The "independent" candidate for Senate in deep-red Nebraska who says he rejects "partisans," Dan Osborn, owes his political rise to a pair of Ivy League-educated socialist operatives who also recruited self-described "communist" Graham Platner and "Squad" member Summer Lee to run for office. The operatives, Daniel Moraff and Leanne Fan, are best known for plucking the scandal-plagued Platner from obscurity and coaxing him into running for Senate. But Platner was not the engaged couple's first go at a Senate seat. The pair told the Wall Street Journal over the weekend that they also recruited Osborn to run against Republican incumbent Deb Fischer in 2024. Osborn, who had no Democratic challenger

A pox on all their houses!! This article discusses a number of humans, each more odious than the next. I like that Osborn creeper: he wears the red flannel, just a regular guy who loves Bernie. Plus I think he is trying to make voters think he is somehow related to the great Tom Osborne, famous Nebraska football head coach. And how many Squad members ARE there? Last time I checked, a 'squad' consists of 4 people. You can't have a squad of 10. And the only Squad member I want is AOC, and not in a political way! #1: exactly. At least I knew what Swalwell was: a perverted perv who liked Chinese, and anything female that slowed down enough for him to accomplish an intercept. My Maine friends tell me everyone one they know can't stand Totenkopf Boy

Socialist ‘Red Rabbits’ are training

As its national influence has risen, the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) has simultaneously grown more extreme. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the group’s “Red Rabbits” initiative. The Red Rabbits Security Commission, a subgroup within the DSA focused on “community defense” efforts, is, according to its authorizing resolution, preparing for a “national uprising against federal agents and police brutality.” In practice, that means training cadres in tactics like armed and unarmed self-defense, blocking intersections, and fighting “fascists” with umbrellas. A recent panel offered an unprecedented window into what the project looks like. Organizers from Minnesota, Oklahoma City, Philadelphia, Tucson, Austin, and Portland compared notes.

Wyoming residents are in an uproar over plans to build a “man camp” to house thousands of out-of-state workers flocking to the region to build massive, power-hungry data centers — the latest instance of Americans revolting against such projects. Local officials are weighing a pitch from project developer Iron Guard Housing for a “temporary workforce housing complex” for as many as 5,600 laborers and townspeople in the state capital, Cheyenne, according to the Wall Street Journal. State data show the new complex would be a small city in itself, larger than 84 of Wyoming’s incorporated cities and towns — and those who remember previous

The future is for electricians. The future is for welders. We really believe the future is for everyone.” AWA is not only free, it covers training costs, transportation and certification fees in addition to paying attendees so they can focus on learning

Liberal boomers have too much free time, and they happen to be one of the most deranged groups in America. They’re the ones who spend time at these worthless ‘No Kings’ rallies while the rest of us have to work. With our 250th birthday nearing, President Trump is hosting a series of events, including a UFC fight on the White House grounds. Some loser in Northern Virginia is trying to stop it, filing a lawsuit over aesthetic grounds (via NYT):

What’s top of mind for our dear lawmakers in Washington, D.C.? An issue that concerns about 0.00343% of the American population: private jets. As the proles worry and fret and budget for, among other things, high gas and grocery prices, Congress is quibbling over private jet taxes. A hotly debated provision — hidden, of course, in an “air-safety” bill — would reportedly make it easier for the ultra-wealthy to dodge paying taxes on their private jets. The legislation would block tax officials from accessing crucial flight data. This data would allow state and local tax collectors to better pinpoint jet owners avoiding taxes by registering their planes in states like

Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha, are adding a new baby boy to their family this summer, but it sounds like they're also adding some other new family members, only these will have feathers. According to the Daily Wire, the Vance family is joining millions of people across the United States who are raising their own backyard flocks of chickens. More specifically, as of 2025, 11 million households in the US have their own chickens, and now, it sounds like we can add the VP's residence at the Naval Observatory to the list. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass has infuriated organizers of one of the city’s most beloved Independence Day traditions by suggesting they move it off July 4 to save money. The remark from the mayor’s office comes as organizers of the Sunland-Tujunga Fourth of July Parade battle a growing list of city fees that threaten the future of the annual celebration after more than 50 years. The California Post first reported in late May that the parade faced cancellation after the city declined to cover $20,000 in traffic-control and street-closure costs for the first time in its more than 50-year history.

