Margaret Brennan Clearly Doesn't Like
Senator Tom Cotton

Original Article

Margaret Brennan is one of the most controversial and adversarial "journalists" working in media today. Earlier, we told you how she pushed Secretary of State Marco Rubio about the Venezuela raids, asking why we didn't arrest more of Maduro's comrades. Rubio shut her down in his usual brilliant fashion, of course. Earlier this year, Brennan was the journalist who blamed the Holocaust on free speech, showing both her disdain for the First Amendment that protects her job and her historical ignorance of what led to the rise of the Nazis in Germany (hint: the Weimar Republic's strict speech codes were a contributing factor).

Comments:

Videos showing her facial expressions during Cotton interview, with suggestions to watch them first without sound and then with sound.

She can't stand that he is more of a man than she is. It's funny weird that in a discussion of Brennan and Cotton, anyone would be more upset about Cotton than the demonic, liar, Brennan.

China today urged Donald Trump to stay away from Venezuela's oil after the US said it would run the country following an operation to capture president Nicolas Maduro. Its call came as the captured Venezuelan leader was driven to a court in New York this morning after being indicted alongside his wife on charges of 'narco-terrorism'. The US president revealed American oil firms will 'go in and rebuild this system' as he signalled a plan to take control of huge and largely untapped reserves in Venezuela.

A hammer-wielding maniac who smashed four windows at JD Vance's Cincinnati home has been arrested by the Secret Service after an overnight break-in. William DeFoor, 26, was charged early Monday morning with one count each of obstructing official business, criminal damaging or endangering, criminal trespass and vandalism. Secret Service agents heard a loud noise at the home around midnight and spotted DeFoor running from the home, which is the secondary residence for Vance, his wife Usha and their three young children, who were out of town at the time.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s newly appointed tenant advocate called to “seize private property” and blasted home ownership as a “weapon of white supremacy” in a series of pro-communist social media posts. Cea Weaver, Mamdani’s new director of the city Office to Protect Tenants, made the statements and urged her followers to elect more communists in several lecturing posts on her now-deleted X account that were unearthed by internet sleuths. “Seize private property!” she said on June 13, 2018. She later doubled down on that in a mini-manifesto on August 2019.

Venezuela’s acting president, Delcy Rodriguez, who was sworn in on Saturday, is not the country’s legitimate leader, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said. Rubio spoke with Rodriguez — the country’s vice president — after the US conducted a daring military operation to capture the former Venezuelan strongman Nicolas Maduro. However, he suggested the US will not support her staying in power. He called for elections to determine the next leader of the beleaguered South American country.

The Trump critics are out again, criticizing Trump’s use of the military in Venezuela to depose Nicolás Maduro.  The critics cite Congress’s power to declare war under Article I, Section 8, Clause 11 of the Constitution as proof that Trump acted “illegally” and “unconstitutionally.”  The critics are wrong and are misreading the Constitution.[snip] The president gets to act first, and he can act unilaterally, as Trump did.  Or he can ask Congress for a declaration of war or an authorization to use force, as FDR and Bush 43 did.  But the final say belongs to the people in the form of how their elected representatives judge the president’s action after the fact.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said Monday an American takeover of Greenland would amount to the end of the NATO military alliance. Her comments came in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s renewed call for the strategic, mineral-rich Arctic island to come under U.S. control in the aftermath of the weekend military operation in Venezuela. The dead-of-night operation by U.S. forces in Caracas to capture leader Nicolás Maduro and his wife early Saturday left the world stunned, and heightened concerns in Denmark and Greenland, which is a semiautonomous territory of the Danish kingdom and thus part of NATO.

There is some good news within this announcement as Justin Trudeau’s former Deputy Prime Minister to Canada is well known to both President Donald Trump and North American political followers for a decade.Chrystia Freeland was the former lead of the Canadian trade delegation when Trudeau realized he needed to try and offset the economic damage within the renegotiated NAFTA agreement known as the USMCA. China has never been more trade-dependent in its history. Xi Jinping's only hope for an economy that is probably contracting is to increase exports. He knows — or should know — that he is in no position to disrupt international commerce. Xi apparently believes that a high degree of tension is in his personal interest because continual confrontation would prevent political adversaries from challenging or even deposing him.... Any incident, therefore, could spiral out of control. The United States has treaty obligations to defend two likely victims of Chinese aggression — Japan and the Philippines — and has a moral obligation and many practical reasons to defend Taiwan.
