"There is nothing more deceptive than an obvious fact." -Sir Arthur Conan Doyle At the hearing of the Oversight Committee on Tuesday, Attorney General William Barr was grilled about the Mueller report: When will it be released? Will they see an unredacted version? Has he (Barr) discussed it with the president? etc. The questions were redundant, mostly stupid. All of those asked by the Democrats were accusatory. Since Special Counsel Robert Mueller announced there would be no charges of collusion against the president or anyone in or of his campaign,

Sorry but my turnip truck wounds healed in 1995. How many times since then have conservatives been at the "now they´re exposed and justice will be served" moment? Past history demonstrates that EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. something like a Barr comes along to raise expectations, the GOP (that would be a Lindsey Graham or Mitch McConnel or...) destroys those expectations. Until Carter Page, George Papadopoulos, Mike Flynn are repaid for ALL of their court costs and income loss AND the United States pays the tort claims they deserve, AND the criminals involved ALL get the prison sentences AND serve the time THEY all deserve, I ain´t holding my breath. Until then, Barr is just another deep state garden gnome full of sound and fury, signifying nothing JUST LIKE the GOP.

When Senator Shaheen asked the question, “Silly boy, you don’t for a moment imply that any Federal law enforcement personnel were SPYING on Trump’s campaign, do you?” Mr. Barr reflected for about 5 seconds. You could see the wheels turning in his head, as he mumbled aloud.
Then he answered,
“ Yes, Senator, there was most certainly spying, but I don’t know for sure if it was properly predicated by limited exceptions to our decades old prohibitions on this vile activity, or a blatant act of sedition by smug, disloyal, arrogant elitists. This could be a scandal the likes of which our Republic has not seen since our Founders had the genius to create our beloved Constitution.
”
The look on the Senator’s face was priceless. She could see the beginning of the end of the Progressive reign of terror. Look, I know this is not verbatim and a bit dramatic, but neither is it wholly inaccurate nor unfair.

The article stated that the democrat´s for over two years have had their heads deep in ostrich sand.
I´m pretty sure they had their heads buried somewhere else. Just sayin´.

The democrats had their chance to point fingers and make accusations and they did it gleefully and full of malice. The worm has turned and all crimes are on their heads. They are already beginning to sweat. The "important" players may not see jail time but names will be named, foul deeds will be identified and careers will be ended.

I suffered from information overload yesterday, watching congressional hearings.
But I believe Diane Feinstein was questioning Pompeo or Barr, and her question was incomprehensible - I sat upright in my recliner trying to figure out what she asked, when the witness said, ´Senator, could you expand on that? I don´t understand what you are asking.´
The confused old lady, Feinstein, shuffled her papers and said, ´never mind. It´s not important.´
It was clear to me that she had no idea what she had just asked. We need a 25th amendment for congressional members. She would go, as would Nita Lowey, who has turned into Edith Bunker.

One grows tired of the Ensign Pulver, ´Man is the Old Man gonna get it now´ moment. I have as much faith in Justice being done to Democrats as I do in man made global warming.

As others have suggested or at least implied, I too do not think it wise to hold our breath until Obama, Hillary, and their minions in the Deep State are held to account regarding the spying on and other treatment of the duly elected, current President of the United States. That said, keep hope alive! Or at least be open to the possibility that justice will be served.
I grow weary of seeing corrupt people skate and normal (albeit imperfect) people getting the shaft. Sometimes life brings pleasant surprises. I think we are due for a few regarding this scandal and others involving Obama, Hillary, and the Deep State.

Could it be that springing Assange from the Embassy is part of a very delicious response to the treasonous coup attempt. Could it be that his testimony and evidence regarding Seth Rich, et al, in a U.S. court will help wrap up the whole criminal scheme? One can hope.

Unfortunately, justice will NEVER be served on these hypocritical, dis-honest, selfish, power hungry, repulsive, un-american scum that have taken the country down so many perilous roads in search of more and more power and influence. Lord Acton´s famous quote has been proven over and over by these vile people. It does corrupt absolutely and the democrats prove it.

Don´t I wish. As long as we have the dishonest Press not reporting anything, and we see the cadaverous Bluemthal, our Ct. disgrace, on tv 20 times a day spinning, nothing will happen even if the truth is on our side and we have a professional, decent AG finally..

I will believe it when I SEE it.
Like a lot of other people, I´m well over the good reputations, honesty, "integrity" claims, et al., of all these bureaucrats promising to seek out truth and act on it. We are ruled by a bevy of testosterone-challenged wimps. They run like cockroaches whenever the media heat lamp is turned on, and they fold.
Barr is already retired; he doesn´t need the hassle, there is little motivation for him to fight this particular nasty battle. He´s probably too timid for this job, and too tidy to get his hands dirty.

Another shameful moment: Maxine Waters to Treasury Secretary Mnuchen. She already knew he had an upcoming meeting and had to leave by 5:15. Horrid witch, with her arrogant repeated answers to him. How can this be allowed?

Adreed, #16, but I would settle for 10 years in prison for about 10 or 12 of them.
