California Democrats have been using mail-in ballots and ballot harvesting to win local elections for eons. It wasn’t until 2018 that we saw their scheme go national. It was the 2018 midterms, and everyone went to bed believing a slew of Republicans had won their U.S. congressional seats. There are still several days of ballot counting ahead. After all, the creation of ballots takes time and resources, and as noted by several people in/around the LA area, locally sourced, artisanal ballots can take much longer to be grown and curated.

Raman, a progressive Democrat representing the city’s 4th Council District, now holds 27.12% of the counted ballots. Pratt, a registered Republican who ran on a law-and-order platform, sits at 26.69%. The gap stands at 3,113 votes.
