BEVERLY HILLS, California—Late Friday afternoon, Donald Trump landed in Los Angeles for a re-election fundraiser. The event was organized by Trump Victory, a fundraising partnership between the Republican National Convention and Trump’s campaign, and aimed to raise an estimated $5 million for the party. It was the president’s third visit to the celebrity-hub city and, by all accounts, not a star-studded one. “Celebrities? No celebrities,” Rabbi Marvin Hier said of the event. Hier is the dean and founder of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, and gave the prayer

Apparently, the Daily Beast doesn´t know how power works in that town. It´s not going to be the celebs who have it. The celebs are for glitz and show, human baubles.

Nice unbiased headline. Embarrassing? Not having any of those degenerate, illiterate Hollywood commies on Trump´s side is just more proof that he is on the side of America and we, the people.

Surber described the “celebrities” that the Clintons were hauling along on their speaking tour as “pork chops”. from the old Rodney Dangerfield bit about having to hang a pork chop around his neck to get the dog to play with him. Marvelous!
PDJT needs no pork chops...

Maybe they are all in the process of packing for their move to Canada?

Why would PDJT be "embarassed" by the absence of medically-beautified, personal trainer buff, script readers who haven´t read a book since high school?

Embarassing? For whom? Certainly not Trump. As anyone who is familiar with L.A. knows, there is a lot of cash there, and most of it isn´t in "Hollywood." That´s a tiny fraction. And the real movers and shakers don´t mix with that sleazy crowd of overpaid vulgar parvenues that the rest of the country idolize.

I´ve read enough filth and hate from the sewer dwelling Daily Beast to last me the rest of my life. Another drooling rant by a progressive moron is not going to draw me in.
Tarpley has no clue about the real world outside it´s protected media bubble. The real world isn´t captivated by media dubbed celebrities. We don´t look to them for wisdom, advice or who they admire. We expect them to entertain us. Far too often they fail at doing the one job they are supposed to be good at.

Didn´t all the celebretards in Holly-weird move to Canada after President Trump was elected?!?!?!?
They all swore they were going to move to Canada, and I know they are all so honest and truthful and trustworthy!!!!!
So, of course they weren´t there. It´s a long trip from Canada...

The two operating motives in Hollywood are greed and cowardice. The power brokers in Hollywood would destroy the career of any "celebrity" that dared to show any support for Trump. There are almost no celebrities rich or powerful enough to buck the current corrupt web of movie financing and production deals that are needed to survive in that industry.

It would be embarrassing to have the likes of Cher and Barbra Streisand there. And conservative celebrities can’t attend because they would be blacklisted by the tolerant left.

It´s my party and I won´t cry if no celebrities show up. 95% of the celebrities in Hollywood aren´t worth the time of day. One day, after they are all wrinkled up, they will find no on wants them.

If I was Trump I would consider that a positive sign. Why would he want a bunch of low life, overpaid, narcissistic morons like Barbara Streisand or Rosie O´Donnell at one of his fund raisers? Those people offer absolutely nothing to our society, nothing!

FTA: Fundraisers had estimated that some 90 donors would be in attendance, but did not disclose the invite list.
So, there was an "invite list"
FTA: Security guards posted around the house could not estimate who or how many people attended, and the drivers of several tinted black cars around the neighborhood declined to identify their clients. One claimed he had signed a non-disclosure agreement in advance of the event.
So, "non-disclosure agreements" were signed in advance of the event.
Hmmm. The only thing embarrassing was the headline and the speculating.

PDJT doesn’t need celebrities to draw money. Read on for the description of the 22,000 square foot home in which this ultra-rich affair was held. They came to be with President Trump and they brought money.
Rabbi Hier was wowed with the size of the crowd, which he estimated at 400. His wife took that down some. No matter. For an event in a private home, it was yuge. And very private. Bleached blonde Tarpley wouldn’t get it.
