There may be empty seats at this weekend´s White House Correspondents´ dinner following a late-in-the-game boycott ordered Tuesday by the White House. The boycott comes weeks after news organizations invited White House staff and other administration officials to join their tables at the ritzy annual gathering at the Washington Hilton, where tickets cost $300 per seat. "The President and members of his administration will not attend the White House Correspondents Dinner this year," a White House official told the Washington Examiner in an email. "Instead, Saturday evening President Trump will travel to Green Bay, Wisconsin where he will hold a campaign

Why would I want to eat in a room filled with people who do not like me?
There is a non-biblical, but probably true story of St John (the evangelist) who was in a public bath house and ran out of it when a know heretic entered. John stated that he wanted to avoid the possibility of being stuck by lighting.

It’s gonna be a Trump trashing extravaganza. Low class rude crude insulting and in very poor taste. Everything the left holds near and dear. Probably an award in store for who can be the most insulting.

Wouldn´t it be worth watching if US Marshalls and police went in with warrants and arrested the lot of them, and the President announced it to the world and read each and every warrant as it was happening while videos of the Clappers, Shiftys, Clintons, obamas, Comey, Pelosi, James Brown´s wig, etc. being arrested at their homes played on a screen behind him?
I think it would be awesome! Too much TV? :)

Rush noted today that the drive by media runs the Democrat party. No doubt! Good call Mr President! He’s living inside their narcissistic head!

If he does the rally in Lambeau Field, the line of people waiting to get in may be as long as the waiting list for Packers season tickets.
What would have been fun is for a lot of WH folks say they were going to the WHCA Nerd Prom and not show up, leaving a bunch of empty seats and tables.

We do not need WH correspondents or their dinners. Trump has Twitter. I will be listening in to the Green Bay broadcast.

So IOW, the White House Correspondent’s Dinner will be only slightly larger than a CNN panel discussion but in tuxedos with rubber chicken, peas and too much wine.

I wouldn´t go if they paid me the $300 to be there. They all hate America and traditional American values, and I hate people who attack the orange man.

"We’re looking forward to an enjoyable evening of celebrating the First Amendment and great journalists past, present, and future."
Knox lies as he represents liars. There haven´t been any journalists, let alone "great journalists" for decades.

I bet there is not one joke about the Mueller report and I think they´ve about run out of ´The Wall ´ material. Maybe they can joke about indictments coming up, lawyer bills, prison terms.

Trump has killed the "nerd prom." Like snakes, they just don´t know it yet. The celebs have disappeared, and after Michelle Wolff´s "comedy" last year, this year´s main speaker will be a historian. Watching paint dry would be more interesting.

Just like alternative events in Big New Years Eve party’s called “First Night” or similar nicknames, alternative events to the WHCD are perfectly fine.
the so called “Press” in this nation is nothing more than a leftist political party and their correspondent dinner is one on their conventions . It contributes nothing to society and only shows what a bubble people in Washington DC live in. Even as far back as 1800 John Adams could not wait to get. Out of that city and back to normal human civilization. In that respect, times have not changed .
