Billionaire investor Peter Thiel has reportedly moved his family to Buenos Aires, Argentina, in order to get away from high taxes in the United States — and to flee what he suspects will be a nuclear war and runaway AI. Thiel privately met with Argentine President Javier Milei, bought a mansion in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the country’s capital, and relocated his family there, according to a report by the New York Times. The PayPal co-founder has since enrolled his kids in a Buenos Aires school, and even bought a plot of land in neighboring Uruguay, a source familiar with the purchase told the newspaper.

In every "Repubs are the Party of the Billionaires" story the Dem-Media mentions Thiel...either now he has to stop donating to Rs or the headlines will be about "Foreign Billionaires" being the Repub Party base. In many ways Argentina is the "Texas of South America", at least the way Texas used to be.

Quirky country. Could easily hold twice as many people as it has. There are probably more beef cattle than citizens.

Interesting choice of country to disappear to. Instead of looking for a safe haven from nuclear annihilation and high taxes, wasn't Argentina the country most Nazis chose to hide out in to escape American prosecution? It was also a safe country to store money and artwork stolen from Jewish slaves imprisoned. Just saying.

Air strikes resumed between the US and Iran over the weekend as each side claimed to have hit military targets near the Strait of Hormuz. The US Central Command (Centcom) said it conducted "self-defense strikes on Iranian radar and command and control sites for drones in Goruk, Iran and Qeshm Island this weekend". Meanwhile, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had targeted an air base used by US forces in retaliation, but did not say where. Earlier US media reported President Donald Trump had requested "edits" to the latest terms of a proposal that could lead to a peace deal, and there was no sign of a breakthrough.

Morris Katz, the supposed wunderkind behind New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, is also the campaign strategist for Maine Democrat U.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner. At present, Katz has failed to live up to his title. Instead, he is doing cleanup on Aisle 7 because he refused to strategize in order to get ahead of the self-inflicted landmines that have blown up all around his candidate. As RedState reported, the latest scandal involves Platner sexting with at least 12 women soon after he was married, and doing this through an app that has known associations with pedophilia and sex trafficking.

There are two kinds of political polls. The first is curated propaganda for your consumption. Its goal is not to reflect public opinion but to shape it. It’s designed to shape your opinion, and in a sense manipulate you in the most cynical of ways. The second is the internal poll, where the campaign pays for it and keeps the results out of the public eye. This is the information and data the campaign uses to plan for, initiate, and respond to the day-to-day events of the campaign. Since all campaigns conduct their own internal polling, you have to know that if their behavior and messaging

Sen. Andy Kim (D-NJ) called for prioritizing criminal illegal migrants being held at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Delaney Hall detention center in Newark, New Jersey, calling them the Democrats’ “north star.” “The detainees and their families need to be our North Star,” Kim wrote in a post on X. “We will fight to secure dignity for them because that’s who are in America.” Other New Jersey Democrats, such as Reps. Frank Pallone (D-NJ) and Rob Menendez (D-NJ), have also called for prioritizing migrants’ needs above the needs of American citizens. The New Jersey Democrats have also criticized President Donald Trump for stripping “any pathway to citizenship and belonging in America,

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian sent a letter to Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei's office submitting his resignation, London-based anti-regime outlet Iran International reported on Sunday. An anonymous official told Iran International that the letter had called out the fact that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had effectively taken over large portions of the government, and that the president and other high-ranking officials had been cut out of vital decision-making. Pezeshkian, the letter emphasized, was unable to run the government or fulfill his responsibilities under the circumstances, and as such, requested to resign.

In a massive political disruption, new polling has pegged One Nation as the most popular party in the country, leapfrogging Labor in primary support. The latest The Australian Financial Review/Redbridge Group/Accent Research poll revealed primary support for One Nation had jumped four percentage points to 31 per cent since the pre-budget poll a month ago. Meanwhile, Labor's primary vote fell three points to 28 per cent and the Coalition dipped further to 20 per cent. Labor leads One Nation on a two-party-preferred basis but the gap has narrowed from 10 points to just 51-49. Redbridge director Tony Barry told the AFR that a record 63 per cent

Bogota, Colombia — In a surprisingly strong performance, right-wing outsider candidate Abelardo de la Espriella will face leftist candidate senator Iván Cepeda in a June runoff election to decide Colombia’s presidency, setting the stage for a battle over the country’s political future and the direction of its relationships with key international partners, including the United States. With more than 99% of the votes counted in Sunday’s first round of the presidential election, de la Espriella won the most ballots with 43.74% of the vote, falling short of the absolute majority required to win outright in the contest. Cepeda, representing the left-wing Historic Pact coalition, was in second place with 40.90%

The historic repeat win for PSG was marred by a repeat of widespread destruction by hordes of youths who rioted, set fires, clashed with police, and looted in cities and towns throughout France.//snip//However, some were quick to note the distinctly multicultural aspect of the riots and, therefore, linked the outbreak of violence to the government’s failures to limit immigration or remove those with no right to remain in the country.

We reported earlier on Saturday on Jill Biden's remarks about Hunter's pardon, and they truly did beggar belief as she tried to blame President Donald Trump for Joe Biden going back on his word not to pardon his son. Indeed, she claimed he had to do it because they were fearful Hunter would be targeted by Trump. That took some kind of gall, after the lawfare efforts against Trump for years. Jill also got a lot of backlash for saying she had never seen anything like Joe's confusion during the debate before or since, claiming she thought he was having a stroke or medical issue. We often hear and read about men brutalizing women, and it is a national disgrace that so many women live their lives in terror. But there’s another type of battering I’ve witnessed, albeit not nearly as often: women brutalizing men. While working a tour in Brooklyn one night, my partner and I were summoned to an apartment to handle an assault in progress.
