At the Oscars we got to see a presenter say Free Palestine and no Wars. An Oscar winner said we should not elect anyone who doesn't care about the children. They demand to Free Palestine but they never demand that Iranians, Venezuelans, and Cubans get freedom from tyrants. They didn't protest as tens of thousands of Iranians were mowed down. They haven't protested when the women's Iranian soccer team was threatened. Where are the women's athletes that always protest anything Trump does? Our sexist, racist President who hates foreigners and Muslims is the one trying to save them. The Pope and others say wars never achieve peace.

Rhode Island Democrat House members are pushing legislation to require Rhode Islanders to obtain a “Firearm Safety Training Certificate” prior to purchasing a gun.
The legislation, H 7755, is sponsored by state Reps. Jennifer Boylan (D), Teresa Tanzi (D), Justine Caldwell (D), Robert Craven (D), Matthew Dawson (D), Earl Read (D), and others.
The text of H 7755 requires the would-be buyer of a handgun to “Present to the person selling the firearm a valid firearm safety training certificate issued by the office of the attorney general.”

State legislators recently pelted Greg Lucas, the leader of the California State Library, with questions about the funds during a budget hearing on education, the New York Post reported on Friday.The issue is connected to a foundation started by Parton called Imagination Library, which delivers free books to children. The program was set to be statewide in California in 2023, according to WJHL.

The Open Society Foundations (OSF), established by Hungarian investor George Soros and now led by his son, Alex Soros, has donated vast sums from its $23 billion (£17.2 billion) endowment to progressive causes.
The foundation has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars to groups seeking to claim reparations from Britain for slavery and colonialism.
The OSF helped to found a joint Caribbean and African campaign, and supported organisations that are now considering international litigation that could heap pressure on the British Government.
