Stark Warning About Mamdani

Dem strategist Mark Penn took to X during the wee hours Wednesday morning to warn the public about "the lie of socialism" represented by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, but it's really a cry for help over what's happening to his party. Before we get to that, however, you need to understand just what a colossal screw-up Mamdani’s pied-à-terre tax really is. Because if what Penn says is correct — and apparently it is — it’s a colossal screw-up by design. And an oh-so-bitter taste of what New Yorkers are stuck with for the next three-and-a-half years. At least three times in 1858, during speeches or in Lincoln-Douglas Debates, Abraham Lincoln brought up slavery as being on a path to ultimate extinction. Whether it was in Chicago on July 10th or Jonesboro on September 15th, crediting the nation's founding fathers as crafting the Constitution as the vehicle creating the dead-end path for that evil institution, or from the phrase's most famous citation, the House Divided Speech on June 15th in Springfield, Lincoln's meaning was quite clear. Either the opponents of slavery

As Ed wrote, Anthony Fauci did the only thing he could do to avoid going to jail: invoke his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent in the face of questions that would reveal that he and people around him committed crimes, lied to the American people, pushed policies that killed people, ruined lives, interfered in domestic politics, profited off of mass death, and conspired to hide the fact that he likely funded the creation of COVID. Sen. Rand Paul SKEWERS Fauci as he concludes his opening remarks: "You are here today under duress. You are here today because of the court ordering it. President Biden issued you a sweeping

Anthony Fauci on Wednesday appeared before the U.S. Senate Homeland Security Committee, but pleaded the Fifth to avoid answering questions by Senator Rand Paul (R., Ky.) and others about his obfuscation of facts surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic. Fauci told the committee in an opening statement that he believes in and respects “the value of legitimate congressional oversight,” and noted he had testified before or briefed Senate and House committees more than 200 times over his 38-year career. He mentioned appearing for hearings in the Senate and House for transcribed, sworn interviews about the Covid-19 pandemic.

Iran attempted a “surprise attack” against US forces in the Middle East on Tuesday, firing several ballistic missiles that were all intercepted, US Central Command said. “At 5:45 p.m. ET today, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces launched multiple ballistic missiles from Iran in an attempted surprise attack on U.S. forces based in the Middle East,” CENTCOM wrote on X. “All Iranian missiles were successfully intercepted. U.S. forces remain vigilant and at a high state of readiness,” the command added. The flareup came one day after mediators said that cease-fire talks between the US and Iran made “significant” progress. President Trump, last Friday, had halted

The race to become America's next economic heavyweight may already have a frontrunner. The latest Internal Revenue Service (IRS) migration data show billions of dollars in taxpayer wealth flowing into Texas, while Census figures show the state's largest metropolitan areas continue to outpace much of the country in population growth, strengthening a decades-long shift in America's economic center of gravity. What's more, Texas isn't relying on a single boomtown. Dallas-Fort Worth added more residents than any metropolitan area in the country over the past year, while Houston, Austin and San Antonio also ranked among the nation's fastest-growing metros.

Throughout this cycle, the Elitist Media have abetted DSA-affiliated candidates running as Democrats: gleefully amplified socialists such as Zohran Mamdani and covered for the sins of others such as Graham Platner. Through it all, they have assisted them in concealing what the Democratic Socialists of America actually stand for. A recent Fox News interview rips that veil open. Shannon Brean interviewed DSA national co-chair Megan Romer on Fox News Sunday. Here are some of that interview’s most remarkable moments. After an introduction and exchange of pleasantries, Bream asks Romer to respond to former Democratic National Committee chair Jaime Harrison’s complaints about DSA candidates who hate the Democrat Party.

Perhaps it got too obvious not to notice. But the Democrat party indeed is a dumpster fire of chaos, unpaid bills, and flung objects, now that so many sources of funding have vanished in the Trump era. No wonder they are putting out so many freakish candidates. One can only wonder how long such a mess will last. According to the Times, whose headline was: Inside the Phone-Throwing Drama at the Troubled, Broke Democratic Party: The Democratic Party is so short on cash that leaders at its headquarters have undertaken a new gambit to mask the severity of the problems: asking vendors not to send bills

The German chancellor, Friedrich Merz, vowed to punish those responsible after a car struck people on the outskirts of Berlin’s Gay Pride celebrations, killing at least one person and wounding 16 others. The attack on Saturday night forced organisers to cut short one of Europe’s largest Pride events and comes as Germany remains on edge after a series of deadly vehicle and knife attacks in recent years. Police said those hurt “included several with life-threatening injuries”. They called on everyone to leave the event, one of Europe’s largest LGBTQ+ celebrations, immediately, in a post on X.

