Semafor reported that, given Democrats’ chances of retaking the House, top Democrats are now devising how to focus on alleged corruption in the Trump administration amongst other issues in their investigative agenda.
“There’s opportunities to look at not just corporations that we think are enabling some of Trump’s corruption, but certainly corporations that are not supporting American families and not really focusing on affordability,” Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA), the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, said.
Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), the top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, said he might focus on potential violations of the Emoluments Clause, which bars the president from receiving gifts from foreign powers or American taxpayers.

Just a few months after I was born in Iran, the Islamic (Demonic) Revolution took place, hijacking the country of my birth and, today, 90 million Iranians, giving birth to the Islamic Republic. Make no mistake, the Islamic Republic was conceived by evil, born in sin, and against the United States to the core of its DNA. Anyone who thinks that a war against the Islamic Republic and the ayatollahs is wrong does not know history and does not understand the dangerous threats that it poses to all Americans.

President Donald J. Trump released a statement early Saturday morning following reports that the United States has begun what he described as “major combat operations in Iran” after Israeli forces launched pre-emptive strikes on Iranian targets overnight.
The Commander-in-Chief confirmed that American forces are now engaged in what he described as a “massive and ongoing operation” aimed at neutralizing the Iranian regime’s ability to threaten U.S. troops, American allies, and the homeland itself.
President Trump outlined a decades-long pattern of Iranian aggression, reminding Americans that the regime has openly chanted “Death to America” since its inception in 1979 while backing terrorist attacks that have killed U.S. service members across the Middle East.

In Great Britain, the Labour Party no longer represents the interests of organised labour, the Conservative Party has not for a long time been remotely conservative, and even the Monster Raving Loonies now appear comparatively sane. At first sight, the Green Party, too, look to have gone down this same nominatively anti-determinist path, diluting its former focus upon worshipping Gaia and becoming much more of an Islam-pandering vehicle for worshipping Gaza. But, in another sense, the Greens really are still the party of green issues – because green is the historical colour of Islam.

Well, it's on. The United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran, to the surprise of almost no one. Well, maybe to the surprise of the Iranian regime. This is from our stalwart Townhall colleague Matt Vespa:
As I write this, the information is coming in at a furious pace. Whenever things like this are happening, the task is to filter what's helpful and what is not. Even with my skills, this story makes that a challenge. Here is an official confirmation of what we know so far: They’ve lied about everything—from the economy to your gas stove. And they’re not stopping.

Joint American-Israeli strikes against Iran took place over night, with U.S. President Donald Trump addressing both the nation and the people of Iran. Announcing the strikes to eliminate “imminent threats from the Iranian regime” which “directly endangers the United States, our troops, our bases overseas, and our allies throughout the world”, Trump said: “A short time ago, the United States Military began major combat operations in Iran”.
Iranian retaliatory strikes have been launched against Israel.

The US and Israel launched airstrikes against Iran Saturday morning in response to the regime’s refusal to dismantle its nuclear program after weeks of negotiations.
The attacks — which the Department of War called “Operation Epic Fury” — follow a massive US military buildup in the Middle East and come after President Trump repeatedly warned Tehran that it would face consequences if it didn’t make a deal with the US.
Iran then launched missiles towards Israel in a retaliatory attack as officials claimed the response would be “crushing.”

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is drawing criticism after he dismissed reports of an unruly mob pelting NYPD officers with ice and snow at Washington Square Park earlier this week as a “snowball fight.”
Officers had been summoned to the park after several individuals, who had gathered for a massive snowball fight organized on social media, began climbing onto a nearby building.
Eyewitnesses say officers, using a loudspeaker, initially encouraged the crowd to stay in the park and to have fun and then stood back to monitor the situation.

Hockey fans in New Jersey loudly booed NJ Governor Mikie Sherrill (D.) during a pregame ceremony Wednesday at the Prudential Center in Newark, where the team honored Olympic gold medalist Jack Hughes. Thunderous boos erupted as Sherrill and her husband, Jason Hedberg, were introduced before the New Jersey Devils game against the Buffalo Sabres. Sherrill and Hedberg were joining Hughes and Olympic teammate Tage Thompson for a photo.
The negative reaction to the Democrat governor stood in stark contrast to the celebratory atmosphere for Hughes, who received loud cheers, a standing ovation and chants of “U-S-A! U-S-A!” just moments earlier.

Vanguard Group will pay $29.5 million and bolster its passive investing approach in order to settle a suit by 13 Republican state attorneys general claiming the fund manager and rivals violated antitrust law through their climate activism.
The suit in U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Texas has been closely watched as a test of how far Republicans from energy-producing states would push Wall Street firms they accused of overemphasizing environmental matters.
In a press release, one of the plaintiffs, Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach, said Vanguard “agreed to strict passivity commitments”
