The American Soup Kitchen Is Officially Closed

There’s a particular kind of innocence in believing that generosity will be recognized for what it is. A nation opens its doors, offers a warm meal, provides a safe bed, and assumes the visitor understands the privilege. For decades, America set out the banquet, refilled the bowls, and quietly told itself that this time, surely, the guests would take only what they needed. But people who are constantly fed start to forget who stocked the pantry. They come back with friends. Then relatives. Then demands. And the hosts, too polite to object, keep ladling stew while pretending not to notice the rising strain in their own households.

Would that PDJT's announcement were the final word on the matter. Sadly, there is the imperious judiciary...

It would be nice, but the people that live to spend other peoples money, our politicians and the black-robed jurists from hell, aren't letting it happen. I'm with PDT all the way, but I'm not sure he can do it without a lot more support.

I'm all in with Walter, but let's not forget about our socialist policies for Americans (SNAP, EBT, S8, big business, big pharma, big ed, big govt, etc. etc.) Let's close those kitchens too. It's time to do everything, no stones unturned.

Friend's daughter has been carrying on a long distance relationship with a guy in Nigeria. He was here, then had to go back to care for children of sister who was killed in an auto accident. They have been talking daily for about five years. She visited there last year. They have been working on the visa process. He is about to get it, then PDJT said no one could come in that wasn't healthy, almost the same day they found a spot on his lung during his health check for the visa. I say all that to say this ... I asked my friend if he got to come, was he going to eventually bring his mother, father and the orphan children he was helping care for. After some stammering and stuttering, friend said yes, he is what he is planning. Him and every other person who comes to this country. I hope PDJT stops it now! It is past time.

The left has totally succumbed to Trump Derangement Syndrome, so much so that it’s difficult to look at them as serious players in the political arena as they ramble on with one inane analogy after another. (Snip) One such example of this strategy is Trump’s efforts to build a sorely needed White House ballroom. But few have gone down the rabbit hole as deep as CNN contributor Tiffany Cross, who dared to say, “This sounds to me like someone is building a structure that he does not plan on leaving, and that’s something we need to start taking very seriously.”

A George Soros-linked organization is allegedly responsible for funding housing for the Afghan refugee responsible for this Wednesday’s terror attack in D.C. against National Guardsmen. The shooter in Wednesday’s attack has been identified as Rahmanullah Lakanwal, an Afghan refuge who entered the U.S. after the Biden administration’s catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan. According to The New York Times, Lakanwal lives in Bellingham, Washington, where at one point he and his family had been renting a property from a woman named Kristina Widman. “Widman said in an interview that the rental had been set up through World Relief, an organization that helps resettle refugees, and that she had had limited contact with the family,”

Bronze Star recipient Mark Lucas detailed how the U.S. military’s Afghan allies were “untrustworthy” and perpetuated a barbaric culture of pedophilia and abusing women in an interview after it was revealed that the suspect in the Washington, DC, shooting of two members of the National Guard is an Afghan national who previously worked with the CIA. Rahmanullah Lakanwal, 29, arrived in the United States in 2021 under the Biden administration’s Operation Allies Welcome project in the aftermath of the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. The Washington state resident and father of five worked in “a special CIA-backed Afghan Army unit” before leaving his home country, the Associated Press reported.

President Donald Trump confirmed that he will continue his longstanding tradition of attending the Army-Navy football game during a call with service members on Thanksgiving evening. A soldier who identified himself as Army Sgt. Major Anderson asked the president who he would bet on if he had to wager on the game. “That’s a terrible question!” Trump joked. “He’ll get me in so much trouble.” “But I’ll tell you what I will do, I’ll be going… One of those teams is having a spectacular year…They’re both doing well, but I’ll be at the game, and I’m going to let you know right after the game who’s going to win,” he added.

The economy is growing fast. The stock market is booming. Interest rates have plunged. The unemployment rate remains very low and few workers are being laid off. Consumers have not entered a holiday season with inflation running this low since before Joe Biden was president. No wonder a record number of Americans say they plan to shop this weekend and sales are expected to grow at a healthy rate. Economists are forecasting that registers will be ringing up sales at a fast pace this year. The National Retail Federation expects sales in November and December to grow between 3.7 percent and 4.2 percent compared with last year.

He resided in Washington State and reportedly drove across the country to carry out his attack.

The chart actually proved the opposite. It showed prices skyrocketed under Joe Biden. (Snip) Apparently, Amy Klobuchar didn’t get the memo. New Jersey governor-elect Mikie Sherrill (D.) turned to former energy secretary Jennifer Granholm, an architect of Biden-era green energy policies—which polls show are unpopular with Garden State voters—to co-chair her transition team’s energy task force. The governor-elect’s energy team is a quasi-reunion of Biden administration alumni—in addition to Granholm, former Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) member Allison Clements will serve as its other co-chair. It’s a signal that although Sherrill ran to the middle on energy issues during her gubernatorial campaign, she is prepared to govern as a climate hawk. Granholm and Clements have a long history of supporting far-left policies, such as EV mandates, gas stove bans, and expensive

Fuzzy Zoeller, a two-time major champion and one of golf's most gregarious characters whose career was tainted by a racially insensitive joke about Tiger Woods, has died, according to a longtime colleague. He was 74. A cause of death was not immediately available. Brian Naugle, the tournament director of the Insperity Invitational in Houston, said Zoeller's daughter called him Thursday with the news. Zoeller was the last player to win the Masters on his first attempt, a three-man playoff in 1979. He famously waved a white towel at Winged Foot in 1984 when he thought Greg Norman had beat him, only to defeat Norman in an 18-hole playoff the next day.
