The American auto industry is protected and thriving—and that’s thanks to Republicans in Congress doing their job, President Donald Trump said in a rally on July 27. Trump spoke at the General Motors facility in Milford, Michigan on Monday ahead of the Senate primary debate to come later that evening. The president emphasized that America is doing well, attributing much of the credit to Republicans in Congress, and inviting several Republican candidates on stage. “And thanks to our Republican majorities in Congress, we actually made interest on auto loans fully tax deductible—but only if the car is made in America,” Trump said.

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., released a trove of Anthony Fauci’s diary entries Saturday, the latest in a series of document dumps further exposing the corruption of many of the scientists and government officials behind the tyrannical response to Covid. Among other revelations, Fauci’s entries from December 2019 to December 2022 reveal a man fixated on legacy media appearances, the perks of fame, and the growing Fauci “cult” even as the pandemic escalated. The size of Fauci’s ego is no surprise to anyone who lived through Covid with his eyes open. He was notorious for doing home interviews with a portrait of himself in the background. He once claimed,

Just a few weeks before the first day of class, Howard University retracted the admission of 502 incoming freshmen, whom it says failed to pay tuition on time. Now, New York is opening up its public university system to affected students and offering $800 credits to offset non-refundable deposit costs. The would-be incoming Howard students were notified July 22 by the school of their dis-enrollment, and many took to social media afterward to lament the situation. Several attributed their delayed tuition payments to waiting for private scholarships and other financial aid promises from Howard, a private school and one the country's Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

President Donald Trump is asking the Senate to abolish the Senate filibuster and adopt the SAVE America Act to get illegal aliens off of the voter rolls and to require proof of citizenship to register to vote from now on, citing over 250,000 non-citizens are illegally registered to vote in California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Nevada alone. So far, the Senate is saying there aren’t the votes to abolish the filibuster. What can be done in the interim, then? Anyone registering to vote in the United States fills out the form under penalty of perjury, including the section where they check off if they’re a U.S. citizen. Meaning,

There are two kinds of people in this world: Those who harbor self-aggrandizing revenge fantasies against the people who rejected us… and those who are dirty, filthy liars. ‘Cause I’ll admit it: When I was a teenager, I used to daydream about becoming so frickin’ famous that all the (many, many) girls who DARED reject me would regret it. The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court on Monday to clear the way for an executive order from President Donald Trump that could dramatically change mail-in voting ahead of November’s midterm elections. The Justice Department asked the justices to halt for now lower court decisions blocking the sweeping changes in nearly half the country. The request comes shortly after Trump delivered a primetime address elevating his yearslong push to raise doubts about the legitimacy of elections, and could be one of several voting-related challenges before the court ahead of the high-stakes midterm contest.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani has doubled down on his “Eat the rich” campaign by publishing a list of hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers guilty of . . . owning an apartment. The city Department of Finance released an “enemies list” of property owners who might be covered by the new non-resident “pied-a-terre” tax — a kind of one-stop class-warfare shopping list for antifa radicals looking for targets. Mind you, publicizing the list serves no good purpose: The city is mailing all these owners asking them to clarify if they don’t qualify for the new tax, so this publicity isn’t about informing them, it’s about scaring them.

The charges against Comey stem from a social media post in 2025 that featured an arranged set of seashells on a North Carolina beach spelling out “86 47” — 86 possibly meaning “eliminate” and 47 potentially meaning President Trump. While the phrase “86” does not inherently mean violence — it allegedly originated as a restaurant term — people immediately criticized the post for tangentially implying violence, and Comey deleted the post as a result. In April, the a grand jury delivered a two-count indictment against Comey, charging that he “did knowingly and willfully make a threat to take the life of, and to inflict bodily harm upon,

The former commander-in-chief also repeatedly made reference to retaining classified information in the discussions with his biographer Mark Zwonitzer, according to newly-released audio tapes. The heavily-redacted recordings of Biden working on his 2017 memoir with Zwonitzer were released Monday to the House Judiciary Committee and the conservative Oversight Project nonprofit after a two-year-long court battle. “We now know what has been long assumed: the autopen scandal extends far back beyond just when Joe Biden ‘ran’ for president from his —

Obama compared America under President Donald Trump to the tumultuous period after the Civil War that gave birth to the Ku Klux Klan. He said the U.S. is “having the same arguments” we did in the 1860s and 1870s, when Union troops occupied the former Confederacy and attempted to secure real freedom for former slaves. “These issues are still here,” Obama told author Malcolm Gladwell in an interview for the podcast “Reconstruction: The Unfinished Promise.”
