up the story in recent days. The April 29 report states: NBC 15 News uncovered a

Rep. Hoyer, told reporters Democrats are waiting to “take an inventory,” of more contempt charges against Trump administration officials related to the president’s refusal to fully cooperate with sweeping House investigations by six different committees. The retired justice penned the main dissent in the Heller case, which established the right to keep guns for self-defense in the home. Graham´s bill would allow the Department of Homeland Security to immediately deport most unaccompanied children from Central America; double the number of federal immigration judges in order to more quickly decide asylum cases; force all asylum-seekers to apply for credible fear at processing centers in their home countries; and allow those in

It’s not all kumbaya and kombucha at the Park Slope Food Coop — where life under its socialist-tinged grocery store is apparently so oppressive that the paid workers are trying to unionize. Employees of the Brooklyn food collective recently alleged unfair labor practices by the co-op in a filing with the US National Labor Relations Board. In response, the crunchy-granola collective’s iron-fisted management threatened and punished those who support the effort — with one union-busting boss telling workers they “should have a backup plan” if their collective bargaining doesn’t bear fruit, according to a copy of the labor complaint

The Nevada Senate approved Tuesday a National Popular Vote bill on a party-line vote, sending the legislation aimed at upending the Electoral College to the governor. Assembly Bill 186, which passed the Senate on a 12-8 vote, would bring Nevada into the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, an agreement between participating states to cast their electoral votes for the winner of the popular vote. If signed as expected by Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak, Nevada would become the 16th jurisdiction to join the compact, along with 14 states and the District of Columbia.

Jerry Nadler was at it again Tuesday, waxing indignant about former White House counsel Don McGahn’s refusal to testify before the House Judiciary Committee. It’s all a show, meant to keep old news in the headlines, and to appease the large “Impeach Now!” wing of the Democratic Party without actually doing anything. Everyone on Judiciary knows perfectly well that Congress can’t compel testimony from top presidential advisers except in the most extraordinary circumstances: The chief executive’s right to frank, confidential discussions with his staff is well-established. So Nadler’s bluster about how he’ll “go to court to secure” McGahn’s appearance is just noise for the cameras. Then again, that’s all

There's a recurring theme in American science fiction where the country loses its way, endures some horrible but cleansing disaster, and then rediscovers the blessings of liberty. You'll find it in Robert Heinlein's "Future History" stories, where the Crazy Years -- a period of rapid technological advances, decaying social norms, and mass psychosis -- leads to the backlash of a religious dictatorship. The Prophets regime is eventually toppled by a liberty-loving group dedicated to individual rights. The theme is even more pronounced in Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, where a socialist regime puts the country into another Great Depression, only worse. The country's capitalists
