Bronze Star recipient Mark Lucas detailed how the U.S. military’s Afghan allies were “untrustworthy” and perpetuated a barbaric culture of pedophilia and abusing women in an interview after it was revealed that the suspect in the Washington, DC, shooting of two members of the National Guard is an Afghan national who previously worked with the CIA. Rahmanullah Lakanwal, 29, arrived in the United States in 2021 under the Biden administration’s Operation Allies Welcome project in the aftermath of the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. The Washington state resident and father of five worked in “a special CIA-backed Afghan Army unit” before leaving his home country, the Associated Press reported.

None of this surprises me. These stories were coming out when the war in Iraq was still going on!

ANOTHER story that the people "who get their news from ABC News" will hear nothing about. From what I have seen over the last 10 years or so, in general the Islamists are more trouble here than they are worth. I would be in favor of sending them ALL back to their home countries. Every. Single. One.

Common sense will tell you that Afghan males born and raised in the absolute Islamic ideology that has always been dominant in Afghanistan who are taught that they are the mortal enemies of Christians and Jews should be considered to be “untrustworthy” in unstable situations like the US military faced in Afghanistan. Once the CIA moved into Afghanistan and started recruiting fighting military units of willing Afghans, it is also common sense that the Islamic terrorist organizations native to Afghanistan would start infiltrating those CIA units with all sorts of double agents and spies and set up communications avenues allowing the enemy terrorist organizations to know exactly what those CIA units loaded with recruited Afghans were up to 24/7.

Even Mr. Lucas recalled one Afghan interpreter whom he apparently respected. The bottom line is that thorough vetting of "allies" on an individual-by-individual basis is necessary.

You may recall that one of these people agreed to cooperate with the CIA in 2009 and blew himself up with a suicide vest at Camp Chapman, killing seven CIA officers and wounding six more. This technique often worked in Vietnam but we're talking muslims in Afghanistan.

Yes Afghans helped and fought with us because we were defeating their enemy. But the fact is, they are all the same, they hate western culture and our way of life. They helped us while we were an asset to them. Once that ended it's back to normal. They should never have been brought here.

The left has totally succumbed to Trump Derangement Syndrome, so much so that it’s difficult to look at them as serious players in the political arena as they ramble on with one inane analogy after another. (Snip) One such example of this strategy is Trump’s efforts to build a sorely needed White House ballroom. But few have gone down the rabbit hole as deep as CNN contributor Tiffany Cross, who dared to say, “This sounds to me like someone is building a structure that he does not plan on leaving, and that’s something we need to start taking very seriously.”

There’s a particular kind of innocence in believing that generosity will be recognized for what it is. A nation opens its doors, offers a warm meal, provides a safe bed, and assumes the visitor understands the privilege. For decades, America set out the banquet, refilled the bowls, and quietly told itself that this time, surely, the guests would take only what they needed. But people who are constantly fed start to forget who stocked the pantry. They come back with friends. Then relatives. Then demands. And the hosts, too polite to object, keep ladling stew while pretending not to notice the rising strain in their own households.