It won’t happen overnight, and it won’t happen in Washington. Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) won’t have anything to do with it. And neither will the DNC, at least directly. But it will happen. America’s most rural states have the smallest and easiest-to-change voter bases. In the end, it’s just a numbers game. All these states need is more leftists to move in, and the states will flip from red to blue. Up until now, though, the problem has been giving leftists a reason to want to live in a state like Wyoming, the Dakotas, or Idaho. Enter data centers. The Wall Street Journal has reported on one such example where Wyoming

US Attorney for California Bill Essayli has attempted to undertake an investigation of California's allegedly fraudulent voting process, saying that "protecting the integrity of California's elections is a top priority for my office." However, he said that California is now blocking a federal audit of its voter rolls. This is a state that "allows first-time voters to register" to vote using gym membership cards, employer ID cards, credit or debit cards, prescription drug labels, and insurance cards in a state that allows illegal immigrants to get state-funded insurance. None of these identification methods shows a social security number or proof of US citizenship.

The Trump Administration further withdrew hundreds of agents from Minneapolis and dampened immigration operations amid public outcry and violent riots from a small minority of the country. Half a century after Steven Spielberg challenged audiences to think about what lies beyond the starry canopy that defines our universe in Close Encounters of the Third Kind, the director is again challenging accepted precepts of faith and singular belief in a supreme being. His new film Disclosure Day sees him revisit the possibility of aliens: “I absolutely think that they have been here, and they are here,” he outlined in an interview with CBS News. First he outlined the themes behind the $115 million creation and the answers it (possibly) posed to questions of life, faith and mortality.

Election Day returns indicated that Spencer Pratt had easily secured the second position in the Los Angeles Mayor race, and would face incumbent Karen Bass in the general election. But ballots have continued to come in and be counted, and a remarkable number of those ballots have been for the initial third-place candidate, Nithya Raman. So it looks like the runoff election will be between two far-left candidates, and Los Angeles will continue to go downhill. Conservatives generally assume that the fix was in, and Raman’s renaissance is due wholly or in part to voter fraud. Are they right? Most would not appear on camera, fearful for their safety.

Los Angeles City Councilmember Nithya Raman has overtaken former reality TV personality Spencer Pratt for the second spot in the Los Angeles mayoral runoff, according to updated vote totals released Sunday by the LA County Registrar-Recorder. Raman, a progressive Democrat representing the city’s 4th Council District, now holds 27.12% of the counted ballots. Pratt, a registered Republican who ran on a law-and-order platform, sits at 26.69%. The gap stands at 3,113 votes. Decision Desk HQ projected Sunday that Raman had secured the second of two spots in the nonpartisan primary, which advances the top two finishers to the November 3 general election

Last Thursday, even as California’s chaotic primaries demonstrated the need for a nationwide election integrity law, Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Susan Collins (R-Maine), and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) voted to kill the SAVE America Act. This would be understandable if the bill were unpopular with the electorate. But its requirement that voters in every state must provide proof of citizenship before registering to vote and produce a photo ID when casting a ballot are wildly popular among Republicans and Democrats. Yet, because its passage is one of President Trump’s top priorities, TDS forced them to ignore his agenda.

It’s not often life showcases a problem in real time. It is now in the form of California and the Senate. It’s become clear that California voting is designed to give Democrats the ability to cheat. Aside from Ranked Choice Voting scam and a universal mail-out of ballots, the state allows 30 days for votes to be counted, a fraud facilitator if there ever were one. We’re seeing it play itself out very much in real time. Last week in Los Angeles in the battle for Mayor, at one point after an update of 24,000 votes, Spencer Pratt, a guy with 30% support, did not gain a single vote.

LA Mayoral Candidate Spencer Pratt has dropped to third place and will not make the runoff. Leftist city council member Nithya Raman, who previously conceded defeat, has now leaped into second place after winning approximately 40% of all mail-in ballots received in the past few days. A stunning, remarkable, incredible and some say unbelievable outcome. There are still several days of ballot counting ahead. After all, the creation of ballots takes time and resources, and as noted by several people in/around the LA area, locally sourced, artisanal ballots can take much longer to be grown and curated. (snip). Remarkable.
