The FBI tasked a woman posing as an assistant to longtime FBI informant Stefan Halper to meet with Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos in London in 2016, The New York Times revealed in a report Thursday. The report confirms longstanding speculation that the woman, who operated under the alias Azra Turk, was part of the government’s operation to keep tabs on Papadopoulos and the Trump team. But one question about Turk remains unanswered by The Times piece: Who does she work for? The Times report appears on first glance to suggest Turk is an FBI investigator. One section of the

I don´t know who she worked for directly. But ultimately, does the middle name Hussein ring a bell?

Might want to ask Bill Priestap since he was in London at the same time.

She’s either CIA or working for some other intelligence
agency.

I still say the fat azz blowhard, Halper, who was paid 2 million dollars by the CIA over the years to give them his British pub gossip, is the bad guy.
What kind of idiot at the CIA would approve such payments? John Brennan.

Crossfire Hurricane was a joint operation of the CIA and FBI, so Turk was working for both agencies--but she is a foreigner, and likely CIA recruit, described by Papadopolous as speaking English poorly, a honeypot.

A well-worn tactic--contract and hire people from OTHER countries to do the work OUR people are forbidden by law to do to our own countrymen.
It is a more common practice than we are allowed to know

Perhaps her not being able to speak English very well was an act? Or was she wearing a wire to make up for her lack of language skills? It seems very odd to me that any intelligence agency would use someone for a task like this who could barely speak the language of the targeted mark.

This all sounds very James Bond-ish. Perhaps she worked for SMERSH. Was she bitten by a tarantula in bed after Trump had had his way with her? That would explain why there are no pictures of her in her work clothes. Besides I would rather see pictures of the Aston Martin that MI6 put together for the meeting with Azra Turk. Or was she really Miss Moneypenny finally getting a chance to get out of the office and do what she really wanted to do, i.e., hop in bed for once.
Fascinating.

The spying operation on Trump was started by the FBI, but the FBI is not supposed to operate outside the United States. The CIA is not supposed to operate inside the United States. The CIA also has fewer restrictions on how it conducts operations.
This may explain why Papadopoulos was lured to London in 2016 so they could play by CIA rules. This would suggest that this was a joint FBI and CIA conspiracy.

#11 wants to see a photo of the honeypot.
But - - I´m still waiting to see a photo of Catherine Cornelius - - the "cousin" of Master B. Clinton who was at the heart of the Travel Office scandal.
Just imagine that - - a young woman at the center of a major political scandal - - someone to whom the White House travel office was handed = = and no photo of her has ever appeared. I just did a Google search and - - - - - nothing.
To this day - - no one knows what Master B.´s "cousin" looked like. How about that?

This is a trap, and Turk is the bait. This current mystery, the CNN story, and this very article itself repeats the trap.
Remember Scooter Libby? Anyone? Remember what started that? It is a crime to disclose the true identity of an American undercover intelligence operative.
SO – if Turk is truly an operative of “another American intelligence agency,” then discovering and disclosing her identity may very well be a crime. Like I said: this is a trap.
Everyone please tread very carefully here, including private citizens reading this stuff, putting pieces together, and posting their conclusions on blogs and news sites. Besides having legal ramifications, it can also put people in danger. This is not a game. My advice: leave this path unexplored.

Thank you, #19 - the picture is coming together for me now. The missing piece - Star Wars.
Azra Turk - a villainess.
George Soros - Darth Vader
Jerry Nadler - Jabba the Hutt
and
the Dem presidential candidates - the Cantina in Mos Eisley.
I still think the Evil Wookie ("Mike") will join the Cantina crew but hasn´t thrown his/her/its hat in the ring yet, though.
