Leftist women yearn for subjugation

There was a joke made years ago about how “the children yearn for the mines,” because while they’re no longer de facto forced to dig for coal in Appalachia and the Northeast (due to their impoverished circumstances), they’re drawn to the mines nonetheless—the Minecraft video game was (and still is) wildly popular. Well, on a similar note, leftist women yearn for subjugation. No external factor is forcing them into roles of diminished status, but they just can’t help being drawn to what is not good for them (abortion, open relationships, hook-ups, transgenderism, etc.), and placing themselves under a yoke. Like, John Thune, some women feel safer and more protected when they take the side of the bad guys.

Leftist women yearn for subjugation... No More akin to Harry Potters' Cloak of invisibility. Only this one is Marx's Cloak of Irresponsibility. To live in a child world. To be taken care of. Youtube is replete with vidis of young femmes expressing their fatigue of living under the burden of production. They are not alone...

It's not just women. It's all about bad choices. Nothing worse than a dishonest brain full of rubbish. Everyone sees it every day wherever one looks. People are influenced. In many cases by people that are long gone and perhaps even dead. Today we live in an age of influence. Yong people want to be social media influencers. Didn't understand it at first, but people get paid for running their mouths and repeating someone else bad ideas. Others just consume any old garbage being said. First poor choice people make is accepting rubbish for something of value. Many cases, shockingly so. These aren't stupid people. In many cases they don't think for themselves. "Thinking is hard! I will let someone else do it!" These people aren't stupid. They are fools.

A climber known for setting speed records in Yosemite National Park has died in a climbing accident in California. Jake Whisenant, 30, of Mammoth Lakes, California, died Aug. 3, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Coroner Unit. The sheriff’s office website lists the cause of death as “accident,” and officials have not released additional details. Tulare County includes Sequoia National Park and the southern Sierra Nevada. Bailee Moore, who described Whisenant as her lifelong friend, told NBC News on Monday that he died in a fall while he was climbing and that the details surrounding the fall are still being investigated. She called his death an “unimaginable loss.” “There’s no words that could

A Florida swimmer had her arm ripped off by a 10-foot alligator — a vicious attack she wound up surviving thanks to a fast-acting boater who scared the beast away. The woman was on a paddleboard in the Silver River in north-central Florida when the gator grabbed her by the arm and pulled her underwater, despite her trying to push it away with her paddle, FOX35 reported. Miraculously, John Gamache was eating lunch on his boat and, upon hearing the woman’s family’s cries for help, he sped toward the group. “I looked just upriver from us a couple hundred feet and saw an alligator head way above the water and going full

It's hard for me to believe that the Democrats might run Kamala Harris for president again after her campaign was such a disaster in 2024. Not only did President Donald Trump clean her clock, even getting more of the popular vote, but he also beat her in all the swing states. Plus she spent and lost a ton of money in a futile cause, by some estimates, $1.5 billion over the course of an abbreviated campaign. Polls have her up for 2028, though, so I'm all in for it. That should be great fun to watch her go down in flames again. It does sound like she's gearing up

On July 16, 1988, Florence Griffith-Joyner sprinted 100 meters in 10.49 seconds at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Indianapolis. Nearly four decades later, no woman has run faster, and her world record still stands. Her 200-meter record, set at the Seoul Olympics later that year, has also stood for almost forty years. Flo-Jo remains the fastest woman who has ever lived. Yet her 100-meter record has repeatedly been surpassed by American high school boys. The current U.S. high school boys’ record is 9.92 seconds, set in 2025 and more than half a second faster. Many boys have run faster than Flo-Jo’s legendary mark, and each year more join that list. At the 2026 California

Rush Limbaugh had a saying to explain how he would drive a point home about the left that perfectly applies to what we’re seeing in the WNBA today. He said that sometimes you have to illustrate the absurd through absurdity. In other words, you have to take the left’s premise to its ultimate conclusion to more fully see just how messed up it is. That would be a perfect description of how the WNBA is totally blowing its current men-in-women's-sports crisis. My colleagues David Manney and Robert Spencer both wrote separate stories about this trend, which is getting increasingly absurd: We now have former NBA stars declaring their intent

Jason Arday, the sociologist who made history as Cambridge University's youngest Black professor, has resigned from the university after weeks of mounting accusations of plagiarism and fabrications in his biography. Arday, who joined Cambridge in 2023 at the age of 37, became one of Britain's most high-profile academics after sharing an extraordinary life story. He has said he is autistic and dyslexic, and that he did not speak until he was 11 and could not read or write until he was 18. But following the accusations and scrutiny, Arday resigned from his position on Wednesday. "The relentless accusations, speculation and public commentary have taken a profound

