The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on Friday urged real estate professionals to share neighborhood school and crime data with prospective homebuyers after websites like Redfin and Trulia stopped during the Biden administration over racial discrimination concerns. “Buying a home is one of the most significant decisions a family will ever make,” HUD Secretary Scott Turner said in a statement. “Americans should not be left in the dark about vital facts like neighborhood safety or school quality. “HUD is making clear that real estate professionals can openly and lawfully provide this information in an equal and consistent manner to American families.” A 2021 directive to HUD from former President

Most of this data is readily visible to potential home buyers. When you see the gangs standing on corners, bars on the windows and don't feel safe walking down the street because you feel eyes watching you, it's probably not safe to move there.

I have a friend that told me he and his wife were going to purchase a home in an area I knew to be crime ridden (another friend lived there and told me about it). I asked the first friend if he checked the police stats about crime in various areas. Of course he didn't know about that. Once he checked, he Freaked Out, immediately called the realtor and backed out. (I checked before he did and it was horrible). Advice to anyone looking to buy a home...check out everything about that area for crime, and if it has an HOA, drive by and keep going!

More anger from the left, color me shocked. This upcoming week, the PGA Tour will have their fifth signature event of the season, with the brand new Cadillac Championship being hosted in Miami, Florida at Trump National Doral. For around a year, the tournament has been on the schedule, however, non-golf fans — to be more specific, lefty non-golf fans — have taken advantage of the opportunity to blast the Tour for having any kind of connection to President Donald Trump. The looming Cadillac Championship is the first time since 2016 that the PGA has had an event held at Trump Doral. From 2007-16, Doral was the home of the WGC-Cadillac Championship, however,

King Charles III and Queen Camilla are moving ahead with their U.S. visit in the wake of the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington D.C. President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, first lady Melania Trump and other top officials were evacuated from the Washington Hilton Hotel ballroom on Saturday night after a gunman exchanged fire with Secret Service agents in the lobby before being subdued and taken into custody. On Monday, Charles and Camilla are set to arrive in Washington D.C. for a four-day trip, marking their first visit to the U.S. as British monarchs. In a statement to Fox News Digital on Sunday,

Democrats are offering rare praise to President Donald Trump as his push to revitalize Washington, D.C., ahead of the semiquincentennial brings neglected landmarks back to life through various restoration projects. "Cannot believe it's taken this long, but this truly makes me so incredibly happy to see," wrote ActBlue communications strategist Carter Christensen on X in reaction to the Meridian Hill Park fountain flowing once again after years of neglect – one of a handful of social media messages celebrating the update. Construction and landscaping projects across Washington, D.C., have accelerated in recent months as the nation prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday in July,

In the immediate aftermath following the apparent assassination attempt against President Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday evening, Iran’s Tasnim News Agency was quick to question whether the shooting was staged. Tasnim, which has close ties with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), suggested that the shooting at the Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C., as the Correspondents Dinner was commencing, may have been a “big show” intended to bolster President Trump’s approval ratings. The news agency speculated that it could have been staged to improve President Trump’s position ahead of the upcoming mid-term elections or perhaps to “use it against Iran or another country”.

President Trump is set to feast on the “fake news” media Saturday night when he attends his first White House Correspondents’ dinner as commander-in-chief. Despite turning down invitations to the annual event throughout his first term and last year, the president appeared to be eager for dishing out a roast, repeatedly prodding reporters at the White House this week. “You’re such a disgrace,” he told one on Thursday. The appearance gives Trump his chance to put his mark on the dinner, after famously serving as the repeated butt of former President Barack Obama’s jokes during his 2011 routine – a skewering that is said to have solidified the billionaire’s decision to seek

The same scenario plays itself out thousands of times across the country each week, as hundreds of news outlets report on gang shootings, lootings, robberies, and rapes, alleging that “teens” are the perpetrators. The legacy news media either can’t or won’t come up with a more accurate term for reasons we need to address up front. Most (but not all) of these stories involve minority males under the age of 18. To avoid appearing racist, or to actively suppress the facts in the stories, the reporters, editors, and producers involved euphemize the alleged perpetrators by referring to them the generic “teen.” To be sure, an increasing number of juveniles involved

Someone stole 15 giant agricultural drones in New Jersey — and experts fear a “nightmare scenario” if they end up in the hands of terrorists. The fleet of Ceres Air C31 drones, which are about the size of an ATV, were ripped off March 24 by a bogus delivery driver who duped shipping and logistics company CAC International in Harrison, according to The High Side substack. The four-armed flyers can carry and spray up to 40 gallons of liquid chemicals, such as fertilizers and pesticides, and unleash the payload over a 15-acre span in just seven minutes. The FBI is concerned the chemical-spraying drones could be used to disperse biological or chemical

President Donald Trump survived two assassination attempts during the 2024 election, and Saturday night he was whisked away again from another lethal threat when a heavily armed gunman briefly breached a security checkpoint at one of Washington's most famous black-tie galas and exchanged gunfire before being subdued by the Secret Service. But Trump would not recoil. First he wanted to return to the White House Correspondents' Dinner before it was canceled, hoping to send a signal to a nation gripped by political vitriol and shaken by recent assassinations — from Charlie Kirk to Minnesota legislators – that “sick people” cannot “change the fabric” of the United States.
