Don’t look now, but Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is rising in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary polls and is once again drawing both large crowds at campaign stops and Bernie Bros back to their keyboards. And just like in 2016, Sanders is already giving many Democrats and their allies heartburn. Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.) recently said Sanders should not be allowed to run for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, because “[h]e’s not a Democrat.” When asked why Sanders won’t refer to Venezuelan strongman Nicholas Maduro as “a dictator” or take a position on whether the socialist dictator

Comments:

It´s ´´conventional wisdom´´ that he will be derailed. But what if he is not? Dems will be stuck with a kooky old Soviet admirer on the top of their ticket.

Now the Dems are actually crying Trump´s ´collusion´ with communist Russia and buddying up with Putin. Odd....with a Dem President they cuddle up to the Russians.

If 2020 were Sanders vs. Trump, I believe Trump would win. That said, I would take nothing for granted. Every citizen who loves America needs to stand in the gap on the proverbial front line in defense of life, liberty, and justice for all -- not just for the elites and their favorites. Take nothing for granted.

By contrast, the full expanse of New York City covers just 193,700 acres. Even Bill Gates’ total land ownership is dwarfed by China’s, with just 270,000 acres. Of all the foreign-owned farmland in the U.S., China owns roughly 0.9 percent, or about $1.2 billion worth of land, according to the USDA report.
