Ann Coulter says she’d consider vote for Bernie Sanders

Original Article

Posted By: MissMolly, 4/18/2019 4:46:32 AM

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter said she could support Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-VT, in 2020 and even floated the idea of working in his administration if he returned to his earlier stance on immigration. In a preview clip of PBS’s “Firing Line with Margaret Hoover” released Wednesday, host Margaret Hoover asked Coulter how she viewed the progressive senator. She asked whether she would support him if he campaign on “getting rid of low-skilled workers” to ensure higher wages.

Comments:

"Conservative commentator Ann Coulter"? Obviously, not.

She is an elitist. Ann Coulter believes she is significant above all others. Otherwise, she would remember that socialism removes individuality and would NOT be able to support Bernie Sander´s socialist agenda.

Coulter peaked on the Bill Maher show when she predicted that Donald Trump would win the Presidency. Now I wonder if she didn’t say that just for the shock value and not because she really believed it. She is making herself irrelevant with this Bernie love because no conservative would ever consider voting for that old communist.

First this was a CLIP from the interview which means there´s a lot more we haven´t seen or heard. And this tease is doing its job, which is making people mad who used to like her, and making liberals happy to see her apparent change. But it´s all based upon totally filtered information in an article that is so brief it defies the use of the term article. Are so many of us so stupidly anxious to conclude what media teaser pieces want us to conclude?

Yes, Coulter said what she said but you have to know there´s more to it than her saying she´d vote for a person who represents toxic liberalism. Her point has always been that if we don´t truly seal the border we are doomed. We may already be doomed because of the 40 million illegals here already who all have cell phones telling more of their friends and relatives how to get here. Ann is obviously super frustrated to the point of making a statement in a PBS interview in order to tweak the liberals who watch the network. I guess it´s PBS, as the old Firing Line was a PBS program. Anyway, let´s not copy liberals by believing every headline or simpleton article as if they represent the entire story. OK?

Coulter wrote Adios and now she is a one trick pony - all about stopping illegal immigration.
Bernie spoke against illegal immigration so she supports him.
But we all know the truth - Sanders will never follow through.

Miss Coulter, if you think Trump is not following through well enough on stopping illegal immigration then just wait till you see how all the other candidates will not only bail but will turn it around the other way and open the borders.

Why on earth would anyone vote for a politician, let alone a democrat, let alone a socialist democrat, based on something they have said? Paul Ryan said he supported limiting immigration at the southern border. But he never did it--he stood in the way of those who wanted to do it. McCain said he´d eliminate ObamaCare, and he voted the opposite.

Politicians say all kinds of things. You have to vote based upon what they have proven they will DO. Ignore what they SAY they will do. It´s all BS.

Former Rep. Gowdy made the revelation in an interview Sunday with Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo. "There are a lot of serious questions that need to be asked" during Attorney General William Barr's investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia probe, Gowdy said. Among them: "Where are the transcripts, if any exist, between the informants and the telephone calls to George Papadopoulos?"

The polls were wrong. The pundits were wrong. The party insiders were wrong. The bookies were wrong. I was wrong. Even Burt the psychic croc was wrong. Australia’s dysfunctional, unpopular, conservative government (the Liberal and National parties, currently in coalition, sit on the right in Australian politics) held onto power for a third term in Saturday’s national election. This happened despite the fact that most analysts expected it to lose a large number of seats; despite being (seemingly) out of step with the nation’s emerging consensus on climate change, marriage equality, religion, and race; despite a chaotic tenure in office that has seen three leaders since 2016; despite a threadbare

Three years after the twin shocks of President Trump's triumph in the Republican primaries and the narrow win for "Leave" in the Brexit referendum, the evidence has never been stronger that the world has entered an era of anti-liberalism. Later this week, voters across Europe go to the polls to vote in EU parliamentary elections that could deliver a quarter or more of the seats to the continent's right-wing populists and nationalists. Meanwhile, exit polls in India suggest that Narendra Modi's Hindu nationalist party will win re-election when results are announced on May 23. This follows the surprise victory in Australia of Scott Morrison's conservative coalition,
Rotting Trash Piles Sky-High in LA,

Rat-infested piles of rotting garbage left uncollected by the city of Los Angeles, even after promises to clean it up, are fueling concerns about a new epidemic after last year's record number of flea-borne typhus cases. Even the city's most notorious trash pile, located between downtown LA's busy Fashion and Produce districts, continues to be a magnet for rats after it was cleaned up months ago. The rodents can carry typhus-infected fleas, which can spread the disease to humans through bacteria rubbed into the eyes or cuts and scrapes on the skin, resulting in severe flu-like symptoms.

