The Seditious Six Scandal continues to mushroom, with FBI interviews to be scheduled for the six members of Congress who made the video encouraging members of the military to refuse any "illegal orders" from President Trump, despite the lawmakers being unable to specify any example of such an “illegal order” having ever been made. Apparently, the Democrats were projecting again after January 6, 2021, when they condemned a so-called Republican “insurrection.” Amazing how the projecting keeps happening. Nevertheless, this is a serious business in American history. But it is not unprecedented. Another president who dealt with an analogous situation was Andrew Jackson, the seventh president of the U.S.

The six lawmakers who put out the "illegal orders" video are now being contacted to schedule interviews with the FBI. They tried to claim they were only telling members of the military that they had the right to refuse "illegal orders." But the video itself belies that. (Snip) One of the other Democrat lawmakers, Rep. Chris Deluzio (PA-17), spoke with CNN's John Berman and revealed whether he will sit for an interview with the Bureau. His response takes some kind of gall. He didn't help himself, claiming that the FBI was conducting an effort to intimidate the lawmakers from "criticizing the president."

The problem with getting a free pass on your responsibilities is that, after a while, you begin to think that you don’t have any. That’s what’s happened to the Democrats. They’ve gotten so used to thinking the rules don’t apply to them because ORANGE MAN BAD that when the rules do get applied to them, it feels like outrageous oppression. Take the “illegal orders” video, a combination of stupidity, narcissism, treachery, and blue falconry rarely equaled even by the low standards of the Dems. The six schmucks who appeared in it have been congratulating themselves on their “courage” for the last week.

Thursday’s jobs report suggests the US economy is much stronger than expected — but California lags behind the rest of the nation. Delayed over six weeks by the government shutdown, the report showed that the US economy created 119,000 jobs in September. That blew away economists’ consensus prediction of just 50,000, since summer months usually see slow job growth. Sure seems a sign “the Trump economic policies are actually working,” as Vice President JD Vance put it. Not so, the progressive economic policies of Gov. Gavin Newsom’s California. The Golden State has had the nation’s highest unemployment rate for several months running.

He was 74. A cause of death was not immediately available. Brian Naugle, the tournament director of the Insperity Invitational in Houston, said Zoeller's daughter called him Thursday with the news. Zoeller was the last player to win the Masters on his first attempt, a three-man playoff in 1979. He famously waved a white towel at Winged Foot in 1984 when he thought Greg Norman had beat him, only to defeat Norman in an 18-hole playoff the next day.

In November 2021, just as former President Joe Biden’s administration was importing thousands of Afghan nationals to the United States every week, then-Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas admitted that “not all” Afghans were being vetted with “in-person, refugee interviews,” an admission that shocked members of Congress. On Wednesday, 29-year-old Rahmanullah Lakanwal of Afghanistan left two National Guardsmen in critical condition after he allegedly opened fire on them while shouting “Allahu Akbar,” law enforcement officials say. Lakanwal arrived in the U.S. in 2021 as part of Biden’s Operation Allies Welcome, carried out by Mayorkas at the time, which ultimately resettled tens of thousands of Afghans in American communities.
