My first memory of Greg Craig was when 0bama, during one of his first days in office, had the press in and after being asked about Guantanamo, turned to ask ‘Greg’ about how soon they would be closing it. I think he answered within the year. : D

When I hear the name Greg Craig, I think of Bill Clinton´s impeachment and his abilities as a fixer.
"Prior to becoming Obama White House Counsel, Craig served as assistant to the President and special counsel in the White House of President Bill Clinton, where he directed the team defending Clinton against impeachment. Craig also served as a senior advisor to Senator Edward Kennedy and Secretary of State Madeleine Albright."

What are the odds of a DC jury finding an Obama White House lawyer being prosecuted by the Trump Justice Department guilty of a crime? About the same as OJ´s odds in downtown Los Angeles, except that the jury pool will be of a somewhat darker complexion.

One of the Clinton lawyers indeed. One of the cadre of lawyers democrat party always has in the wings to tackle these pesky inconveniences. Any one remember the inestimable Mr Richard Benviniste ? Now probably a retired democrat consigliere. Lanny Davis probably took his chair.

Whether he is a sacrificial lamb or just a plain SOB this is good news to fair minded Americans. This "lawyer" has been a smug, nasty piece of work since I first heard his name 20 years ago. I would hope against hope that he is guilty of something truly serious and gets some significant jail time as he enters his older years.

Are MSNBC and CNN going to make as big a deal out of this as they did with Trump’s lawyer Cohen? Only if it’s to call the indictment revenge prosecution.
