A few months ago, Colton Haas and I traveled to the once beautiful city of San Francisco, hoping to have a question answered: What happened to San Francisco? (Video) Erica Sandberg, a community advocate and journalist, broke it down for us: "Right now the major issue — people always call it homelessness — but the major issue is drugs." While San Francisco has always battled homelessness and currently has about 7,000 homeless people, the drug issue is exacerbating the problem. The city currently hands out more than 400,000 syringes each month but only 246,000 are returned, leaving 154,000 syringes left
Democrats. It will be the same with other cities one by one until We become the H-llhole so many left.

Leftists and homosexuals have made it a place where all "normal" behavior is unusual, and all deviant and illegal behavior is the norm, and seems to be preferred by the city leaders.
It has been about 8 or 9 years since I was in SanFran, and I have no intention of going back, ever.

In the summer of ‘85 with our school-aged children, we saw feces on our way walking to Fisherman’s Wharf. I can only imagine how much worse it is.

Lie-beralism destroys everything that it touches!!!!
It´s that simple!!! Throw in immoral homosexuality, and it was doomed!!!!! Sodom and Gomorrah had a better chance than San Fornication!!!!!
Has anything ever improved when lie-berals took it over?!?!? No!!!!! Never!!!!!

Don´t be misled: the voters want this. They think they are being compassionate. This is why sane people--read: conservatives--are getting out in record numbers.

The documentary "Seattle Is Dying" left little doubt that Seattle´s homeless crisis is in actual fact a crisis of drugs, not homeless like the liberal politicians keep claiming. This article supports that view, observing without connecting things to Seattle that San Francisco´s "homeless" problem is a result of drugs as well.
One has to worry that this is another case of the government making a "crisis" bad enough that the people don´t ask, but demand, the government fix it, which, in turn, allows the government to take further freedoms away.

These no-go zones in America are the places that want to organize and elect a president to represent all the normal hardworking people residing in the 80% of the rest of the country.

Not to get all preachy on you, but when the democrats abandoned God, it was clear that they had made the decision to go down the road to ruin. Unfortunately, they are taking our cities and states with them. You cannot embrace sinful behavior and expect a good outcome. It just does not work that way. Enabling drug abusers is a recipe for disaster. Also, ignoring a growing mental health crisis caused many times by the drugs that people are consuming has catastrophic consequences. The Bible says that the ways of man seem right but the end brings disaster. We cannot excuse wrong behavior because doing so makes us feel better. We must confront it and then deal with it. Democrats want to make themselves feel self-righteous while their cities and states are being destroyed. Ignoring only enables the problem and you will always get more of the same.
Republicans would be smart to point out that the policies of democrats always lead to misery and destruction. Not one of the cities or states that are run by the democrats is prospering. Democrat policies are like political locusts that destroy everything in their way. Never ever vote for a democrat on any level. You will be voting for your own destruction.

The San Fran city government has a total disaster on their hands and they have time to count syringes? How pathetic do you have to be to not see the problem? They continue to support the homeless and make it easy for them to use drugs and continue their hedonistic lifestyle but they do not want The Wall to be built, which would solve the problem for them. They are a special kind of stupid.

I wonder if the hundred thousand plus drug users, including those who want help, are registered Marxists (Rio Lindans, that would be Democrats) who vote for Marxists every single election. I wonder. Huh, that would be weird if that were the case, no?

You can bet that the leftist and liberal Democrats are now planning how they will be able to harvest as many votes as possible from the homeless and strung out populations and elsewhere during the run up to the 2020 election.
The continued attempts by the Democrats to further liberalize the voter registration laws and who is eligible to vote are designed to make it much easier for the Democrats to harvest as many votes as possible from identity based constitutencies including the street deficators.

As poster #11 notes, we see the results all the time now when belief in the Creator has been replaced with obeyance to the deep state. This is the root of socialism´s evil that has overcome our once great cities.
The list of socialism failures indeed includes many of our once great cities. New York, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Chicago, especially Detroit, Denver has applied for admission, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, Albuquerque, Newark, and many others in the northeast. Notice that every one of these cities is run by a progressive/mafia-like machine known to us as the democrat party who claim they are for the people.

When liberals start complaining about their own failed policies you would think change is imminent. Unfortunately they are incapable. Hence this will continue and the same losers will be re-elected so they can continue to destroy San Francisco. My advice would be don´t go there and if you live there move.

Sell the whole enchilada to Mexico. They think it belongs to them already but would still hock the house to get their hands on California once again. This transaction would work like a Louisiana Purchase in reverse where we rid ourselves of massive tracts of volcano and earthquake vulnerable land in exchange for gold, oil, and a fat check. Trump is itching to make this deal. When the big one hits, Mexico will sell it back to us for pennies on the dollar instead of shouldering the responsibility to rebuild. In the meantime, let Mexico City deal with Gavin Newsome, Nancy Pelosi, Diane Feinstein, Kamala Harris, and their merry band of grifters.

What are they injecting? The city should provide pure Fentanyl for the 400,000 syringes. If you are avoiding the State because of SF you are missing my fine city on the border that is clean and welcoming.

I am happy to have my memories of San Francisco from years ago. Spent a lot of time there - business and pleasure - staying in wonderful hotels like The Clift and dining at places like L’Etoile, which in those days had an elegant piano bar a la the Carlisle in New York. We dressed for dinner. It was also fun to roam the streets, which were clean… The ferry to Sausalito for seafood. Great memories.
No point in ever going back.

The whole of the Financial District and the whole of Market Street smell of urine, or worse. Aggressive bums everywhere, Union Square included. August 2017 I was harassed and harangued at a bus stop by a black man, and I said not one word to him.
Are you listening, San Francisco visitors bureau?

Isn’t it just amazing that cities run by the “compassionate and tolerant” left are always the worst places to live? If they are so compassion, why are there so many homeless? Betcha there aren’t any homeless, druggies and feces in Pelosi’s neighborhood.

The downfall began in the 1960s when the hippie generation flocked to San Francisco for music, free love, and drugs. Now they and their progency are the homeless drug users who beg, harrass, and endanger all those who venture there. Where are all of the drugs coming from - how can the homeless afford them each and every day - who is fostering this sordid behavior and decay?
Along with the rest of the decay that generation has inflicted upon our culture, their socialist ideas and non-solutions have spread to our cities nationwide. Our cities were once beacons to the world, their beauty and cleanliness unsurpassed. Now they are cesspolls of rot and are shunned are businesses, vacationers, world tourists, conventions, and those seeking job opportunities and traditional lifestyles. Visitors from other parts of the world describe San Francisco as having worse conditions that some of the Third World cities that they have visited.
There is no hope for our cities intil they can once again offer safe, clean neighborhoods where businesses can flourish and where families can settle and raise their children in a traditional American style and with traditional American principles - unfortunately, this is not the picture that the socialist Democrats, who control our cities, foresee or want.
