Pete Buttigieg is the latest star to emerge from Democrats’ 2020 pack, which is no surprise since he exhibits all the tropes we have come to associate with this party in the era of its Trump derangement. On the evidence just of his attacks on Vice President Mike Pence, Buttigieg is a shameless liar, a calculating character assassin and an anti-religious/anti-free speech bigot, motivated by a virulent hatred of his political opponents, especially those who have been good to him like Pence. Buttigieg’s chosen target is one of the most decent human beings in politics, who was supportive of Buttegieg

If anyone does not believe this is a spiritual battle right now, I do not know how they cannot see it. Every day it seems to just get worse and more ugly and hateful from the left.

The problem with Buttigieg is he is white. Being gay is not radical enough to win the democrat nomination.

If pete wants to teach us theology perhaps he should study John 9 "Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? 3Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him."
It doesn´t matter if he was born gay, or became that way by a conscious decision to sin. Even if born that way, he could repent of his sin of living a lifestyle that God finds to be an abomination.

Excellent article! Jesus warned us that His followers would face severe persecution in the last days. This is only an opening shot in the great last battle. Gird up your loins and fasten your seat belts, Christians.

I nominate this for a Must-Read. Horowitz has this guy pegged. He´s a diabolical poster child for the left. Flaunting his identity rather than credentials. Attacking those who do not embrace his perversion, thereby rendering him the victim and those having a contrary viewpoint as being intolerant. He misquotes Scripture as only a diablo can. He´s dangerous, but not unconquerable. Spiritual war - indeed this is.

PB is an incredibly smart guy and shouldn´t be underestimated. He comes across as reasonable and innocuous, but his calm demeanor hides a slick salesman slowly selling a sweet poison. I felt the Pence business was an inadvertent slip of the mask, but Mr. Horowitz has persuaded me otherwise; Buttigieg may prove as rapacious and calculating as Bill Clinton. He´s painted Christians as extremists. I wonder if he´s planning his own Sister Souljah moment with the extreme LGBTQ wing of the party in order to present himself as the rational centrist candidate, when he is anything but.

FTA: “Like his Democrat comrades – Booker, Harris, Warren - Buttigieg dons the shield of martyrdom, portraying himself as a persecuted minority whose suffering absolves him of responsibility for his aggressions and bad behavior.”
Posters #1 & 7 are right. This is spiritual warfare fought in the political arena. Democrats put on their coats of self-righteousness and instead of debating policy issues, want to denounce Christians for their beliefs. They accept Islamic dogma which calls for the murder of gays but automatically attack anyone they perceive as Christian. It is Christianity that sets them off, but Islam is fine. If dems want to make this about moral purity, bring it on! The vast majority of Americans are fleeing from their dictate that we must accept every perversion they embrace. Because their policies are indefensible to voters, they insist that they can win by being the morality police. Please! We know who the debauched party is and want nothing to do with their absurd promotion of what they deem acceptable. Traditional Americans do not want to live in a world governed by these Godless hedonists. From abortion to acceptance of any perversion, it is not who we are.

Wonder how American Muslims and Muslims worldwide would feel about a homosexual as President of the United States? (See Abdel, America is the Great Satan)
Wonder if Buttigieg eats at Chick-fil-A.

"Painting Christians as extremists," yes that is exactly what Buttigieg is doing.
(And to add to the absurdity, he is painting himself as the genuine Christian.)
This tactic was just tried in Wisconsin .... and it FAILED. A candidate for a judgeship named Hagedorn was vilified by the Left for his traditional Christian beliefs. Big money poured into the race from all over the country, and Hagedorn was predicted to lose. But in an "upset," he won.

Classic Marxism; Buttigieg creates a straw man out of Pence, then eviscerates the straw man. Sadly, too many American voters are bereft of brain cells to see through the pathetic debate technique.
But, Buttigieg also gets to pull a Bart Ehrman because so many Christians are utterly clueless about what is in their Bibles. "Pence has a problem with my Creator," please. Gen 18:20-19:25; Judges 19; Romans 1-2:1; Buttigieg´s Creator definitely has a problem with Buttigieg´s lifestyle (Note: Abraham begged God not to destroy Sodom. It was God who said, "Game over.") and Pence behaved biblically by not making an issue out of Buttigieg personally but demonstrating love and compassion towards him.

Most fascinating of all is that Mayor Pete wants to do away with the Electoral College, which means Indiana won´t have a say in Presidential politics, but NY, CA and the blue part of Texas will determine who wins. Do people even REALIZE this? (Plus that aggressive shot at Pence, out of the blue, was a nasty attention getter......Pence had done NOTHING to deserve it. PLUS he looks like a chipmunk!)

