Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass has infuriated organizers of one of the city’s most beloved Independence Day traditions by suggesting they move it off July 4 to save money.
The remark from the mayor’s office comes as organizers of the Sunland-Tujunga Fourth of July Parade battle a growing list of city fees that threaten the future of the annual celebration after more than 50 years.

US Attorney for California Bill Essayli has attempted to undertake an investigation of California's allegedly fraudulent voting process, saying that "protecting the integrity of California's elections is a top priority for my office." However, he said that California is now blocking a federal audit of its voter rolls. This is a state that "allows first-time voters to register" to vote using gym membership cards, employer ID cards, credit or debit cards, prescription drug labels, and insurance cards in a state that allows illegal immigrants to get state-funded insurance. A poll shows many Democrats would rather live in a different country and wave goodbye to the United States of America, the news coming as more in the party view socialism favorably.
The Elon University/YouGov America 250 National Survey that was performed between April 30 and May 4th asked respondents “Is there any other country on Earth you would rather live in than the United States today?” to which 55 percent of Democrats said yes.
Thirty-eight percent of Independents said yes while only 10 percent of Republicans gave the same answer:

Los Angeles City Councilmember Nithya Raman has overtaken former reality TV personality Spencer Pratt for the second spot in the Los Angeles mayoral runoff, according to updated vote totals released Sunday by the LA County Registrar-Recorder.
Raman, a progressive Democrat representing the city’s 4th Council District, now holds 27.12% of the counted ballots. Pratt, a registered Republican who ran on a law-and-order platform, sits at 26.69%. The gap stands at 3,113 votes.

Last Thursday, even as California’s chaotic primaries demonstrated the need for a nationwide election integrity law, Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Susan Collins (R-Maine), and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) voted to kill the SAVE America Act. This would be understandable if the bill were unpopular with the electorate. But its requirement that voters in every state must provide proof of citizenship before registering to vote and produce a photo ID when casting a ballot are wildly popular among Republicans and Democrats. Yet, because its passage is one of President Trump’s top priorities, TDS forced them to ignore his agenda.

LA Mayoral Candidate Spencer Pratt has dropped to third place and will not make the runoff. Leftist city council member Nithya Raman, who previously conceded defeat, has now leaped into second place after winning approximately 40% of all mail-in ballots received in the past few days. A stunning, remarkable, incredible and some say unbelievable outcome.
There are still several days of ballot counting ahead. After all, the creation of ballots takes time and resources, and as noted by several people in/around the LA area, locally sourced, artisanal ballots can take much longer to be grown and curated.