Jerry Nadler was at it again Tuesday, waxing indignant about former White House counsel Don McGahn’s refusal to testify before the House Judiciary Committee. It’s all a show, meant to keep old news in the headlines, and to appease the large “Impeach Now!” wing of the Democratic Party without actually doing anything. Everyone on Judiciary knows perfectly well that Congress can’t compel testimony from top presidential advisers except in the most extraordinary circumstances: The chief executive’s right to frank, confidential discussions with his staff is well-established. So Nadler’s bluster about how he’ll “go to court to secure” McGahn’s appearance is just noise for the cameras. Then again, that’s all

Democratic leaders in Congress proved the perils of “jumping the shark” this month. The phrase comes from the 1977 episode of the television comedy “Happy Days” in which one of its leading characters, the “Fonz,” jumped over a shark in a water skiing stunt in swim trunks along with his signature leather jacket. That moment was viewed as a desperate ratings stunt by a dying television series struggling to keep viewers engaged. Today, the phrase has come to define similar instances of desperation. With the many overhyped political moments of the last two years, it is not clear when the partisan shark jump occurred. Soon after the appointment of special counsel

Americans today are more closely divided than they were earlier in the last century when asked whether some form of socialism would be a good or bad thing for the country. While 51% of U.S. adults say socialism would be a bad thing for the country, 43% believe it would be a good thing. Those results contrast with a 1942 Roper/Fortune survey that found 40% describing socialism as a bad thing, 25% a good thing and 34% not having an opinion. The Roper/Fortune survey is one of the oldest trend questions measuring attitudes on socialism in the U.S. Gallup's update of the question in an April 17-30 survey finds

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., joined the legion of “Game of Thrones” fans disappointed by the show’s finale. “I’m sad,” said Ocasio-Cortez in a video of the two legislators posted to Warren’s Twitter account Tuesday. “Disappointed about it.” “I was just really… meh,” said Warren. The pair bemoaned the arcs of the female characters who seemed prime to rule at the end of the series. Instead, one “went crazy” and the other settled for ruling only part of the continent. The lawmakers were not alone in their distaste for the series’ treatment of its female characters

The political zealotry of the federal judge who ordered ten years’ worth of Donald Trump’s financial records be turned over to the House Oversight and Reform Committee chaired by Elijah Cummings has been revealed with a highly unusual provision of his order. (snip) The remedy for potential political bias in a federal judge’s ruling consists of the appeals process, with the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and ultimately the Supreme Court able to reverse such a decision. But Judge Mehta’s order forbids this

After taking President Trump's endorsement to get himself elected senator, Mitt Romney has made quite a show of turning on Trump. The last two incidents have been notable: He declared GOP "maverick" congressman Justin Amash "courageous" for joining the Democrats and calling for the impeachment of President Trump in the House. He also made this ad hominem attack on Trump over the weekend, playing Puritan for us: On Sunday, Romney was back at it, attacking the president's character. "I think he could substantially improve his game when it comes to helping shape the character of the country," Romney said on CNN.

Here’s a revealing — and disturbing — new poll that bears on the current gang fight among leftists for the soul of the Democratic Party and its 2020 presidential nomination. See Also: ESPN chief: You’ll never guess what our viewers want to hear nothing about Almost half of Americans in a new Gallup Poll believe that socialism would be a good thing for the United States to have. Almost half (43 percent). A good thing. Democrats like Bernie Sanders driving that party to the left may be on to something for a winning theme in next year’s vote. Today, a bare majority (51 percent) says socialism would

There’s no longer any way to avoid it: “Something strange is going on at Fox News.” “Something strange is going on at Fox News. Something very strange,” President Donald Trump told a throng of thousands at his Pennsylvania rally last night. “The audience showed their agreement by booing Fox News.” (The Blaze, May 21, 2019) According to the Blaze "President Donald Trump
Jerry Nadler’s cynical, cowardly show 19 replies

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-NY, accused the White House of "intimidating" former White House Counselor Don McGahn from testifying on Capitol Hill and said it was becoming "more and more difficult" to not consider President Trump's impeachment on Monday night. Nadler told CNN anchor Chris Cuomo that his committee will hold McGahn "in contempt" for not complying with the subpoena and will take the battle to court. "You are dealing with a lawless president who is willing to go to any lengths to prevent testimony that might implicate him, that does implicate him," Nadler said. Nadler expressed that Trump's "lawless behavior"

The U.S. Postal Service on Tuesday started a two-week test transporting mail across three Southwestern states using self-driving trucks, a step forward in the effort to commercialize autonomous vehicle technology for hauling freight. San Diego-based startup TuSimple said its self-driving trucks will begin hauling mail between USPS facilities in Phoenix and Dallas to see how the nascent technology might improve delivery times and costs. A safety driver will sit behind the wheel to intervene if necessary and an engineer will ride in the passenger seat. If successful, it would mark an achievement for the autonomous driving industry and a possible

There's a recurring theme in American science fiction where the country loses its way, endures some horrible but cleansing disaster, and then rediscovers the blessings of liberty. You'll find it in Robert Heinlein's "Future History" stories, where the Crazy Years -- a period of rapid technological advances, decaying social norms, and mass psychosis -- leads to the backlash of a religious dictatorship. The Prophets regime is eventually toppled by a liberty-loving group dedicated to individual rights. The theme is even more pronounced in Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, where a socialist regime puts the country into another Great Depression, only worse. The country's capitalists