With all the hustle and bustle leading up to Friday evening's White House Correspondents' Dinner, a major court ruling on illegal immigrants and education appears to have mostly flown under the radar - and it's a big win for all Americans. Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker was dealt a major legal blow Friday after a federal judge gutted key state laws providing in-state tuition, financial aid and scholarships to illegal immigrants, marking another win for the Trump administration's nationwide immigration agenda.

On January 6, 2021, President Trump stated, “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.” The Democrats later tried to imprison Trump and ban him from the presidency forever over language they contended was tantamount to a call for insurrection against the federal government. Interestingly, they don’t have the same standard for a mayor who’s issuing a similar call for people to protest a visiting head of state. Apparently, only some (i.e., Democrat) politicians are allowed to call for citizens to speak out.

President Donald Trump finally got to deliver his first White House Correspondents’ Dinner speech as president Friday night, three months after a gunman brought the original event to a terrifying halt. Trump mixed a tribute to law enforcement with an extended roast of the press, Democrats, and celebrities. He capped it by pulling out a red “Trump 2028” hat and joking that he planned to run for a fourth term. The rescheduled dinner was held at the Waldorf Astoria in Washington, D.C., with heightened security and a smaller guest list. The April 25 event at the Washington Hilton ended after an armed man charged a security checkpoint

Just a few weeks before the first day of class, Howard University retracted the admission of 502 incoming freshmen, whom it says failed to pay tuition on time. Now, New York is opening up its public university system to affected students and offering $800 credits to offset non-refundable deposit costs. The would-be incoming Howard students were notified July 22 by the school of their dis-enrollment, and many took to social media afterward to lament the situation. Several attributed their delayed tuition payments to waiting for private scholarships and other financial aid promises from Howard, a private school and one the country's Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Is there a serious crisis of confidence in the Social Security system? It certainly looks that way, based on the latest national online I&I/TIPP Poll, which was taken June 29 through July 2 by 1,473 Americans. The poll’s first question asked voters: “How confident are you that Social Security will pay full scheduled benefits throughout your retirement?” Among those responding, 43% said they were either “very confident” (16%) or “somewhat confident” (23%). But 47% answered either “not very confident” (23%) or “not at all confident” (24%). Another 10% said they were not sure.

In the wake of a mass shooting in Seattle Sunday, the city’s Socialist Mayor Katie Wilson is facing scrutiny for deactivating surveillance cameras in parts of the city to protect criminals and illegal aliens. A shootout between two thugs at Seattle’s Bite of Seattle food festival Sunday evening left three people dead and four others injured, including a toddler. Seattle Police and SWAT teams responded within seconds, performing emergency aid at the scene and launching a search for suspects. Police reportedly recovered two guns at the scene. Police identified the deceased victims as a 19-year-old man, 44-year-old man, and 56-year-old woman.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani has doubled down on his “Eat the rich” campaign by publishing a list of hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers guilty of . . . owning an apartment. The city Department of Finance released an “enemies list” of property owners who might be covered by the new non-resident “pied-a-terre” tax — a kind of one-stop class-warfare shopping list for antifa radicals looking for targets. Mind you, publicizing the list serves no good purpose: The city is mailing all these owners asking them to clarify if they don’t qualify for the new tax, so this publicity isn’t about informing them, it’s about scaring them.

A stunning paperwork failure has handed Democrats a guaranteed pickup in Florida House District 47 without forcing them to win a November general election. Democrats have effectively flipped a Republican-held seat in the Florida House after GOP incumbent Paula Stark failed to qualify for the ballot and her legal effort to reverse the disastrous mistake collapsed in court. Leon County Circuit Judge Joshua Hawkes formally dismissed Stark’s lawsuit on July 23 and ordered the clerk to close the case, ending the Republican lawmaker’s last-ditch attempt to regain her place on the 2026 ballot, according to Florida Politics. The result is an astonishing and completely avoidable loss for Florida Republicans

He lied about the transmission, and he lied about natural immunity," he told Fox News personality Laura Ingraham. "He lied about the capacity, as you just said, of the vaccine to prevent infection."

Among other revelations, Fauci’s entries from December 2019 to December 2022 reveal a man fixated on legacy media appearances, the perks of fame, and the growing Fauci “cult” even as the pandemic escalated. The size of Fauci’s ego is no surprise to anyone who lived through Covid with his eyes open. He was notorious for doing home interviews with a portrait of himself in the background. He once claimed,