Is Buttigieg running for President or auditioning for the lead in “La Cage aux Folles”? Listening to Mayor Pete, you would think that his gayness, others’ reactions to his gayness, and obsessive focus on sexual orientation were the critical issues confronting American voters. He wants to run against a president who sticks to jobs, the economy, national security, trade, and the ability to project military power as the meat and potato issues. Several posters have cautioned us not to underestimate Buttigieg and they might have a point in that I couldn’t underestimate him any more comprehensively than I already do.

It´s not up to me to decide that your sin of buggery is any worse than the sins of others. But apparently you have decided that my Christianity is an unforgivable sin in the Church of Buttigieg.

The day the leftist and liberal Democrats nominate a White gay man for President over well known Black candidates will be the day the Democrats loose a good percentage of their very necessary Black vote.
Remember Black unemployment now is as low as it has ever been with more jobs out there for the asking then there are Black folks who really want to work and are looking for a job. That’s means a lot, and Black folks know that it is President Trump and his economic policies that are responsible for that happening.

I´m amazed how some on the right are smitten and impressed with this guy.
This article by David Horowitz hits all the right marks about Buttigieg and destroys any timid accolades he may get. Basically he´s the flavor of the month running for the VP position on the D ticket....against Pence on the Right ... both Hoosiers.
I lived in the Hoosier state for 15 years and this dude knows he will never be a senator or governor of that conservative Christian state. So he figured try for Potus, right. Everybody else is trying to make some easy money and get name recognition why not a gay man. Isn´t Cory Booker gay?
Sorry Pete, you´re too boyish and your insecurity with your orientation is showing. Also, your life inexperience is weak and most of all, you are anti Christian and anti 1st amendment.
Right now he should be watching his back from the oppo research that is being put together to destroy him by his own party.
Adios Pete.

It is a spiritual battle, one Christians are bound to win. God has taken away from Satan his soul destroying weapons of sin and guilt. Christ defeated the foe by taking away his weapons of sin and the law which could condemn us and by defeating death itself. God has given us this time to save as many as possible.
The question that then comes to mind is where are our Christian leaders. They seem to have withdrawn from the battle in order to save their precious tax-exempt status. Let the "government take it away so that they lose their buildings and must then take their message to the street. If it is war ....

He has told how proud he is of his parents who were ardent communists. My question is, if I who have never owned a slave am responsible and have to pay reparations to people who have never been slaves why aren´t his parents responsible for the 100 million innocent men, women and children communists murdered in the last century and are still being murdered in this century?

There are many things that many people do -- lifestyles, if you will -- that I disagree with. Some of those people are Christians; some are not. But that does not mean their "lifestyles" are or should be illegal.
For example, I object to married people cheating on their spouses. That doesn´t mean it is or should be illegal. Other people´s affairs are none of my business. But that does not mean I cannot stand up at appropriate times and speak about how much hurt affairs cause.
I do not agree with Mike Pence re gay marriage, for example. But I still think he is and should be free to speak his mind on the matter. And I don´t think his position on the issue makes him a bigot.
"Mayor Pete" and his ilk are dangerous. When we start demonizing our political opponents because of their political or social positions, we turn them into the devil. And we cannot have conversations with them.
Whatever happened to "agree to disagree"?

FTA: “That if you got a problem with who I am your problem is not with me--your quarrel, sir, is with my Creator.” Scripture is the inerrant Word of God and the accusation by Peter Buttigieg that his homosexuality is the responsibility of our Creator cannot go unchallenged.
In Genesis 1:27, it is written that God created male and female. In Genesis 1:32, God declared His Creation “very good.” Meaning, creation had conformed to God’s intentions in the best possible way. In Genesis 19, God destroyed Sodom because of homosexuality. God’s teachings about homosexuality are written in Genesis19:5, Leviticus18:22,20:13, Deuteronomy22:5,23:18, Judges 9:22-23, Romans1:26-32, 1Corinthians6:9-10, 2Peter6-11, Jude6-8, Revelation21:5-8,22:14-15.
Without question, Judeo-Christians are in a spiritual war, schemes of the devil; not against flesh and blood, but against cosmic powers, spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
From Genesis to Revelation, sexual immorality is an abomination to God and will be judged accordingly: “...the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8,22:14-15)
“...God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption...” (Galatians 6:7-8)

I want to know how Pete Butt´s lifestyle will influence his governing policies. We already know he is running his mouth criticizing Christianity, and he has no business criticizing them. How else will he govern? Most likely he will be a lot like Obama, and we do not need another Obama. If he wants to be gay, that is his choice. I doubt many people will want a gay person shoving his personal views down their throats.
