ABC Panel: The GOP Is Too Far to the Right, Dems Closer to the Center

With nearly the entire Democratic 2020 field sprinting to be the closest to socialism without using the label, folks in the liberal media were busy trying to spin their radical policy positions as something palatable. A great example of this occurred during ABC’s This Week on Sunday, when two panelists tried to suggest that it was Republicans who were the radical ones with Democrats supposedly as the centrists.During the “powerhouse roundtable” discussion late in the show, Republican strategist Alice Stewart noted that the candidates could “run away from the socialism label” all they wanted “but you can´t deny the fact

How incredibly frustrating for Christie that Trump didn’t lie through the campaign like politicians are expected to do. And he admits it.

All across the globe, the Enemedia has decided to label anyone not in lockstep with their far-left socialist/globalist agenda as "far-right" or "extreme-right" or "white supremacist" and "nazi". Views that formerly were derided as merely "conservative" are now equated with the ravings violent genocidal lunatics (who, of course, can only exist on the "Right"). This defensive Enemedia tactic, devoid of truth and reality, cannot long succeed.

When you can´t win fairly, change the rules; or the measuring stick.

The Left/dems/media worry that they cannot win using objective and fair rules. Their answer is to cheat. They live in an echo chamber so they think everyone must be like them so that must be the "middle". That would be bad enough but then they use that yardstick, the "correct" place to be, to reject all evidence that their positions are unsupportable. They reject the obvious truth that even though many of their people "believe" in something that they can be wrong. At a minimum you must question you beliefs and deal openly with counter evidence.

They will not. They can not. That´s what makes where they stand a faith instead of a reasoned position. It is ground on which they are anchored no matter what.

It also makes them useless as "journalists".

Is this the same ABC that just rewarded George Stephanopolus, former Clinton deceiver, with a new long term contract for $20 million per year? Enormous contract will allow George to donate another $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation to express his appreciation. The spin doesn’t stop at ABC.

Those of us who do not waiver from tried and true bedrock convictions are being painted as "too far right" by the left which keeps moving AWAY from the common good to the EXTREME.

What once was intolerable 30 years ago is often more common these days helped along by the media.

Many long time democrats have and will became republicans as their party moves stridently to the socialist left and their values are NO LONGER respected. They have been left for the young, and often illiterate AOC types.

There are so many democrat ´values voters´ out there who are about to become republicans because they have been abandoned.

It is not those who are traditional republicans who are moving, it is the left, and the media keeps trying to make traditional pro-family persons who are solid as a rock appear "out of touch" with the constantly shifting fluid morality of the liberals.

The democrats are not moving very far to the left. They´re there. They have been for years. It´s only recently that they have been out of the closet about it due to the younger newly elected big mouth congresswomen. The majority of people identify with Trump, not about money but about values and his ability to articulate and put out there what We, the People are thinking and what we say in private.

The truth is that perception is reality. The dems have gone further left with the media celebrating. The media has declared leftist ideology the mainstream and things we believed for 200 years as right wing extremism.

If you could bring someone who died in the 50´s back to life, he would be shocked. JFK is probably rolling in his grave.

Democrats have gone so far Left that average Americans need binoculars to see them and their positions. They are nowhere near center, and they never have been. The media is still trying desperately to salvage something from this disaster they made for themselves during the Obama presidency, and I don´t think it is going to work.

It´s obvious that our education system has failed to educate these people about what has made America great. Ever since these people were in school, as far back as the 1960s, education has focused more on the dark parts of American history. No wonder their perspective is so warped.

John Weaver has worked on many failed presidential campaigns — John McCain’s, John Huntsman’s, and Kasich’s — and on Wednesday accepted a contract worth $350,000 to lobby against sanctions on Russia. Weaver and his former boss Kasich had previously accused President Donald Trump’s campaign of colluding with Russia to steal the 2016 election. Weaver had also previously mocked the Trump administration for being weak on Russia sanctions. Thursday afternoon,

CNN’s chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta on Thursday misquoted a portion of President Donald Trump’s immigration speech and was quickly met with a fact-check by a Breitbart News reporter. Speaking in the Rose Garden, President Donald Trump unveiled immigration reform proposals aimed at increasing the quota for skilled workers. During his remarks, the president assailed some asylum seekers’ abuses of the country’s immigration system. “Our nation has a proud history of affording protection to those fleeing government persecutions. Unfortunately, legitimate asylum seekers are being displaced by those lodging frivolous claims,” he said. Acosta promptly accused the president of portraying

The scoring system was established by the national College Board, the nonprofit which administers the test, according to The Wall Street Journal. The new system will use 15 different factors to weigh a student´s adversity score, based on things such as the crime and poverty rates in the neighborhood where the teens grew up. Chinese holdings of U.S. Treasury securities hit a 22-month low in March, according to data released today by the U.S. Treasury. As of February, entities in the People’s Republic of China had owned $1,130,900,000,000 in U.S. Treasury securities. But in March that dropped to $1,120,500,000,000—a decline of $10,400,000,000. There's a recurring theme in American science fiction where the country loses its way, endures some horrible but cleansing disaster, and then rediscovers the blessings of liberty. You'll find it in Robert Heinlein's "Future History" stories, where the Crazy Years -- a period of rapid technological advances, decaying social norms, and mass psychosis -- leads to the backlash of a religious dictatorship. The Prophets regime is eventually toppled by a liberty-loving group dedicated to individual rights. The theme is even more pronounced in Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, where a socialist regime puts the country into another Great Depression, only worse. The country's capitalists
