In a sword-rattling letter dated Thursday, Mark Geragos, an attorney for Fox’s “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett, threatened to “demand the prompt production of the entire investigation file” if the city of Chicago follows through on its threat to sue Smollett for allegedly staging a hate-inspired attack against him Jan. 29 and then lying to police about it. But forget the demand. Forget waiting for the trigger of a lawsuit. The city and Cook County state’s attorney’s office should, without precondition, immediately open all the case-related files and stop ducking tough questions about what decisions were made and when.
Go ahead Kim and tell them you were doing MOOoochelle a favor.

Kim must come clean?
Are they implying that she´s dirty? That all black women are dirty? That all round-figured women are smelly?
I will not read such a racist, weight-shaming article. Maybe Moo!chelle should make another phone call.

FTA: "..., designed to clear the docket of low-level, nonviolent cases."
The Smollett case WAS violent, as it involved aggravated (noose) assault.

Just consider the violence which might have occurred if this hoax had not been debunked so quickly. Detroit, LA, Baltimore, Chicago, New Orleans, St. Louis, DC etc all up in flames and massive black on white crime.
I would say that this was a blatantly violent high level crime. And that was Smollett’s intent.

Jussie is quite sure of himself. He has friends in very high places. Why would Michelle go to all this trouble? Was this hoax Jussie’s Idea in the first place? Kim Foxx can’t be thrown under the bus - she knows too much. But having her remain in her office is untenable. This will continue to be very interesting.

Isn’t it strange that the class of people constantly complaining about red neck bigotry happen to be the most sanctified class of people in America today: black homosexuals.

Well, on balance Foxx is being very fair. I mean, a large group of people will get away with AND be rewarded for creating a hoax to remove a duly elected president, so Jussie´s hoax is pretty small peanuts in comparison.
Jussie is merely an indication of the minimum standards of where the second tier elites have to be in society in order to get away with their crimes. So, for anyone wanting "in", you can´t just be a homosexual black person to get away with a hoax. You have to add "Marxist activist actor" as well to get into the second tier.
Kim´s just helping out other would-be second tier contestants.

Foxx got paid off to do it. Somebody needs to audit her finances, see if any unexpectedly large deposits were made to her accounts. Hush money in Chicagoland accounts for 50% of the economy.

I suspect if we could drill down to the core we would find Smollett has many dark secrets that powerful ppl must keep hidden at all costs.

There´s nothing clean about this case. A crooked black person in a position of power helped out a black criminal. If Barry Obama and Eric Holder can do it, anybody can.

Does anyone remember when the hoax was hatched and the investigation started Kamala Harris wanted to start a debate on a possible anti-lynching law? Why? Lynching has always been against the law in public performed by the public (the KKK). Hanging was used for heinous crimes in prison but fazed out with advent of the electric chair.
There´s some deep roots to this story with some actors (not Smollett) in play here.

I want to know if there was a bribe involved, how much it was, who paid it, and how it was handled.

There is no chance she will "come clean" because she is too dim to understand what she did wrong. But even though she won´t quit, and probably won´t be indicted, there is not a snowball´s chance in hades that she will win a second term as State´s Attorney. The blood is in the political water, and some are already testing the air for a primary run at her.
