Did Abdul El-Sayed Really Say This About
White Truck Drivers?

Townhall has shared a slew of upsetting and tragic stories of illegal alien truck drivers, who do not speak English, getting commercial driver's licenses (CDLs) and killing innocent people, both Americans and other immigrants. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy has worked to crack down on companies and states issuing these CDLs to keep Americans safe. But in Michigan, the Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed isn't worried about these truck drivers threatening our safety. He's afraid of white truck drivers in rural Michigan. "He and I were in the middle of nowhere in Michigan. I don't even remember where, what town we were in," El-Sayed said. "But we stopped
California, The Blackout State replies

Federal data show that no state had as many power outages across more than two decades as California. The nearly 500 grid breakdowns correlate with increases in renewable energy. Maybe there’s been no causation, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be in the future, because the intermittency of renewables is a mismatch with the power grid. Using U.S. Department of Energy reports, Texas Electricity Ratings found that California had 493 power outages from 2003 through 2023. Texas, which is No. 2 to California’s No. 1 in total renewable energy consumption, was close behind with 468. California’s recent blackout history began

With the 25th anniversary of September 11 fast approaching, major U.S. airlines and union bosses are actively obstructing federal law enforcement efforts to apprehend foreign nationals who have overstayed their legal visas—the exact structural vulnerability exploited by the 9/11 hijackers to murder nearly 3,000 Americans. In a series of tense airport standoffs, gate agents and corporate executives at major carriers like Southwest Airlines have repeatedly blocked Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers from accessing jet bridges, shielded passenger manifests, and demanded administrative hurdles to prevent federal agents from taking illegal visa overstayers into custody, according to recent reports by national news outlets. While corporate elites and open-border advocates frame their resistance as

The NYPD denied it’s sending any personnel to serve as security detail for Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s wife Rama Duwaji during her upcoming Middle East trip – an awkward rejoinder to City Hall’s claim the department “strongly” recommended she be accompanied by New York City cops. “The NYPD does not send officers to countries with level four travel advisories for discretionary reasons not linked to investigative work,” an NYPD spokesperson insisted early Tuesday. Duwaji, 29, is visiting Lebanon and Syria — both on the State Department’s “Do Not Travel” list — starting Sept. 20. “It’s not official business. It’s not doing anything for the city,” a source with knowledge of the trip told

There are certain old videos that come at you hard. Not because anything dramatic happens. Actually, it’s quite the opposite. Everybody just looks… totally normal. American families wandering around, kids in strollers, teenagers hanging out, middle-aged dads wearing super aggressive 90s shorts, and women still sporting big hair. You see Americans eating at the food court and looking with wonder at this enormous new temple of shopping that had just opened its doors. That was the Mall of America in 1992. At the time, it was practically a monument to American consumer culture. Bigger, brighter, louder, and more over-the-top than anything we’d ever seen at the time. And looking back at this opening-day footage today,
Leftist women yearn for subjugation replies

There was a joke made years ago about how “the children yearn for the mines,” because while they’re no longer de facto forced to dig for coal in Appalachia and the Northeast (due to their impoverished circumstances), they’re drawn to the mines nonetheless—the Minecraft video game was (and still is) wildly popular. Well, on a similar note, leftist women yearn for subjugation. No external factor is forcing them into roles of diminished status, but they just can’t help being drawn to what is not good for them (abortion, open relationships, hook-ups, transgenderism, etc.), and placing themselves under a yoke. This is more of a

Federal agencies have posted draft regulations that would sharply curb the many visa programs used to import foreign, cheap, mixed-skill workers for the white-collar jobs sought by skilled American professionals. “The sky is falling in the immigration space,” said Nicolette Glazer, an immigration lawyer who favors the visa programs. “That’s a positive,” responded Kevin Lynn, the founder of U.S. Tech Workers, which is a group that campaigns against the visa worker programs. The rush of draft pro-American rules will trigger a pre-election, closed-door lobbying campaign in the White House. Investors and billionaires with stakes in multiple industries will personally lobby President Donald Trump to delay the draft rules so

Illegal migrants are losing out on beach vacations and picnics because of President Donald Trump’s crackdown on illegal migration, according to hand-wringing reports in pro-migration media outlets. “A group of Latino friends and their families had a tradition they repeated every summer: traveling in a caravan to a North Carolina beach, renting a large house, sharing expenses, enjoying the ocean and cooking together,” said an “8 agosto, 2026” report in EnlaceLatinonc.org, which tried to hide the migrants’ illegal status. “But this year, they decided to stay home” because they are illegal migrants, the report lamented, as it broadcast complaints from some of the 15 million illegal migrants in the United States:

The uncle of the Democratic nominee running in Pennsylvania's 10th Congressional District, Janelle Stelson, is a New York businessman who has spent his career advancing Chinese interests, a Washington Free Beacon review found. He has routinely rubbed elbows with Chinese Communist Party members, holds significant ties to liberal megadonor George Soros, and has donated thousands of dollars to his niece's political campaign. John W. Allen, Stelson's mother's brother, has contributed $8,250 across Stelson's two congressional bids, campaign finance disclosures show. He maxed out his contributions for her doomed 2024 campaign, plus another $500 that appears to have put him over the legal limit

That vision includes radical changes to the American political system, like abolishing the senate, heavily restricting private markets, and abolishing police and prisons. The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) rode a wave of dissatisfaction with the status quo to unprecedented electoral success this year. DSA affiliated candidates and fellow travelers lead New York City and are poised to dominate its congressional delegation. In other areas of the country, DSA candidates are campaigning on a radical platform once unthinkable.

And separately, it looks like they are not at all lethal, but just very effective.”

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier called for records Monday from the New York Times as he seeks to scrutinize the company’s editorial practices, citing the state retirement fund's investment in the paper. The attorney general contends that the paper has engaged in “editorial malpractice" that could expose the publication to costly litigation and ultimately hurt its shareholders, which includes retirees in his state. Uthmeier alleges in a 28-page letter to the publication that there are “publicly documented failures” of the New York Times failing to apply its own editorial standards to its news stories and of it using the opinion section to “publish reported factual assertions outside the newsroom’s verification controls.”

federal judge handed President Donald Trump a minor legal victory Monday by allowing him to amend his $10 billion lawsuit against the BBC in a move that is expected to help him dodge sharing financial information with the outlet. The president sued the network in December in his personal capacity for defamation over the BBC airing a program in 2024 that edited clips from his speech on January 6, 2021, to make it seem like he was inciting violence. United States District Judge Roy K. Altman gave the president permission to file an amended complaint by next week, and dismissed the BBC's request to dismiss the lawsuit as "moot."

The short-term funding bill the U.S. Senate passed early Saturday to keep the government running through Dec. 11 would provide about $843.9 billion for defense, nearly half of the about $1.7 trillion in annualized budget authority it covers, according to a new Congressional Budget Office estimate. The measure would largely maintain federal agencies at prior-year funding rates, but it carves out billions in exceptions, including for Navy shipbuilding programs with prior-year cost increases. CBO estimated the stopgap at about $1.7 trillion in annualized budget authority and $1.87 trillion in outlays across the 12 appropriations bills it extends. Of that, $843.9 billion in budget authority is for defense.

Dr. Anthony Fauci said in private text messages with other federal health officials that the COVID-19 vaccine could “theoretically” pose a risk of miscarriage for pregnant women after the second dose. The former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases noted that because “many people have a cytokine storm and fever after the second dose” of the vaccine, “this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester.” The January 2021 text thread took place during the early weeks of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout. A cytokine storm occurs when the body releases too many small proteins called cytokines into the blood too fast,
