John Cornyn Will Be a Texas Thom Tillis
and That’s Awful

Original Article

It’s no secret that John Cornyn is in grave danger of having the good people of Texas dislodge him from the senatorial sinecure he’s occupied without distinction for four endless terms. He seeks a fifth term for no apparent reason other than he loves having lackeys address him as “Your Senatorness.” And that’s all he does – his opponent, Kenny Paxton, lays waste while John Cornyn lays around. He is, as one might say in the otherwise awesome Lone Star State, as useless as mammaries on a bull. Today, Cornyn is a non-player timeserver; it’s tomorrow that we need to worry about.

The Rino's and Democrats hate Paxton, which is why I am voting for him in the May 26 runoff.

I'm leaning towards Paxton, but Talerico is running a "Abby Spanberger" campaign. Playing moderate and reasonable in election season but going as far left as AOC and Schiff as they can get.

Ken Paxton has the ethics and morality of an alley cat. I don’t want him representing me. If he wins the primary, I’ll leave that space blank on my general election ballot.

#2, there are NO moderate Democrats - they only claim to be moderate in the hopes of fooling just enough people to get elected. Once elected they go full on Progressive just like Spanberger. Cornyn votes about 99.2% of the time with Trump's agenda and would be nearly impossible to beat in November. Paxton has some issues and the Democrats would see an opportunity to steal a seat. I doubt most of use agree with everything our wife/husband believe or do, so should not expect purity from a politician you likely never met. We need Republicans in the House and Senate to ensure the Majority first. Can't allow the Dems to divide and discourage which only helps them win.

I'm with you, poster #5. Cornyn has proven his Rino bona fides WAY too many times in the last 20+ years. It seems many of Paxton's "baggage" problems originated with the Rino wing of the Texas Republican party. Imaginr that! Speaking of bona fides, Telerico is a bona fide flake. Word on him needs to get through the Enemedia and Rino blockade to the general populace, in which case he wouldn't stand a snowball's chance in **** of winning. Republican voters need to wise up. We'll never get anywhere with the likes of Cornyn.

We know Cornyn is a RINO and Paxton isn't another Swalwell, so why not get rid of the RINO and give Paxton a chance to show he's a conservative who votes the way most Americans voted for in the last election?

It's been a while since I've dunked on Meghan Markle, our American Duchess of Nothing, and her hubby, Harry. I've been trying to be good, but these two are on a four-day trip to Australia, which is being described as a "rent-a-royal" tour by royal insiders, and they're making absolute fools of themselves, as they do. This coming June in Pennsylvania, any county that agrees to support U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations will lose its current liability insurance coverage should litigation follow ICE activity. More to the point, the Pennsylvania Counties Risk Pool (PCoRP), which is the insurance carrier that provides coverage through the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP), approved the change that will now exclude insurance coverage for what are known as 287(g) agreements. This is the program where local police departments work with and support federal law enforcers, including ICE. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, “The change would not apply to county agreements with the federal government

It’s no secret that radical Islam is an insidious ideology that threatens the Judeo-Christian societal order. Not only are we dealing with an Islamist foe in Iran, but we can also see what is happening in places like the UK and other parts of Europe, where Muslims are running roughshod over society. The Islamists have their sights set on the U.S. as well. Witness Minnesota and Michigan, where pockets of Muslims are transforming their neighborhoods and cities. About a year and a half ago, I drove to Milledgeville, Ga., near the center of the state, for a concert. On one of the sidewalks in this quiet, quintessentially Southern college town,

One of the fundamental tenets of Christianity is that Jesus is the Son of God and that he is the Messiah (or Christ) — God’s chosen deliverer for His people. Jesus’ role as the Messiah fulfilled God’s promises of redemption. “In the Bible, the Messiah is the anointed king through whom God establishes his rule over the world,” explains the Lexham Theological Wordbook. (Snip) There’s apparently still some confusion about Jesus’ Messianic role — that is, if you get your theology from The View. Joy Behar, that brilliant theological mind, said something that was as ignorant as it was blasphemous.

A woke Minnesota district attorney has brought charges of assault against an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer for pointing his gun at a driver who recklessly swerved in front of his vehicle in rush hour traffic. And the Minnesota justice system is so egregiously rigged that we cannot have any confidence there will be objective justice in this case. It is a political witch hunt, and whether the ICE agent truly messed up or not, the DA is going after him precisely because he is an ICE agent. Significantly, anti-ICE Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty specifically cited multiple cases in which she hopes to see charges against federal immigration officers,

I know you'll be shocked, but the latest attempted rapist in northern Virginia is another illegal alien. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed to Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin that Luzvin Orvando Garcia Moran, who sexually assaulted a local woman while she waited for a rideshare, is a Guatemalan who entered our country as a "gotaway." That means he sneaked across the southern border without getting stopped by border officers. He has at least 25 other criminal charges against him in Arlington County, stretching all the way back to 2020, but apparently, woke authorities decided none of those merited serious prison time or turning him over to ICE.

Homeless services vary greatly in California, as Christopher Rufo and Jonathan Choe revealed for City Journal. They received a tip that the state was providing homeless illegal aliens with access to transgender surgeries. I’m not joking. They visited these encampments, spoke with some of the people there, and discovered that the Golden State has gone off the rails in providing basic needs for them. Many can accept their taxpayer dollars funding homeless shelters for beds, blankets, food, and clothing—but a sex change is something entirely different. This is insane:

When West Lake, Ohio police got a call for a welfare check on a 91-year-old grandmother, they feared the worst. Both the family and the authorities tried to call the woman but were unable to reach her. The woman was part of the city's 'Are You Okay?' program, where participants agree to get a daily welfare check call, and she wasn't answering those, either. Police showed up at her house to find her garage partially open and her car in the garage. When they entered the home, however, they found a plot twist they did not expect.

When Joe Biden was installed as president, he wanted one thing more than almost anything else: to be remembered as the president who beat COVID. His strategy was simple: go all in on pushing the COVID vaccines — the same vaccines he said before the election shouldn’t be trusted. Be that as it may, his decision to put all of his chips on pushing the vaccines forced his administration to make some very shady decisions. New details emerging from a Senate investigation confirm that Biden administration officials at both the FDA and CDC knew about a significant stroke risk tied to Pfizer's bivalent COVID-19 booster in people over 65.

Has there ever been an automobile feature as widely despised as the stop-start system that the Obama administration forced on the country? Unlikely. Which is why new federal action that kills the requirement is cause for celebration. The “feature,” which is the wrong word for what’s truly a nuisance, automatically shuts off a car’s internal-combustion engine when it is idling at a red light or stuck in traffic. It restarts the engine when either the foot comes off the brake pedal or the accelerator is pressed. The action is jerky — it too often feels like a minor collision — distracting and tiring, producing a

In one of the most out-of-touch examples I’ve seen of Democrats in recent weeks, we’ve now got Philadelphia mayor Cherelle Parker yelling at her constituents over a new tax she wants on each and every ride-sharing journey: if enacted, all Uber and Lyft rides would have an additional dollar tacked on (to support the dying city education system), which in a substantial number of instances, wouldn’t be a miniscule tax. (The average cost of a rideshare in Philadelphia is somewhere between $16 and $24, or 6.25% and 4%, respectively.) Parker wonders “how dare” the citizens and voters question how much she wants to take out of their pockets for others’ expenses:
