CHICAGO — Two people attacked a security guard at a downtown McDonald´s restaurant and the incident was caught on cell phone video. It is unknown how the incident began but video shows the security officer working the McDonald’s at 10 E Chicago Avenue fighting with two men. As customers look on, the security guard drew his weapon and the men backed off. I didn´t need to watch the video to confirm the race of the "attackers."
Does this make me a racist?

Re #1, link. There are several articles at CWB Chicago, an excellent site that investigates and reports on crimes in this part of Chicago. A child of only 11 was apprehended and a 15 year old girl assaulted an officer. Wilding, indeed.

Why doesn’t anyone get with Cornelius and Zira and see why they cant control their group? They seemed the most reasonable.

So what I hear you saying is that Jussie Smollett is now an armed guard at a McDonald’s in Chicago.

How did he get a permit to carry *or* is the guard an off duty cop?
The latter would explain why they were taken seriously by the police.

From the latest article on this story at CWB Chicago (see link at #6):
UPDATE APRIL 9, 2:40PM — Chicago police this afternoon offered new information about the incident: The security guard, a suburban policeman, was on-duty for the McDonald´s restaurant Saturday afternoon. He was leading the two men out of the restaurant when one of them struck the guard on the head with a glass bottle, police said. A struggle ensued and was captured on video.

#13, in most states security guards have permits to be armed, under various state regulations, typically background checks and some training and qualification requirements.
Also, Illinois has a Shall Issue concealed carry permit system now. If you meet the objective criteria, typically over 21, no violent crimes, training, etc, then you SHALL be issued a concealed carry permit. This why it is called "Shall Issue", if you meet the objective criteria, they cannot deny the permit.
I think he is likely licensed as a security guard if he is working in that capacity.

When confronted by two or more hostile forces, shoot one in the forehead to test the other´s reaction.

Everyone sounds way more concerned that the guard was armed than that he was being attacked. Even the customers don´t react until they see his gun. I get the feeling those guards will have their weapons taken away.
