We are owed an expansive apology. That however would require sincere admission on the part of the aggressors that they did us wrong.
A vigorous scan through the legacy news from this past two weeks has not turned that up. Indeed, the parties at fault have circled the wagons instead of confronting the problem. They are attempting to make it out that the Department of Justice at the behest of President Trump is executing a campaign of persecution against a “storied civil rights organization,” as CNN on Facebook described Southern Poverty Law Center.

Bexar County Court-at-Law No. 13 Judge Rosie Speedlin-Gonzalez, the self-proclaimed “first openly LGBT judge” in the county, has been forced to resign in disgrace and accept a permanent, lifetime disqualification from ever holding judicial office in the State of Texas again.
According to the Texas State Commission on Judicial Conduct, Speedlin-Gonzalez signed off on the deal on April 20, 2026, quietly slinking off the bench effective immediately.
In exchange, prosecutors dropped felony unlawful restraint and misdemeanor official oppression charges against her.

President Trump on Sunday appeared to reject Iran’s latest proposal in ongoing negotiations over a peace deal, calling the Islamic republic’s offer “totally unacceptable.”
“I have just read the response from Iran’s so-called ‘Representatives.’ I don’t like it — TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
The president also warned the country against “playing games” after Tehran refused to discuss its nuclear program in its latest response to America’s peace proposal through Pakistani mediators.
Trump slammed the rogue Mideast country for delaying negotiations historically, ranting on the social platform.

As President Donald Trump's second term produces immigration policies, deportations and cultural shifts toward a more concentrated citizen population, red states are passing their own legislation and running candidates focused on thwarting Islamic community developments and reducing their influence.
"This is a major offensive in North Texas right now that I don't understand, but we are pushing back hard. We've got several organizations that are helping us. The governor is doing his part now, so I'm pretty optimistic that people are waking up to the dangers of Sharia in North Texas," Rep. Keith Self, R-Texas, told Just The News.

Europe is wealthier than Russia, its population is larger, and it is more technologically advanced. Yet European leaders increasingly fear the possibility that they might have to defend their borders against Russia without the guarantee of support from the United States.
President Trump dating back to his first term has threatened to pull U.S. military support for European countries as part of their North Atlantic Treaty Organization alliance that was established in 1949 in the aftermath of WWII.

On Friday, Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall petitioned the United States Supreme Court to restore its 2023 congressional maps. As RedState reported, these maps have been restricted from use when a U.S. District Court ruled they were in violation of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.
Also on Friday, the Alabama legislature passed two bills which would restore those 2023 maps, and position themselves for a special election using the congressional maps and not the current racially-gerrymandered map.
However, they cannot pull the trigger until these legal wranglings have been worked out. So,

Those are vital services to folks and individuals that need that therapy. But when you have, like in North Carolina, a system that went from $1.4 million or so in total billings for autism therapy to more than $660 million a year in billings on autism therapy within a five-year range, that begs an audit from the state auditor, who in North Carolina, we are the top watchdog agency for taxpayer waste, fraud, and abuse prevention. So we’ve dug down into that or in the middle of that. The news comes just after Breitbart News reported that Vice President JD Vance’s Task Force to Eliminate Fraud continues—

Prolific Billboard-charting musician Pitbull has partnered with Digital DNA Labs to create a first-of-its-kind curriculum to deliver civics lessons in the classroom, taught by AI versions of historical figures like George Washington.
"This is like having a FaceTime call with one of the Founding Fathers," Jason Inasi, CEO of Digital DNA Labs, told Just The News.
"And we're very blessed to have Armando Perez, Mr. Worldwide (a/k/a "Pitbull") as part of this initiative. Beyond being one of the biggest pop stars in the world, he is also very much dedicated to education and the story of America, the ability to come here, and build yourself up from the ground up."

America First Legal, a conservative legal group, has obtained records from the Minnesota Secretary of State showing thousands of Minnesotans used the state's “vouching” system to bypass voter ID while registering or updating their information during recent election cycles.
The records, which were obtained through a public records request, showed that Minnesota’s Election Day Registration process allows registered voters or certain residential facility employees to verify another voter’s residency in place of standard identification or proof-of-address documents.

Miracles happen: British voters have figured out that they don’t want their country to be systematically ruined by weak-minded leftist trash. The United Kingdom just had local and regional elections, and they went like this:
The left-wing London newspaper The Guardian sees more or less the same point: “Keir Starmer’s leadership on line after Labour’s disastrous election night.”
After years of ugly institutional decline, mass immigration from unvetted Islamist refugees who are eroding British culture, and a long period of completely insane nanny state speech policing, leftist Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s Labour Party is bleeding to death in a confrontation with voters. It’s not the end for Labour as a national party,

The fake “university,” calling itself the “Texas American Muslim University at Dallas,” has been marketing and enrolling students in degree programs, including master’s degrees in Artificial Intelligence and bachelor’s programs in computer science, IT, cybersecurity, and health informatics, without state approval.
The school openly promoted that roughly 30 percent of its curriculum consists of mandatory Islamic studies courses, billing itself as “the first university in the USA to offer STEM degree programs embedded with mandatory courses in Islamic Studies.”

Last month, Officer John Bartholomew, a Chicago Police officer, was murdered in a shooting incident at Swedish Hospital on Chicago’s North Side. The alleged gunman, Alphanso Talley, a 26-year-old career criminal, also allegedly gravely wounded Bartholomew’s police partner. The brute had pistol-whipped a female store clerk to begin his crime spree earlier in the day.
In the 2022 Illinois gubernatorial race, the main issue, as it is this year, was the no-cash bail SAFE-T Act, which took effect a year later.
The 2026 contest for governor is a rematch from that year. Incumbent Democrat J.B. Pritzker is facing Republican challenger Darren Bailey.
