According to Pakistan's constitution, the right to free speech can be restricted to ensure “the glory of Islam."However, Pakistan was once majority-Hindu. It was part of the Indian civilization with significant religious, ethnic, and cultural diversity. This is no longer the case. Native Hindu and other non-Muslim cultures were systematically and largely erased by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Moreover, attempts at reviving the Hindu and other pre-Islamic names of geographical locations are met with backlash from Muslims in the country.

The Arizona Supreme Court declined to review a case against the state's 11 fake electors who attempted to help President Donald Trump overturn his loss in the 2020 presidential election.
In 2024, an Arizona grand jury indicted 18 people who signed a document granting Arizona's electoral votes to Trump on fraud charges. Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows were among those indicted, AZ Mirror reported.
Attorneys for the fake electors said in a trial court that the indictments were invalid. The jurors weren't given a copy of the 1887 Electoral Count Act, which the attorneys argued absolved them of any wrongdoing.

New results released Saturday show Pratt’s advantage over Raman shrinking to just 7,494 votes, down from more than 20,000 a day earlier. Roughly 78% of the ballots had been counted as of Saturday.
