Attorney General William Barr shocked official Washington Wednesday by saying what previously couldn´t be said: That the counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign in 2016 involved “spying.” The spying, which Barr vowed to investigate, is not the only significant possible violation of investigative rules and ethics committed by agents, lawyers, managers, and officials at the FBI and the Department of Justice. A catalogue of those abuses can be found in recently released testimony that ex-FBI official Edward William Priestap provided to Congress in a closed-door interview last summ

This is a wonderful read.
FBI doesn´t have the word "spy" in it´s vocabulary, therefore it cannot "spy". If you can get something by a FISC judge, then it´s "credible". Also, there is absolutely no political bias in the FBI, by definition. Whatever the FBI does, it can´t be politically motivated.
And these people are in charge...

Every day, something new.
The stinky/piaps/FBI/media cartel has always been complex but now it´s intricate. This is good.
Sooner or later a tipping point will be reached. It has to.
Does anyone now really give a crap about the piaps?
The pupating libtards in the new dem party are stupid beyond hope and have so sense of history beyond what they can remember. Why would they lift a finger to protect her?
She´s a withering old gasbag now and she can´t possibly bribe and/or blackmail everyone. This is their best opportunity to kick her to the curb once and for all while protecting bathhouse barry.
The dems are cannibals and everyone knows this. Now´s their chance; there must be a few dancing around the cannibal pot or at least thinking about it.

They need to speed this up. We already have tons and tons of solid information, on the public record, showing that at least a dozen top FBI, CIA, DoJ and Dept of State committed a huge number of criminal acts, broke many laws, committed repeated FISA frauds.
When do the indictments start? How much more do they have to investigate?

Time for Trump to go on the offensive, and you know he doesn´t do anything half-assed. I think Barr is a man to get things done. Trump should have got rid of Sessions the minute he recused himself.

What will #7 say when all of the unsealed indictments are opened...?
I´m starting to think Sessions and Barr are a tag team. Why would Sessions display a portrait of William Pelham Barr in his office space?
Former AG Magoo...!

Regardless of political affiliation, one would like to think there are sufficient honest resources within the DOJ and the Intel Community to expose this treason, and for justice to be done. If there is not, God help us all.

Remember when it was reported that before the election was over shrillary was screaming at her people that they better fix things or they´re all going to hang? She knew what they were doing. And what the penalty for treason is.

What Priestrap said to Congress is beyond the pale. Spying cannot exist in the FBI because the FBI does not use that word. What?!?!
And the FBI cannot do anything motivated by politics because the FBI doesn´t do anything motivated by politics. Double what?!?!
If you or I were to use answers like this under oath, we would be sent off to the calaboose for perjury. In fact, if we said such things to the FBI, we would be charged with lying to the FBI -- which is a Federal crime.
I think the FBI needs to be dismantled and something else take its duties -- something the American people can actually trust.

The lawyers representing the dems sure have done their best to aid and abet the FBI and DOJ in this whole spygate episode. It furthers the narrative that dems always circle the wagons to protect their own. This exchange really brings this home. FTA: elicited basic denials that the FBI and Justice had abused their power. But then she pushed her luck, asking a question that wasn’t worded quite carefully enough: “Are you aware of any actions ever taken to personally target Donald Trump at the highest levels of the Department of Justice or the FBI?”
Priestap must have pulled quite the face because Shen immediately declared, “I’ll rephrase.” Here’s how she tried it the second time: “Are you aware of any actions ever taken against Donald Trump at the highest levels of the Department of Justice or the FBI?”
Before Priestap can answer, his lawyer, Mitch Ettinger, interjected: “I think you need to rephrase your question.”
At which point Shen’s Democratic colleague Janet Kim jumped in to help: “Are you aware of any actions ever taken against Donald Trump at the highest levels of the Department of Justice or the FBI for the purpose of politically undercutting him?”
At last, Priestap was able to say, “No.”
That long road to “no” strong suggests that the highest levels of Justice and the FBI personally targeted Trump and took action against him. The only caveat is that Priestap believes none of that targeted action was done to undercut Trump politically. That may be so (however much the savvy observer may think otherwise). But it doesn’t blunt the main takeaway — that the bureau and DoJ targeted Trump.
So one has to ask, who are they protecting? Not Priestap. He´s a throw away. No, my bet is Obama!

I think we’re about to hear the world’s largest opera performance as people in all of these agencies start singing in order to protect their own arses. It’s going to be the biggest circular firing squad ever.

FBI Director Chris Wray does not inspire any confidence that he will clean up the odious FBI. This dirty institution of J. Edgar Hoover must be dismantled. Remember that Mark Felt of the FBI brought down Nixon inciting his puppets Woodward and Bernstein. The rank-and-file of the untouchables are also crooked cops as explained by Priestap: if you can get a FISA application through the Roberts/Obama it is not political.

Spying is passive information gathering, the monitoring of actual happenings. What the FBI, Brennan and Clapper did is Counterintelligence, the creation of false information meant to actively harm someone, in this case an innocent government official who happened to be POTUS.
They are all in deep doodoo, Obama and Clinton included. Even if Obama knew about this and didn´t actively participate or give direction, he´s as guilty as sin due to his lofty if unqualified position. Da buck stops here.

AG Barr will have to identify his most loyal lieutenants to help with this and weed out the moles from the very beginnings. He also needs to revoke passports for a number of people who he thinks will be subject to referral for investigation.

Looks like the Super Bureaucrats running the Obama era FBI were living in their own fantasy world. Can you imagine what they would have done to a wimpy Republican like Jeb if they had the chance. Those Super Bureaucrats are bureaucratic castle builders for the agency they run and to enrich themselves. Chances are most live all their career lives inside the DC beltway, separate from the rest of America, are married to spouses who also hold down career jobs in the federal bureaucracy, and to accomplish their castle building career long mission, know that they must stay allied with the dominant political party of big government in DC that doles out the cash, the Democrats. Their worst fear is that an outsider Republican is elected President, who holds no allegiance to them or their big government castle building and who would not have a problem upsetting the big government DC Apple cart.

#20 is absolutely right. For those of us following Q, we know that´s already been accomplished. Sessions weeded out the black hats. Huber, Horowitz, & one other to be named later, have done all of the investigations which has yielded over 80,000 sealed indictments. Trump´s communications team is slow-dripping this into the population, so there isn´t a huge shock when these traitors go down. WWG1WGA! MAGA!
