In a move that has shocked conservatives across social media, a niqab-wearing Muslim woman named Lakeshia M. Alston has filed to run as a Republican for North Carolina State Senate District 22 in the 2026 election. Alston is the only Republican in the race so far, and her history screams lifelong Democrat. The shocking move has led many to question if this is an infiltration tactic from the left, designed to disrupt GOP primaries and hand victories to Democrats in the general election. Alston’s photo and registration went viral on X when conservative commentator Eric Daugherty posted a screenshot of her official filing and an image of her

Gov. Another day, another exposé of illegal alien crime. It turns out the three men who committed $14 million gift card fraud in Texas were illegal aliens. Kristians Petrovskis, Romunds Cubrevics, and Nurmunds Ulevicus from Latvia are accused of the fraud, per a news release last week from the Texas Financial Crimes Intelligence Center (TFCIC). But KCWX2 shed more light on the crime by stating that all three men entered America illegally and for the express purpose of committing criminal activities. Petrovskis, Cubrevics, and Ulevicus are accused of gift card cloning, according to TFCIC, and at the time of their arrest had over 400 gift cards in their possession.

Colorado is a much different place from when I grew up in Colorado Springs in the 60s. That was before the Eisenhower Tunnel on I-70 was drilled under 11,990’ Loveland Pass. It was before the gondola at Aspen and it was before Snowmass was founded. Vail Pass was a treacherous gravel road, and the town of Vail did not exist. It was wonderful. Our family had one of those pop-up tent trailers and we went camping several times a year. Getting there was half the fun.

With a new legislative season about to kick off and a socialist mayor taking office, Gov. Kathy Hochul will find herself under enormous pressure from left-wing Democrats as she vies for reelection. Yet if she totally caves, it could backfire come November. For starters, incoming mayor Zohran Mamdani and his far-left minions will demand her help in turning his lavish, pricey campaign promises into reality. That could spell bad news for the city and state, but Hochul will also face a dilemma of her own: If she knuckles under too much to the Mamdani camp, she may alienate independents and moderates, who make up a large part of the electorate upstate.

Even if you weren’t there, like me, at the beginning when disco music went from being played exclusively in the underground gay and black clubs to being listened to and played by the mainstream media, most, if not all of us, know the song. We like the song, like we like any other song, for whatever reason, as music is subjective. It's not because the singer is a Republican or a Democrat.

Anti-oil and gas advocates across the country have pursued litigation in recent years attempting to force the fossil fuel industry to pay for decades of financial damages the advocates claim were caused by climate change. Several cases have been dismissed while others advanced through court systems, with some being considered before the U.S. Supreme Court in 2026. Critics of the litigation call it "woke lawfare" and an attempt to force progressive political policies via the judicial system. Critics also argue the lawsuits threaten U.S. energy independence and, depending on outcomes, will have sweeping impacts on every American. Here are some of those cases.

This is logically contradictory. On the one hand, if it is illness that explains why Nick Reiner committed a crime, then he cannot be held morally responsible for his actions. It is just to hold him morally responsible for his actions only if he could have chosen, on the basis of reasons, not impulses or compulsions, to have done other than what he allegedly did.