There is a pattern that repeats with disturbing regularity: when left-wing or socialist policies dominate power, crises not only arrive — they worsen, are managed through ideology, and end up costing lives, prosperity, and social cohesion. This is not an accident. It is the result of a worldview that prioritizes narrative, social engineering, and political control over effectiveness, prevention, and reality. The 2008 financial crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, uncontrolled mass immigration, and energy failures are clear examples. The United States is not immune: what Europe and Spain have suffered with particular intensity offers a direct warning for America. The 2008 crisis was global, originating in the American financial system,

ISLAMABAD — Renowned British-Nepali climber Nirmal Purja and nine other climbers swept away by an avalanche in Pakistan are confirmed to have died, and search teams were trying to recover their bodies, Purja’s expedition company said Saturday. “The world has lost one of mountaineering’s greatest climbers,” the company, Elite Exped, said in a statement, adding that all the lives lost were being mourned. “No words can ease the pain of this unimaginable loss.” The 10-member expedition was swept away by an avalanche Thursday on Pakistan’s Broad Peak. Rescuers found four bodies and recovered three of them Friday in harsh weather that hampered flights by search and rescue helicopters.

Socialists have won one Democratic primary after another this year. Of course, Democratic primary voters represent a thin slice, the leftward-most portion, of our electorate. Still, socialism as a viable popular movement in the United States represents a radical departure from our history. How wide is the appeal of socialism, really? Rasmussen headlines “Voters Overwhelmingly Reject DSA Policies,” and its findings are interesting. But while the Rasmussen survey tests four policies being advocated by the Democratic Socialists of America, socialism is not one of them. And I don’t find the results to be particularly reassuring:

Liberals are quick to blame forest fires on “climate change,” without any evidence as to how the conditions under which a particular fire broke out are different from those of last year or decades ago. In fact, acreage lost to wildfires is at an all-time low because of improved forest management techniques. Worldwide, acreage burned by wildfires is believed to be lower than ever before, including pre-human historical times. In the U.S., acreage burned is down by around 80% since the 1920s and 1930s, as the Healthy Skeptic notes: (Chart) The recent slight uptick is due, I believe, to the fact that California has turned forest management over to environmentalists,

Illegal migrants are losing out on beach vacations and picnics because of President Donald Trump’s crackdown on illegal migration, according to hand-wringing reports in pro-migration media outlets. “A group of Latino friends and their families had a tradition they repeated every summer: traveling in a caravan to a North Carolina beach, renting a large house, sharing expenses, enjoying the ocean and cooking together,” said an “8 agosto, 2026” report in EnlaceLatinonc.org, which tried to hide the migrants’ illegal status. “But this year, they decided to stay home” because they are illegal migrants, the report lamented, as it broadcast complaints from some of the 15 million illegal migrants in the United States:

President Donald Trump has played tough with Iran, using the U.S. military to punish that nation’s Islamist regime when it stops talking, and calling off hostile actions when Iran returns to the negotiating table. After five months of this pattern, Americans’ support for U.S. attacks on Iran is lukewarm at best, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. For the August online national I&I/TIPP Poll, taken from July 28 to Aug. 1, 1,463 adults were asked: “Do you support or oppose U.S. military action against Iran?” The poll’s margin of error is +/-2.9 percentage points. A total of 42% said they supported military action either “strongly” (22%) or “somewhat,”

One of the nation’s top sports chronicles, Sports Illustrated, is under fire for pushing out a headline insisting that WNBA star Sophie Cunningham deserved to be bashed in the face on the court because of her support of women-only sports. Carrington was handed a flagrant 2 foul for sending the Indiana Fever’s Cunningham smashing to the floor during her successful layup in the first quarter of Saturday’s game.

Dr. Anthony Fauci said in private text messages with other federal health officials that the COVID-19 vaccine could “theoretically” pose a risk of miscarriage for pregnant women after the second dose. The former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases noted that because “many people have a cytokine storm and fever after the second dose” of the vaccine, “this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester.” The January 2021 text thread took place during the early weeks of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout. A cytokine storm occurs when the body releases too many small proteins called cytokines into the blood too fast,

American families wandering around, kids in strollers, teenagers hanging out, middle-aged dads wearing super aggressive 90s shorts, and women still sporting big hair. You see Americans eating at the food court and looking with wonder at this enormous new temple of shopping that had just opened its doors. That was the Mall of America in 1992. At the time, it was practically a monument to American consumer culture. Bigger, brighter, louder, and more over-the-top than anything we’d ever seen at the time. And looking back at this opening-day footage today,
